Been coming to Maribel’s for the past 5 years! Im happy I found this place when I moved to Long Island! It’s a cutesy salon ran by Maribel and her daughters! Best wash ever is from Katherine and Yinet is my go to hair girl. Even though I transitioned to natural I still come for a deep condition. I bring my 8 year old daughter here also and they are very good on her natural hair! My mom also comes here and her hair always looks so shiny and healthy when she leaves! Great customer care and they know hair!

This is honestly the best place to get your hair done. I have been to my share of hair salons and when my go to spot closed down in Brooklyn I started coming here.
Great quality products. Very professional but still comfortable enough to relax. I wish they weren’t so far but they are definitely worth the travel. My sister and mother go here as well. Hair feel and looks healthy which to me is most important.

Great place to get my hair done. I come here weekly and my hair has been healthier than ever. All the ladies truly care about the health of your hair and don’t sell you products only to make money. I’ve had a great experience coming here.

Been coming to this salon for a while now, perfect for hair growth, and what’s best is they treat you like family. Hidden off of sunrise but definitely a jewel!

One of the worse experiences at a hair salon I’ve ever had. I come in to the place and the 2 women who are working there don’t even pay any attention to me. I mean you would expect the employees to ask you what you would like to do. So after a while they finally ask and I tell them I need a cut. After a good wait, this woman begins to cut my hair where she doesn’t even bother untangling my hair. She takes pieces of my hair, raises it in the hair and pulls at it causing my scalp to be in excruciating pain. She hears me in pain and sees me cringing and continues to do it anyway. After the cut I ask how much the blow drying costs and she gives me the same price as the price she gave me for my hair cut. I didn’t bother, paid her for the hair cut and left. This was a few weeks ago and my scalp is still in pain. Never again.
