Le Chau Minh MD

Dr. Chau is a character I wish I never had the opportunity to met. My mom has been going there for 19 yrs against our advise bc it would be «too much of a hassle «to change doctor» and «I only go see him once every few months so it’s ok». She has 19 yrs of medical history with this doctor so I see her dilemma. Doesn’t help that my mom can’t read or write so changing doctor will be problematic if no one is available to take her. Because, she is illiterate Dr. chau has used this against her many time. For a doctor, that’s completely umprofessional and as a decent human being just why. His rudeness is something that can’t be overlook. Maybe it’s his ego but he definitely love to remind you that you’re just not «intellectually at his level». So sick and tired of meeting doctor who live in the past, thinking because he’s a doctor respect is automatically granted to his title. I don’t think so, we don’t live in Vietnam anymore and rudeness is just not acceptable. Doctors should be caring, understanding and helpful. Something Dr. CHAU clearly lack.
I am extremely excited that my mom finally agreed to change doctor. Her last visit was the final straw. My mom has patience for days but even she can’t deal with how demeaning he makes her feel. Dr. chau love interrupting ppl while they speak. He interrupted me last time but I’m not nice like my mom and i told him not to interupt me while i try to explain my mom symptoms to him. Well he didn’t like that but I can care less. If you want to understand your patients sickness, don’t you listen to them first? That’s just basic doctor knowledge. And I don’t kindly to ppl who treat my mom poorly especially in my presence. He completely take advantage of his patients who don’t speak any English or is illiterate to run a business where he can treat them with less than what they deserve. Don’t be a doctor if you can’t handle the responsibilities of one. I question his integrity, his work ethics and his moral. This review is 19 yrs overdue. Any doctor we find will be significantly be before than Dr. Chau, and that’s a fact!

I use to go to this doctor and I’m glad I don’t anymore. So basically about a year ago when I didn’t have insurance, I had to get a ppd shot for work and I went to them because it was the closest and convenient place at the moment. So basically I went to get the PPD shot and they charged me $ 10 dollars. The nurse, one of the ladies who works there, gave me the shot and read it. They also signed a paper stating that it was negative and etc and signed the doctors name. Today I go back to get a paper signed for my work and they told me I had to see the doctor and pay $ 20 just for him to sign that they gave me a PPD a year ago. I had to wait over an hour and agree with them! They said I was positive but on the paper it said negative. To top it off they can’t find my file! They were very unprofessional, money hungry, and long wait! One of the ladies threw my papers back to me and yelled at me. They need to go! Dr. Chau Le allows his workers to do this?

I’ve been seeing Dr. Le for almost 20 years and I think he’s an excellent doctor. He’s very professional in treating endocrinology and thyroid problems. Today, I don’t have to take Thyroid medicine anymore. endocrinology specialist is very rare, go to this Dr., he can treat you. And also he’s caring, responsible, kindness to his patients. You’ll like him.

Personable and caring. Doctor to myself and my entire family, 15 – 20 still counting. The ladies in the front always remember your name and what you came in last for. Very convenient for both Vietnamese and Mandarin speaking clients. I know Dr. Chau is commended at UCLA as assistant professor there so he has both experiences in the office and in research.

He a good doctor and he take care of his patients well !!! He has so many patients when you come you had to wait the only thing that he doesn’t take or except oppoitment he only takes walk in only ???

I think Dr. Le Minh Chau is a great doctor. He has a lot of experience and treats his patients well given the crappie insurance OBAMA Care provides.
With OBAMA Care OR HMO or MediCare or MediCal, Dr. LE doesn’t get paid much for his sevices. I think if anyone complains, then they should look to increase their insurance plan premium or contributions for better services. YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET.
My family has PPO and has no problem with him. We have been with him for over 20 years.

This place is ridiculously terrible… when first got in, no one was in the front office… this was around 8:20 AM. I ended up just putting my brother’s name on the list… around 9:00 AM a few employees came in with their breakfast, I guess… they didn’t greet anyone or anything… What’s worst was they didn’t even check the people on the list… we waited till 9:30 and then 9:40 then I went up to ask when is my brother’s turn… they started looking for files now… the receptionist and the medical assistant loses your files. Sign in but they don’t really check you in… they wait till the last minute and try to do everything including searching for your file. When they can’t find your file, they would make it seem like nothing is wrong and then tell you that its your fault for not bringing your info…
This is my brother’s primary doctor so I took him here hoping he can see the doctor regarding his tremendous neck pain… turn out we waited only for rude services and can’t see the doctor. Ridiculous!!!
Our first experience wasn’t that great. It seem like all the doctor know was give basic instructions like get this and that checked… he can’t really cure you but we thought we give the place another chance, yet this time is even worst than the first time! I am done… switching my brother to another doctor and never coming back here.

My god mother had an eye infection. She went to see him. He told my mom that nothing was wrong with her eye. After many times, she couldn’t bear the pain anymore. She went to see a specialist. The specialist told her that she needed the surgery right away if not she would go blind. I do not recommend this doctor at all. He graduated from Vietnam and didn’t have any training in U.S. Please do not take your family members to see him for any health issues.

I wholeheartedly agree with Janet. Please for the well-​being and sake of your family Do not go to this doctor! There are so many good doctors out there and dr. Chau isn’t one of them. Recently one of my family member went to get a checkup and he misdiagnosed the person. He indicated that nothing was wrong when there was something serious going on. He even prescribed the wrong medication. What kind of doctor does that? The kind that’s greedy for money, careless, irresponsible, selfish, and someone with no conscience. Right after my family member came home, that person had to be taken to the ER. He was diagnosed with something serious that almost cost him his life.
How can a doctor misagnosed someone and live with that? If he’s a decent person he would be able to sleep at night. I don’t recommend anyone to go to this doctor ever! Patients should be number one priority. Without patients he wouldn’t be able to make a living. Instead he disrespect patients, is rude to them and yell at them when they come to see him. He doesn’t have the heart and mind to be in the medical field. I’m very upset and feel that he shouldn’t even be call dr. for that matter. God have eyes and I know karma will get the best of him. You have been warned! Please stay away from this doctor! It will save your life!
