Lanitech WEB Design, Inc. has been delivering quality, visually appealing websites for over 15 years. The firm was founded by David and Vanessa Lane in 1996 with the philosophy that not only should a website be highly-​organized and function properly, but it should always look spectacular!

Successful websites are designed and created from our team of individuals who have mastered their particular piece of the web design and development process. Our team members are comprised of highly-​skilled and experienced individuals who work together in a cohesive team-​oriented environment. The result is a product that reflects the efforts of talented professionals who take great pride in their work.

Our approach and project implementation was developed with the client in mind, which allows us to be an excellent one-​stop-​shop for web site design and development. No project is too small or too large for our group of experienced web designers, graphic artists, and program developers.

With the explosion of the internet in the late 1990’s the founder, Vanessa Lane, quickly comprehended how this new technology would forever change the way business was conducted. With her extensive background in Information Technologies, marketing, and graphic art, coupled with an entrepreneurial spirit, became a perfect marriage of creativity and technical skills to form Lanitech Web Design.

After attending College, Vanessa began her career as a Conference & Project Manager working for a local Workers’ Compensation Insurance Company, where she managed high-​level executive events throughout the United States. These events included corporate company seminars, leadership forums, Board of Director’s meetings and retreats, banquets, and special events such as golf tournaments and trade shows. Everything from the food, slideshows, marketing materials, brochures, and keynote speakers — all were in her hands to orchestrate quite extravagant events for hundreds of clients and executives

I spent 2 years dealing with Lanitech for a site that was supposed to be made in a 6 month contract. I never did get to the end of my site. I had to pull the plug because it’s like pulling teeth getting them to do anything. You’ll have to repeat yourself over and over. Their programmers don’t listen to you and they’ll make countless errors. Every single page I had to go back and forth with them; no page went smooth. I suspect they hire cheap overseas programmers that don’t work on your project very hard. It’s like they choose to work on your site after weeks pass by. The update you get will have countless errors.
I can’t recommend Lanitech to anyone if your site has any kind of complicated programming. Save yourself the years of headaches.

Worst company ever.
9 months to do a 3 month job. Missed deadline after deadline.
Owner (Vanessa) doesn’t know the difference between Java & Javascript. Owner charges US prices, but hires overseas programmers where’s there’s lots of language issues and very junior skill level.
Uses templates that are reminiscent of the 90’s. AJAX has been huge in designing web pages since the mid 2000’s, but they use very little of it.
Doesn’t keep up with today’s web standards. Doesn’t even follow the standards of the template system they’re using.
They do a VERY poor job of listening to their clients needs. Even when it’s in writing.
They also don’t have anyone in charge of verifying the pages do what they are supposed to do, leaving it to the customer to do that part of the job for them.
They will make good on any errors on their part (contractually bound), but you will spend countless hours getting them to make it right.
This is what they are good at: They will take a framework/​template that already does what you need, change the wording & graphics, and set the built-​in options, then give it back to you. Charging you $ 1000’s for just a few hours of work.
For those that don’t understand templates, think of it as an MS Word doc template that’s used for property leasing. You download the template, then just change the name, address, and other details. Now you have a lease that’s all yours. It’s about the same thing with web templates.

I’ve used Lanitech for my webdesign and all related services since 2005. I can’t say enough good things about the company and their services. I highly recommend them. They are super knowledgeable and friendly. Whenever I need any changes or have any questions, they are quick to get back to me and are extremely helpful. They’re SEO services have also been great too. Give them a call, you won’t regret it. I’ve referred them to so many people and everyone that has used them have been more than pleased.

Vanessa Lane with Lanitech Web Design helped me to bring my website vision to reality. She is a delight to work with, and has always been available with my questions and help requests over the years. I also appreciate her kind ways and patience especially with my ongoing questions. Her knowledge and problem-​solving skills are amazing.
One of her virtues I enjoyed while working through the details is that she is open to my ideas and listened to what my hopes were for the website. And at the same time, she’s proactive in bringing any possible issues forward, so we didn’t have to spend additional monies on fixes. Vanessa and her team are true professionals, and we appreciate their support and care in developing and maintaining our website. She takes very good care us and we are grateful!

I cannot imagine that anything in David B’s review is even remotely close to being true. After being burned a few years ago by flaky MIA web designers, I spent a few months researching local web site designers. I interviewed 3 in person and chose Lanitech for a number of reasons: 1.) the prices were affordable 2.) the portfolio of past work was impressive and 3.) they had a brick and mortar office so I knew where to find them (past designers were working out of their mom’s basements– I’m pretty sure.)
I contracted with Lanitech to build
and was absolutely THRILLED with the service I received from Vanessa and her team. She was always open to meeting me in person, spent hours of extra time teaching me how to do things on my own and wowed me with the timeliness of the project and the perfection of the finished site.
Since our first build, I have used Vanessa and Lanitech for 4 subsequent websites:

and have referred everyone I know to her and her team. Currently our own clients are using Lanitech for a build based on my referral and they couldn’t be more pleased. Lanitech not only built all of my sites but hosts them as well. Vanessa is there at a moments notice if I have a question, need something changed and proactively contacts me if something goes wrong. I could not possibly recommend Vanessa Lane and Lanitech anymore enthusiastically.
And just as an aside– in all the time I’ve been working with Vanessa, I’ve never met her husband (who I’m sure is just as lovely a person as she is) and $ 2000.00 for a custom build optimized for SEO is one H-​E-​double hockey-​sticks of a deal there, David B…

I contacted Lanitech on behalf of friend who needed a website designed and hosted. I had looked at their site to get an idea of their capabilities, and it all looked really good. I spoke with Vanessa at Lanitech and outlined what my friend was looking for. Vanessa said that it wouldn’t be difficult (or terribly expensive, fortunately) and asked for my friend’s contact info.
After I got a look at the preliminary site design I was very pleasantly surprised at how professional it looked, and how easy to navigate the whole thing was. Clearly, Vanessa knew what she was doing. The cost ended up being quite reasonable, and whenever there were any changes or updates needed, it was always handled quickly without fuss or drama.
