I have become a disappointed patron of Jimboy’s Taco Franchise. In the past two years, quality and quantity is lacking. And, each location is different in taste!!! Too expensive for what you get!!!

Cheap tacos, cheap food, cheap area, cheap pay kicks that workers get, everything is cheap haha. There is no drive thru so that kinda sucks but it’s alright. They’re also hiring right now as well

This Jimboys is actually really nice! The people that work here are very nice and accommodating to everyone including kids. My kids always order very particular picky things and they always get it right! They take coupons if you have them and the pricing isn’t too bad :) I love their daily specials ;)

Good customer service, but the food is not anything special. … significantly over priced for the quality, and the amount of meat used. … $ 9.34 for a bean burrito, and a drink is a horrible deal, especially if you need to get up and get it from the counter. … I just remembered why I don’t come here often. …

Love some Jimboys Tacos! They have great quesadillas, enchiladas and tacos! Service is always courteous and prompt also. I definitely recommend!

Went here for lunch today and I haven’t been to a jimboys in a long long time. Entered and place seemed clean and employees seem were nice and approachable. It wasn’t too crowded… They had a decent selection of food… But my coworker ordered the special which was a stuffed burrito plate which comes with rice, refried beans, and a small salad. I ordered the combination plate with two hard tacos with refried beans, rice, and a small salad. Everyday at jimboys there is a special(Monday-Sunday). My food was decent… Nothing to really get excited for. My tacos were only okay… Taco shell was greaser than normal, beans and rice was just okay… But it’s eatable and wasn’t terrible. I would give it another shot and maybe order something different. I still enjoy Taco Bell and dos coyotes better!

My kids and I love Jimboy’s! We went there on Saturday and as usual it was delicious. However, I was super bummed to realize they raised the price on their 12 pack of tacos. That being said, my kids loved their lunch and it’s awesome that my 2 year old loves the tacos because he is super picky and hates most everything. I love this location better than some of the others nearby. Will definitely come back, just not as often since they raised the price!

Hands down best taco place in town. I especially favor their carnitas burritos, and my wife loves the regular ground beef tacos! The service is quick, employees are polite, and our orders are always filled correctly. The condiment trays are clean, generous, extensive, and vary from mild to very hot! We always pick Jimboy’s when we want good Mexican food!

This is a restaurant where you have to know the menu. Somethings are done very well, and others are so-so. I love the tacos, burritos, and taco salad. A bit pricey, but you can’t find a better taco in the area

Worst of all the Jimboys! I got a12 pack of tacos. 6 of them had no cheese sprinkled on them(my favorite part). The other 6 shells were not cooked. I will go out of my way moving forward to go to another Jimboys nearby.

Two stars for the good service. Minus 3 stars for the tiny bean burrito that cost me $ 3.11! Yes that’s right, what a rip. Tiny & hardly any cheese. I could have bought 3 $ 1. bean burritos at Taco Bell. I remember when their bean burritos were huge! Of course as years go by, food portions get smaller at restaurants & prices go up, but this was NOT a good value. I was gypped. I got one at another Jimboy’s recently & it was not this tiny. I’m still hungry!

Great tacos as always… Beans taste like paste though. Blech. I should have stuck to the ground beef tacos. Their food is getting more expensive too… 4 tacos and a small bean and ground beef burrito for $ 15… Ouch.

Location, good. Plenty of parking, neighborhood is okay/safe. Inside: Clean Staff: Nice and accommodating, and although English is not their first language, they had no problem understanding my changes. Food: LOVED. I ordered the #7 taco plate. I had fish tacos with no beans(they gave me extra rice instead). the taco itself and the fish were crispy. The fish was not greasy. The Salad was refreshing. The toppings in my taco were perfect. Not too much of anything. I also ordered a side of fries. Delicious. I don’t understand the reviews who compare this place to Taco Bell, they are definitely a step up. And half their menu you can’t even get at taco bell.

I LOVE the Parmesan cheese sprinkled on my tacos. It’s how my Mom(bless her soul) made them at home. Jim«Jimboy» Knudson — you’re not the first person to use Parmesan cheese on tacos! I’m just sayin’ This Roseville location is always clean, and a most friendly staff. Since I’m a Jimboy fan, I’ve been to maaaanny locations from Auburn, Mid-town to South-Sac! My chicken taco is consistent at all the places I’ve been. But hands down, this little gem on Sunrise/Cirby is the cleanest.

Went here for dinner because we had a coupon we got and glad we tried it. The food is Mexican American style and there are also burgers on the menu too! There’s a good selection, but our coupon was for burritos, so we tried those! We got carnitas and shredded beef in our burritos! There are also like 4 options you can have your burrito too! Super cool! We had super burritos which just means they have the works but red or verde sauce on top. Our cashier was so nice too and knew alot about the menu items. When I told her I didn’t want any cheese on mine, she asked me was it a dairy allergy because she can take the sour cream off! That was very thoughtful and good customer service! We ate in, and got our food in good time. The shredded beef was so tender and the seasoning tasted like home made pot roast! The carnitas were delicious too! The burritos were smaller than most«super» burritos I’ve had before, but it wasn’t traditional Mexican food, more american style. Really loved the food, prices, deal, and customer service! =]

I have to say, at first I wasnt a big fan of Jimboys. But, I ordered a burrito that was absolutely amazing and my mind was changed. I also got the churros and shared a quesodilla with my boyfriend. The only thing that I didnt like about this location is that it gets really busy and there is generally only one person working the register. Also, the bathroom door didnt lock properly and some lady walked in on me.

I don’t eat Taco Bell preferring the taquerias of the Mission any day over the fast food Mexican fare but when I’m visiting these parts of Sacramento, I have to stop in at Jimboys for a taco. Always fresh, always crisp and the meat seasoned just right, Jimboys knows tacos! First!
