At the scheduled arrival time after 45 minutes after the call they cancelled through my roadside assistance. I have used them before with no issues so that is why I am giving 2 stars instead of 1. Now I have to have a new call placed with another tow company.

After 4 hours of waiting for two other towing companies, we contacted H&L towing. The driver let me know that Folsom isn’t generally in their area but he would help us because of the dissatisfying amount of time we already had to wait. He arrived quickly, worked fast and was very nice. We are extremely grateful to Zack at H&L Towing for having amazing customer service and being an awesome person. Thank you Zack!!!

My car broke down and they came very quickly less than 30 mins the driver was extremely nice. Hopefully I’ll never need their services again lol but if I do I’ll call here again

Tonight my car broke down and my Road side assistance sent HNL towing to the rescue. The driver was a no nonsense, get the job done, man of few words but he took excellent care of my car. I didn’t need a sparkling personality, I just needed my car towed in a professional manor and that is what I got. He got there fast so I didn’t have to wait for long (of course my car had to break down and a rather seedy area). Great company that I would trust my car with again !!!

I wish I could give no stars. The man who is the owner/​manager is an absolute psycho. The rudest most unprofessional nut job I have ever dealt with.
I sold a nonrunning car for parts last Sept. I sent in my release of liability and didn’t think about it again till a couple months ago. I got a notification the car was still registered to me and had started getting parking tickets in April (apparently the seller had got it running!) I spent forever trying to get this sorted out. In the end DMV said either my release of liability had been lost in the mail or missed somehow. I did another release of liability online. Which I printed out and screen shot.
Fast forward to now, I get my mail and there is a notice of stored vehicle. H and L towing apparently towed the car, and for some reason it was still showing up under my name. So this morning I call and talk to who I assume is an office worker/​receptionist. I tell her the down low and she tells me they need the release of liability. I say OK. Can I just email you a screen shot of it right now to get this taken care asap or do I need a paper copy? She puts me on hold and this is where things go south fast, a man gets on the phone and is immediately rude, refuses to listen to me, talks over me, starts yelling at me and said I was just trying to pull something to get out of paying and hung up on me! I called back and he immediately started yelling at me again, so then I start yelling back and start crying, then he hangs up on me again. I waited a awhile and called back again. Thank god the woman answered this time, she told me «they can only take a paper copy, and. «then the guy gets back on the line (!) yelling again, saying I need to shut my mouth and listen and I was rude etc. I tried not to respond then got quiet and waited till he was done ranting. I waited and then asked if I can just mail it in. The gal was still on the line and said yes I can just mail it in, or bring it down. Thank you! That is all I needed to know!
This guy should probably be locked in a mental institution. I’m sure his life is awful because if you treat people like that they are going to get upset and every situation is going to escalate, then he probably feels like he has to deal with assholes all day poor him. Ya right. Awful experience.

Fantastic service and communication. These guys went the extra mile to help me out. A so called reputable car dealer tried to rip me off and charge me for unnecessary repairs. They tried to blame the tow truck driver. H&L was on the phone backing me up, got the charges reversed with apologies. Can’t thank H&l enough. Can’t recommend H&L enough, won’t ever recommend the dealership. H&L showed integrity and honesty.

Had a very nice guy come put my spare tire on for me and even filled it with air because it was low. He was fast and professional.

Terrible customer service. Came by to pick up my car and was told to be there by 3:30 in order to not be charged for second day storing! I arrived at 3:20, the guy started doing paperwork a couple minutes after 3:30 and charged me the next 24 hours! He had the stupidest excuse, saying the computer made him charge the second day. Bullshit. Would not recommend this company to anyone! And the place is so ratchet, very unprofessional.

Terrible service. Said they would come assist me in 30 minutes. Then called and said they got another call from the police and were going to that first. Just because they get more business from the police shouldn’t make me less important.

H and L. Towing made me wait 3 hours to just unlock my car. They kept taking «emergency» calls above mine. Would NOT recommend this company.

Beware, they take advantage of the situation! My son was in a pretty serious accident and they towed his car into their yard without giving him a clear choice, nice way to make money on the back of a teenager who was still in shock and not fully aware of the situation! Then we are forced to pay overnight storage and towing services to get it to our house. They charge $ 190/​hr for their services, however towing is a bit more reasonable, $ 80 for Roseville. The heavy set office girl called me «rude» because I challenged their ethics… They were slamming me in the face with what the law says with no regards to individual, morals or ethics. Their auctions speak by themselves. They know that you have a choice on where to take your car and not into their storage to make more money. They suppose to ask the registered owner, if he/​she is Not in Shock and able to communicate in a clear state of mind, on where to deliver your vehicle and not leave it to their «best advice», it is your right to clearly know your options, for which my son was not fully aware, however was nice to charge us about $ 350 for the whole «service» even though we live very close to them. Lesson learned, people beware.
The only good thing was the driver who delivered the car to us was very professional and nice, I would give him 5 stars, however the company is the opposite.
Hope it helps other people to make educated decisions.

My tow truck driver Steven was very professional and made a bad night at least tolerable. Quick service, great customer service. He was very careful with my Cadillac which is pretty low to the ground and got in on the flatbed with no problems. I will be using them again today for a tow to the shop!

I’ve used the services of H&L three times: twice for lockout service (once was on New Year’s Day!) and once for towing. All three times William came out to assist me. He was always super friendly and professional. I highly recommend H&L Towing!

My car wouldnt start but my dash lights were coming on so geico referred me to H and L Towing. The tow truck driver tried to jump my car and miscrossed the positive and negative cables and it start sparking and smoking so i asked him about it he said it would be fine. I just wanted to make a note of it so he said to call their office. I did about 10 minutes later but he must have called 1^st because the person was rude already knew about it and said it didnt happen. Now the lights inside wnt even come on. I will NEVER do business with this company their customer service is shameful.

Seems like they were there in minutes. William the driver was very professional and was very gentle putting my 2002 Tahoe on the truck. We were waiting for a ride from a relative and he said he wouldn’t leave until our ride arrived. What a nice guy. One thing thou William definitely needs a new hat. LOL. Thanks for the great service.
