I’m new in town and I drive a VW which I usually take to the dealership because I have an extended warranty. I’m weary of mechanics because I’ve heard such horror stories, but my check engine light was on and I needed to find a place that would work on my VW, so I bit the bullet and called. I spoke with the owner and he told me just to come in. He was working on my car right away and told me what he thought I needed. I came the next available day I could and he got my car in right away. It was done in an hour with the original price and problems he had quoted me. He also showed me the parts he took out, and did a full inspection of my car. The service was excellent, I knew exactly what needed to be done, and I didn’t feel like I was being taken advantage of. Good to know I can find a trusted and honest mechanic in this new town.

Tom has worked on my BMW’s for the past 15 years, and I have never had a problem with the price or quality. Go ahead, take your BMW to the dealer and see what you get. Price is double and they are into the «replace parts» type of diagnosing. Tom will track the problem down, solve the problem, and get you back on the road. If parts are required, they are not the dealer price! No problem here.

I went in for a quote on a new rotor for my 2012 Passat. The guy at the counter seemed nice enough at first and gave me several prices for parts and labor. I had a weird feeling about the parts. I asked to take a picture of the brands so I could do some do some research before deciding. The guy’s attitude change abruptly and was just plain unprofessional. He even repeated «YOU MAY NOT TAKE A PICTURE» several times. In my mind I was like «you may NOT have my business». It seemed like another typical mechanic trying to rip people off. I would avoid this place like the plague.

Did the job right and a good job but had a lack of detail.
If you own a german auto then you know corners can’t be cut. Forgot to reset the system on my 2006 M5 and that can tell the car that it’s way over due for a service and put the car into limp mode. Which obviously isn’t good.
Break and oil derive was done, opened the hood and for some odd reason all the hood rubber seals were all over the place and not put back where they needed to be.
Decent work, lack of detail so I feel generous for three starts

Terrific experience. Volvo a/​c was blowing hot just before the long drive back to LA. Mike pulled me right into a bay, worked my Volvo like that’s all he does and had me rolling with 57 degree air less than an hour later. Super-​excellent find for anyone in Roseburg or just driving thru.

Driving down the I-​5, Portland to SF. 200 miles in my 9 – 5 wagon temp. gauge starts to fluctuate up. I watched it for a couple of miles & one big hill later, overheating, damn!
I pulled over and called my mechanic, he said it was the thermostat sticking, find someone who could do it. Well its 2:30pm and the closest town was Roseburg, OR 97 470. So I called a couple of places and ended up going to one of the only import mechanics within miles. Got over there and I asked if he could do it, even though it was late in the day. Well the owner changed his shoes, rolled up his sleeves, turned up the radio in the shop and went to work!
He had the car done and me on the road 45mins later! Unbelievable, saved me and my 2 dogs from a big headache. Thanks Auto Tech!
