History

Established in 1992.

Frank Calandro was introduced to the landscape trade at the early age of 10. His father, Anthony Calandro, owned and operated an outdoor power equipment store. As Frank hung around the shop, he began to take an interest in machines, and how they work.

When Frank was 15, he started mowing the neighbor’s lawn. Then two neighbors. Then three. By the time high school graduation came around, he had mulitple accounts on several local streets.

As all teenagers come to the cross roads of going to college or continuing to work, so did Frank. Frank chose to go to college, at the same time continuing to service his customers while growing the business.

Landscaper With a College Degree

Frank continued his education, eventually switching to evening classes, while he forged forward with his desire to be a successful business owner. He received his bachelors in Finace & Business Management, and would even obtain his masters! Today, Calandro Landscape & Design is led by someone who is dedicated, educated, and passionate about landscape design & construction.
