Very good lunch special prices and they give you a lot of food. The inside is very plain but the food is good. The fried rice was excellent and its served piping hot.

I was not impressed. the egg foo young was salty and sauce a lot darker than it should be. Egg roll was good. The Mongolian beef was also salty. Fried rice was ok. Chicken chow mein was ok. I’ve been looking for great Chinese food and I haven’t been too lucky. Will keep looking

Been Living in Roselle for many years. Jin’s is pretty good, its just your run of the mill store front, but the food is very tasty and inexpensive. They really don’t have a sit down restaurant, but there are a few hard booths. Now on to the food: The Wonton Soup is very good. All their Fried Rice is good, and they give you plenty of it. The Chicken Subgum is Delicious, Love those half Almonds on top. Pretty Much everything we have tried is worth going back for. Oh my last remark, The Crab rangoon is Spectacular as long as your not watching your weight, it is so good, BUT they could use a touch more filling. Delish!

Food is just amazing, but they have to work more on their interior design and improve their service.

Disappointed. This is the closest ‘affordable’ Chinese food to my new home so we tried some things out. The Governors chicken(general tsos) was not all that spicy, and came with a couple pieces of green pepper, baby corn, and carrots. I personally am a fan of the layer of broccoli that would normally come with it. Also ordered the house fried rice, absolutely no flavor. Looked more like white rice with some meat in it. And the crab rangoons were alright. It seems like there wasn’t the right amount of crab to fried dough ratio. So all in all, not horrible– but nothing I would crave. I haven’t given up, I’ll try some other dishes and review later. Also– don’t have your 10 year old take orders. I almost wound up with house egg foo young instead of fried rice if I hadn’t had her read the order back to me.

I would give this place 6 stars if I could! It was excellent! I moved to the area almost a year ago with my family and we have been seriously disappointed with the Chinese food options since moving from Palatine(close to Yu’s, as another Unilocaler wrote). We ordered chicken chop suey, beef fried rice, and beef with mushrooms and gravy. I usually drown my dish in soy sauce, but it was not necessary with Jin’s because the food had so much flavor. Everyone was more than satisfied with what they ordered. The egg rolls were awesome, too! It’s our new #1 Chinese place! Yum!

Great food! This place was recommended to me by my cousin when I moved into the area and I believe that it is hands down the best chinese food that you’ll find in the area. I can’t wait to order from here again.

We love Jin’s! The food is excellent and it is ready quickly. It’s not expensive and we always end up with leftovers. There are a few booths in the front if you stop by for lunch; otherwise it’s pretty much carry-out. Delivery is quick and the food comes steaming hot. The family who owns the restaurant is very nice as well.

Jin’s has changed ownership and it hasn’t been for the better. The food is not seasoned as well, hot & sour soup was vinegary. I am very disappointed because they were my favorite local Chinese restaurant. They are in the same strip mall where my daughter takes karate and I enjoyed being able to place an order before class and pick it up afterwards to take home. It was our weekly treat and the style of food tied in(somewhat) with her lessons. Now we have to find another local place.

Jin’s is the best carry out Chinese in the area. We have recommended them to all our friends and family. Terrific lunch specials! They have a wide selection and give you a ton of food.

Jin’s has some of the best Chinese I ever had. Portions are large enough for my wife and I to share … but we always get at least two dinners plus an extra side of rice and egg rolls. This way, there is plenty for leftovers. I personally enjoy the chicken noodle soup and I buy a small white rice to put right into the soup. I keep their number in my cell phone for those nights when you just feel like ordering something on the way home. Everything is usually ready in about 20 minutes.

I would say that this place is definitely better than Wing Hing, Golden Palace, Golden Wok, and Chow’s. Its good but not the best. The best would be Yu’s, but thats a whole another story.
