A diamond in the rough, this buisness seems to really have their act together. I had a less than stellar experience at my last oil change, specifically a less than professional atmosphere and sloppy handling of my vehicle. The employees left oil streaks from there hands all over the drivers side of my car showing me they hadn’t even bothered to wash their hands or remove gloves. At B&K the appearance may not be as crisp and clean as a nationwide chain but immediately you get an honest professional atmosphere from the employees. For example; I forgot my Oakley sunglasses on waiting rooms table and they took care to notice and hold them at the desk. In addition the nice guy who handled my walk in appointment helped save me money by suggesting I bring in my own oil and filter. And while I didn’t save a whole lot of money it’s the thought that counts, this shows that they think of me as a person not a checkbook to be tapped. The work itself was quick and clean they took the time to handle my car cleanly and politely. I will definitely be back for future repairs, knock on wood I don’t need anything too soon.

I took my trusty Honda Civic with 230k miles on it to the Firestone down the street, the check engine light was on and it was mis-​firing badly. They diagnosed it at for a charge of $ 200 and told me that it had bad compression and that it more than likely needed a head gasket, they quoted me a cool $ 2000, plus another $ 1200 for suspension needs. I went out and bought a new car, and let the old Civic sit for a while. Finally took it to another mechanic, recommended by a friend. They diagnosed the car needing spark plugs, everything else was good including the suspension. They could taken me for a lot more since I believed the Firestone people. Honest mechanics are hard to find.

I went to Bun based on a recommendation from a friend, and I have no complaints whatsoever. I was car shopping for awhile and he was able to squeeze in several inspections for me without having given him much notice. He’s extremely knowledgeable and tells you straight up how it is, and that’s what you want from a mechanic. I’ll be going there for future services and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the shop to anybody.

As I said from my reviews before, this place will fix your cars or trucks the right way. Bun the owner and Mark the front counter are awesome guys and very straight forward about what the issue with your vehicle. I will never go to any auto shop besides P&K. If you have any issue with your vehicles this is the place to be. I will guarantee you you won’t have any problem with these guy and they are very straight forward and know what their doing.. ‘

The service is excellent! Honest is the best policy. Bun is the man! He will make sure that he explains the problems thoroughly to the customers before making any repairs. Awesome guy and will definitely recommended anyone that need repairs or just a simple oil change @ B&K Auto Experts.

Service and quality here and impeccable. Everyone is so nice and accommodating and HONEST which is not something you always see when it comes to car repair. I wish I had known about this place sooner; I would have saved a lot of money on car repairs.

I needed an oil change and decided to give them a try due to the excellent Unilocal reviews. during the oil change I waited and chatted with mark who was a great guy .
Since I was there I had asked if they could check a squeaking noise and quote me to get it fixed. during the quote (which I found to be extremely fair) Bun told me that I wouldn’t be in danger if I left it unfixed. I definitely appreciated his honesty and when/​if I decide to get it fixed I will be back !

Bun is thee BEST mechanic out there. I cannot emphasize this enough through star ratings or words! I’ve (and my family) have been going to him for YEARS! And I refuse to go anywhere else! He’s amazing and the most honest mechanic out there. He takes his time, literally SHOWS you and EXPLAINS the problem (s) to you in terms that anyone can understand (I’m no car genius). B&K is the best auto repair around. Bun is very honest, trustworthy, and gives you a fair price for repairs. He doesn’t try to sell you on anything you don’t need and will tell you if repairs can wait. Bun also takes the time to show and explain what he is doing. All other auto repair should be like this. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Bun is soo honest, I can’t emphasize that enough. I had a major engine leak that was going to take 11 hours of labor to fix. over $ 1000 .he suggested we try alternate fixes before investing that much money into my car, instead of pushing me to do the repair. He also had done brakes, oil changes, tires for us, always quick and honest. He is a church going man who will take time to show you exactly what the problem is. He showed me pictures on his computer of what the problems were so I could visualize what he was going to be working on, and showed me the physical parts that were going to be used. I trust him so much. Met someone from dekalb in his waiting room who drove all that way to have him work on her car… that speaks volumes. Thanks bun for great, honest work!

This review is long overdue. I found this place on Unilocal based on the reviews, so I have to pass it on. I’ve been coming to Bun for a couple of years, and he is without question a very trustworthy mechanic. Previous to Bun I would mainly go to dealerships for work, but their prices are astronomical, and I don’t always trust their diagnosis with what is wrong. Dealerships seem more apt to «find» problems that aren’t really there, or they just replace parts at random until they fix the problem. Bun explains what he finds, is more than willing to show you on your car, and then gives you a straight up honest price. He’s saved me hundreds, easily, and possibly thousands, versus going to dealerships. As long as I have a car that needs to be repaired, I’m coming to him.

Bun was very professional and his fee was very fair. I did not have the sour taste in my mouth like I usually do when I leave the other mechanics. I highly recommend B&K Auto Experts. I will always go there from now on.

I went in to get my FJ Cruiser bumper and passenger mirror repaired last week after some issues over the winter. Bun at P&K Auto was super friendly and professional and was able to find the parts I needed. He was thorough in showing me what my car needed and explained this to me in terms I could actually understand (I know nothing about cars!). Within two days of ordering the new parts for my car, Bun called and notified me that the parts had arrived and to bring my car in to fix. I came in a couple days afterwards and the repairs were done within two hours! Talk about quick service!
I would highly recommend P&K Auto! They have fair prices, friendly service, and are quick!

Been going to his shop for years, best mechanic ever. Before he fixes anything on your car, he explains the problems first. Which most automotive shop does not and honest to tell you if it needs to be done or not. Does very clean and excellent work for a fair price.

My family and I have been going to P&K auto since 2000 and the service has always been top notch. Bun is extremely dedicated to his profession and the work shows it. Bun takes the time to explain and even show you the problem. Even if you aren’t sure what he is pointing out to you, he will not let you leave confused and unsure of what problems your car may have. After all is said and done, this is a place I trust. Not only do I trust this place, I trust the mastermind mechanic of this business which is Bun. This establishment is highly recommended, extremely professional and therefore will always be a customer of P&K auto.

My family and I have been coming to P&K Autos for the past 6 or 7 years. It’s only recently that I have started going there myself.
Bun and his team are exceptional, they have great customer service and always greet me with a smile! As a grad student I’m not made of money and Bun has looked out for me in that respect, and has given me some great quality service and parts for a decent price. The team knows what they can and what they can’t do and will also make a great referral with a reasonable price as well.
I feel so lucky that I have a dependable mechanic that’s always there with a smiling face, and sometimes even a story to entertain me when he has the time.

In life a man needs 2 things… a GOOD women and a GOOD mechanic. I am half way there with Bun and the staff at B & K AUTO Repair. That’s not a typo… they will be known as this shortly! Bun is a great mechanic. Not only does he know what he is doing. he looks out for you and your money… which is UNLIKE any mechanic and he is an honest guy. He will tell you what needs to be done. He will not make you do things that doesn’t have to be done. I bought my TSX in Dec 2005 and I have only been going to him for everything and NOT the Acura dealership. As long as Bun has this shop I am a for LIFE customer. He explains things very well and is very good and that. I have recommended my parents to go there as well as my other friends. Don’t go to a anyone else… go to B & K Auto. You will be happy!

Both my roommate and I go to Bun at P & K and he’s the best mechanic I’ve found yet. If you have any questions about what’s going on with your vehicle he’ll take the time to answer them until you understand (which I love) and he won’t talk you into huge decisions until he’s done all of his testing. In December, my Grand Cherokee was having a lot of what seemed to be electrical issues… Bun did three separate rounds of testing to confirm it was the head gasket, because he didn’t want me to spend a ton of money on something I may not need. Turns out I did, but I was glad he took the «better safe than empty your wallet» approach.
I’m currently trying to purchase a used vehicle and before I buy, I told Bun I’d like him to look it over. The price is right for an inspection, and he always tries to squeeze me in since he knows how crunched for time I am (currently borrowing a vehicle… eek!). He’s spent extra time on the phone with me AND stayed after hours discussing vehicle options and giving me things to look for when I’m shopping around.
My roommate has both of his vehicles serviced with Bun, and I definitely recommend him!
