Ride the Wind is a horse riding and boarding facility located in Rosenberg and convenient to Fort Bend County Fairgrounds, Richmond, Needville, Guy and Damon. We offer Western riding lessons for beginners to advanced riders, young and old. Our students successfully compete in Fort Bend County Youth Rodeo Association (FBCYRA), Texas Youth Rodeo Association (TYRA), Rusty Spurs Riding Club and various play days. However competition is not required and many of our students and boarders ride just for recreational purposes.

We also offer full boarding for up to 44 horses. Having problems making your horse do what you want it to do? We can help fine tune your horse to improve your riding experience. Horse training isn’t only beneficial for you, but helpful to your horse as well.

Business Owner

Bill started his career with horses at a young age by working on a ranch where he learned to break and train horses. He then spent 15 years on the rodeo circuit as a rodeo clown. Fast forward a few years and Bill found himself once again immersed in rodeo happenings as he travelled the state watching his own son compete.

After honing his own horsemanship skills, those of his son and now his grandson, Bill has found a passion in sharing his knowledge with others. He stresses horsemanship over everything else and sees each situation as an opportunity to gain new knowledge and understanding of horses.
