Business Owner

Neil started installing car audio in 1990 when wiring up home stereo speakers into his mothers car for some extra bass. For 10 years he continued his education working at Radio Shack, Good Guys and eventually joining the Marine Corps. In 1998 he moved to Sacramento and after working a full time day job and installing on the weekends he decided it was time to dedicate his talent to Car Audio full time. In 2000 Neil started as a mobile business for two years, in 2002 he moved to an awesome location on Arden Way in Sacramento and built his client base and reputation for clean, honest and professional installations. In August of 2008 Neil opened up a second location in Roseville, Ca and has expanded his business and knowledge with many Corvette and Lexus installs under his belt. Now with just the Roseville store Neil is more dedicated than ever to the future of Car Audio and bringing the best experience possible to his loyal and future customers.

Neil installed a stereo and speakers in my truck and they did an awesome job. Their pricing was good and their service was great.
I had a rattle in my dash and the Ford dealer blamed it on the stereo. Neil removed the stereo so the dealer could verify that the stereo wasn’t the problem. After the dealer fixed the rattle Neil put the stereo back in; which took quite a while, and didn’t charge me a penny! That’s incredible service.
I’ve head Rolling Audio work on our boats and other vehicles and have always done a great job.

I was told the price for a stereo installed was a little over $ 400. It was $ 118 over!!! Not fair business practices. I do not recommend.

Neil has worked on two of my vehicles. He would have worked on more if time/​money allowed. Neil goes above and beyond the call of duty. His teams attention to detail is very good. I have had them do everything between troubleshooting and fixing a system done elsewhere that was not done properly to purchasing a full system and install of a full system. Very pleased with their work and will be back when my life decides to give me some free time.

I went here to get a blown speaker replaced that was in my front car door and the guy told me it would cost me a $ 100 to install the speaker because I didn’t buy the speaker from him. $ 80 to install speaker if i bought the speaker from him. Best Buy will install the one speaker for $ 40. I guess you know where I went with my business. I should of went to Best Buy in the first place.

Had my car stolen, and luckily it was recovered. Knew I couldn’t let it go a single night without a car alarm with a kill switch. I live in Roseville and saw Rolling Audio was close by, had great reviews on Unilocal so I figured I’d try it. The owner helped me sort through all the alarm options and I got a very cool Python system that is very similar (sister company) to Viper alarms. This thing does warning beeps if someone even gets near your windows to peak in. It also sounds those warning beeps to my remote on my keychain even if I’m up to a mile away. Another cool feature is the remote start. Neal also helped me update my audio system to include blue tooth and now I can connect my iPhone wirelessly to my sound system and I even updated the speakers. My car is pretty cool now, and actually has 175k miles and with these updates and alarm it should be around for a long time so I can put on another 175k miles.

GREAT SERVICE! I needed some gps tracking devices installed on some of my work trucks. So I called, asked a few questions, and scheduled it. I dropped the trucks off and they told me it would be done in about 1 ½ hrs and sure enough they were done when they said. Rolling audio knows what they are doing — plus they are honest and provide great service.

I’m not sure why people are giving rave reviews for this place based off of customer service. The service I received this weekend to install my new stereo was just average at best.
I came here because of all the great Unilocal reviews. Sorry to say you guys missed the mark here.
When it was done, the plastic molding around the cd player was NOT pushed all the way in Things were loose and did not look correct. I’ve had numerous systems installed in my hay days from SOUND SYSTEM in Santa Clara and boy they take pride in the quality to make sure everything looked great, clean and was installed properly.
Paid $ 140 and it was surely not worth it. They wanted to charge another $ 100+ to connect the current steering wheel controls to the system. Supposedly a very difficult programming job for them or something. Like if they don’t do a lot of Prius or any other cars that have steer wheel stereo controls. Come on.
Sorry, but I’m not coming back here. I’d rather drive the 2.5 hrs to get this done a place that cared more.

My stock stereo had zero FM reception and I just wanted something basic to replace it with. Gary was a great help, didn’t push me towards something more than I needed and set me up with what I needed. The service was done on time and looks great. Overall I was very satisfied and would highly recommend Rolling Audio.

I had Neil and his crew upgrade my audio system. I went from a standard set of 12’s and 500 rms + some fills to a dual battery H/​O Alt 2200rms set of Custom Tantrics + fills.
I brought all my own gear so it was labor only + some custom beauty box work for the 2nd battery and the sealed box. Neil went over the pricing with me and the install questions in PM’s for a couple of months before hand. Spent plenty of time answering questions. He’s a great guy and I loved the fact he was willing to spend so much time nailing everything down before hand. I had the main amp on a board and they put all the distribution boxes for power and ground and fill amp and wiring on the back side for a super clean install. The 2nd battery went in it’s own carpeted beauty box so no ugly battery poking out.
I gave them my car for the week and dropped in a couple of times to make sure we were on the same page. If you’re not involved in your install don’t blame the company if it doesn’t turn out right. Neil spent plenty of time going over any questions I had and made sure I was comfortable with what he was doing. The work turned out great and his willingness to adjust a couple of things to my satisfaction was super. Turned out one of the subwoofers had mechanical issues so he spent time putting in a new one the vendor dropped off in and charged me a minimal fee. Super happy with the work and the staff great bunch of people including his wife who works just as hard on the business side as they do on installs.
I would recommend them to someone without hesitating. I have included a couple of pictures. The carpet looks different colors in the amp picture but it’s just bad lighting on my part the colors matched pretty good.

I recently bought a 1994 Subaru Impreza with a crappy radio in it. After a few days I decided it had to be taken care of and I set up an appointment here. I supplied my own speakers and deck and just had them install it. Neil behind the counter was very nice and got my car started right away, he told me it would be about two or three hours. 45 minutes later they were done! Two guys on it and they had it all set to go in no time at all. What a world of difference having a good stereo in a car makes. They did such a nice job, and I will definitely be back should I need any more audio done on my cars! A+ thank you!

Well let me just start of my saying talking about cars is like talking Chinese to me. I’ve been trying to figure out what was wrong with my radio system for a while. Changed the radio, that didn’t work. Bought a new amp and decided to take it here to install.
They said to being it right over. At first he said I just needed a new fuse and he changed it for free. But the sound was still off so I went back and asked if he could take a closer look. After inspecting the speakers and radio he decide it was indeed the amp. So he installed the amp and had to rewire the whole car. Cost me about 200. More than I thought but at that point I was so happy just to have my music back.
Unfortunately after I left I noticed a noise when I revved up the car. I was out of town and then sick so I couldn’t go back for two weeks. When I came back the mechanic was a bit hesitant to take a look but he did anyway after I asked. He fixed that problem but I guess the bass wire on the amp got loose and I couldn’t hear the bass anymore.
Next day I call the owner and explain the problem. I didn’t want to pay another $ 20 to take a look at it and was getting upset. They were so cool and I didn’t want to leave a bad review. He told me to bring it over and in two seconds he plugged the wire that was loose and my music was back. Not to mention it’s Christmas Eve. He was very professional and I also got a free aux cable for checking in.
Thank you so much for dealing with me several times. I will be back to get my new speakers put in.

I went in to purchase 0⁄1 AWG power cable for ARC audio amp and other high end audio equipment. After a conversation with Neil the owner I decided on 4 G. He could have easily sold me the 0 and made more profit. Neil also offer to tune my system after I installed. Took my car back and Neil took time of his day to tune my system and teach me some basics of tuning for no cost. Needless to say all my future car audio purchases will be at Rolling Audio.

Love Rolling Audio, best place I know to get car audio work, for the best quality at the best price. Not only that but Neil also is a great guy and will help even if you just have questions or working on projects on your own. He knows his stuff!
I just recently had them install my subs and amp in my 2013 Hyundai Veloster and I couldn’t be happier. Sounds great, clean work, and my car warranty isn’t voided. Haha.
But if you need a quote, install or just questions, Rolling Audio is your best bet in Sacramento for the price and quality. And great employees all around, great people!
Ill definitely be back to have the stock door speakers replaced with better ones. Hopefully sooner than later. =)

Awesome customer service! Brought in my 03 suburban to add a new deck unit as my original finally quit working. Added a pioneer with Sirius and Bluetooth. Couldn’t be happier. Also fed me when I was there! Jillian is so nice!
Had to bring unit back in when I noticed that the Sirius cut out every once in a while They repositioned the antenna right then and there for me.
