History
Established in 2010.
We’re a mom and pop shop that was started by a mom who lost the pop.
Saigon 22 is named after the owner Kim’s birthplace, and 22, her favorite number. We may sound like every other Vietnamese place in the valley, but we are super customer-oriented. If there’s anything we can do, or a dish you’d like, please just let us know! We are happy to make you happy.
Thanks!
Meet the Business Owner
Kim T.
Business Owner
Originally from Saigon, Kim immigrated alone to the United States during the Vietnam War, when she was just a teenager. She reunited with her family in Rosemead, and years later moved to Little Rock, Arkansas where she ran a successful Chinese restaurant for 16 years with her husband Peter.
After Peter’s death from lung cancer in 2006, she moved back to Rosemead to be close to her family, and to pursue a new restaurant. She loves the buzz of working in the food industry. She works every single day, so say hi.
