History

Established in 1996.

Started Teaching Montessori in 1989 in San Francisco, then opening Arden Montessori school in 1996 and expanding to open Arbor View Montessori in the Roseville area in 2006.

Arbor View is a very nice preschool. My daughter went there for 2 years. The teachers are very good at what they do and really look after the kids. My daughter enjoyed her time there. I am very happy with their services, so much that now my 2 year old son will be starting there soon.

We work with Arbor View Montessori as physical education program, and this school by far has the BEST structure and behavior of the students. The students are very happy, and very cooperative and very advanced for their ages. The class is always clean and very organized. The staff is very welcoming, and they really care about each of the students wellness, and development. The director is very kind hearted, caring, and compassionate, and is highly educated. She’s aware of each individual students capability and developmental needs. The director is been very supportive of my program and inspired me to be a better buisness, and a better person. Thank you Lydia for everything you do!

While my wife and I are both huge proponents of the montessori teaching methodology we were very disappointed in Arbor View as our first venture into montessori. The adminstration of the school is unorganized and we both found it very difficult to get simple questions answered. While the staff Director appears to consider herself a disciplinarian, her approach is one that we often viewed as belittling the children as opposed to building up through constructive support. Our daughter only attended the summer program and that was all we needed to swiftly remove her from the school and enroll her back in the Roseville pre-school system where we had a much better experience. I would strongly NOT recommend this school to family or friends.
