I was craving a cheese burger for days now. Ordering it from here was a big mistake. I expected the burger not perfect (cause obviously this is not a burger place) but not terrible either.
I can barley see the lettuce. Tomatoes and onions were cut to small pieces like if they were picked out of a plate of salad, moist and wet. The meat (the most important part) was so cheap. Not only that! The meat was thin, flat and super dry. All I tasted was BURNT!
I wanted to scream from disappointment. Waste of TIME, waste of excitement and waste of money.
After taking one bite out of this sad burger I didn’t want to eat the whole day. So upset!

This place is terrible it’s not worth getting anything on this menu service sucks and food is just as bad these ppl are not afraid to argue w/​you if you have something to say about their food better off going to Roslindale house of pizza it only about 2 blocks away

Got one of their menus in the mailbox, which I normally would throw out. Decided to give it a try the following day. I ordered a chicken salad sub and a falafel and hummus wrap for my boyfriend. The chicken salad was totally dripping in mayo but what annoyed me most was the fact that I become sick from the sandwich, to the point of throwing up! Needless to say I will never be ordering from this place again.

Nope, didnt even give it a chance. Came here with my sister after hearing her rave about it. First thing I notice as I walk in is the cook sucking on his fingers while he’s eating something. My sis still decided to order. He didnt wash his hands or use gloves but proceeded to pick up the burger patty with his bare hands, gross. Will never come here again.

Wow! seriously bad delivery. I ordered a pizza, buffalo fries, and tiramisu. The pizza was doughy and the fries were soggy. I had selected their thin crust option, but the crust was more like a loaf of undercooked bread. I ordered onions on the pizza and they went a bit crazy. The whole thing was piled with onions while there was just a dusting of cheese. The fries had to be re-​cooked. They were so soggy they were close to mashed potato sticks! Of course it wasn’t cheap either. Tiramisu wasn’t terrible. They might be better on site, but definitely not worth ordering delivery.

this place is great! the family that owns it are super friendly the food is always really good!
I love their jalepeno poppers, buffalo chicken, veggie calzone and their hummus is the best!!!
They also sell cute little cakes and pints of ben and jerry’s!
They even added quesadillas to their menu. so boring is definitely something they are not!

I live in Jamaica Plain and this is my favorite place to order delivery from. It’s pretty fast, the food is decent and it’s relatively affordable.
I usually get the chicken parm sub or the pasta with broccoli. I really like both. I’ve also had the burger and buffalo fries before. The buffalo fries were delicious.
Delivery to my house usually takes around 45 minutes and is pretty accurate with what they tell you when you order.

Easy, cheap, and convenient. Lolz, Not a place I’d recommend for often consumption but every once in a blue not bad.

I just can’t anymore. I’ve ordered from here a bunch of times and it just gets worse every time.
Past 3 orders, something has been replaced by a thing we didn’t order. When I called one time because of a huge price difference between what I ordered (more expensive) and what I got, they refused to refund me the difference. I had to call the online company, who assured me that the restaurant could have and should have handled it.
This time, wrong food, and the food we got was really overcooked. The chicken tenders were black with burn and the pizza had no sauce to speak of. I’m done. I really tried to support the local guy, but this is just too vile.

Service is questionable, but the chicken tenders are absolutely delicious with seasoning that is just perfect! The burgers are also big, but the buns are gigantic compared to the patty and you’re filled up on the bread.

the day after a blizzard, it was about 0 degrees and the roads were all still pretty terrible. i ordered at about 8:00, it was delivered fifteen minutes later, by a friendly delivery driver. the pizza was very delicious, and exactly what i had hoped for. even if they were terrible every other day of the year, i would keep ordering from this place just because of this experience

Online Ordering system was pretty cool, the Caesar salad was horrible and the calzone was more bread than anything else, Driver forgot my soda which made my first experience not very eventful in addition to Him asking me to pay them after I had already used online system will stick with Roslindale House of pizza moving forward! On a positive note the chicken wings were pretty good for game time!

Mediocre and boring. Mediterranean wrap was chicken and lettuce with feta. No fixings on the burger. When I asked what was in the gyro they said «whatever you want.» Delivery was on time. Won’t be ordering from here again.
Also, what does it matter if the people are nice? I don’t order food delivery to speak to nice people, I want good food.

Ordered from this place today because I heard there pizza was not bad. They completely messed up the entire. Charged me $ 30 for the wrong pizza and a saggy salad. When we called to let them know they gave us the wrong pizza I got major attitude on the phone and they refused to send the right pizza. I have tried many pizza places in boston, ny, mia, internationally and this is hands down the worst service and the worst pizza and salad I have ever eaten… I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. I had the chicken kabab salad and it was gross. If there was a zero star opition I would give it to them.

Anyone who thinks this place has good customer service must be a serious masochist. Like, ball-​gag/​asphyxiation serious. I had one of the worst customer experiences ever here. At the end of the day, and after a whole bunch of unnecessary arguing, these people finally refunded my money for their screw up. BUT, it was way more effort than it should have been. They messed up. No big deal, it happens. But when it does, you apologize and either give a refund immediately or deliver a replacement. Easy. Instead, here’s what happened.
We ordered a pizza, half sausage and half eggplant. We were specific that we wanted eggplant on one side, sausage on the other. When the pizza arrived, it had both ingredients on both sides, making it a sausage and eggplant pizza. Nothing half about it. When we called to ask for a replacement pizza, the girl who took our order initially (and repeated, sausage on one side, eggplant on the other during that order) said they’d deliver a new one and make it right. Cool.
An hour later, no pizza. So I called again and asked for the status of the pizza. The girl hung up on me when I asked where the pizza was. Mind you, I was being way more polite than I logically should have been at this point. I called back again and a man picked up. When I said that we were promised a new pizza, he proceeded to *argue* with me and said that my vegetarian girlfriend should, «PICK OFF THE SAUSAGE AND EAT THE PIZZA ANYWAY.» Seriously. It was kind of hilarious. After I laughed at him and said that was ridiculous, I requested a refund. He put «the owner» on the phone, who spoke no English. It was an extremely frustrating experience, obviously.
Apart from the positively atrocious customer service experience, the food was thoroughly forgettable. The pizza was dry. The jalapeño poppers arrived cold and were pretty boring. The Caesar salad was the standout of the meal, which didn’t take much. But to its credit, the lettuce was crisp and the croutons were substantial. Apart from that one acceptable dish, the rest of the meal and experience as a whole was an enormous turd.

I ordered a chicken caesar salad and some fries to be delivered.
Got there a couple minutes later after estimated delivery time on grub hub, and everything seemed to be there. Salad was fine, fries were cooked, nothing bad to say.

The quality of food here is much like any tiny neighborhood places of Fenway or Roslindale. You won’t be getting anything spectacular or memorable.
Here’s my story:
Order $ 35 of food using Foodler. Arrive 35 minutes later. Food not even started. Wait another 25 minutes. Neither chicken fingers nor poppers come with ranch. Only reason to order these items is to serve as vessel for ranch. Lady says she will give me ranch for $ 0.50. Seriously lady? You want another $ 0.50 out of me after making me wait and that these items should come with dressing already? Left with order. Get home. Unpack order. Cheese cake has mold on it. Missing two items. Pissed. Write review on Unilocal.
This is my fourth time ordering from here. My other experiences haven’t been much different.

I am a regular Foodler junkie, I use it several times a week for their delivery and I decided to try Seamless since they had this restaurant. After verifying my exact address and ordering food for my roommate and I, I was looking forward to the different food options they had. Everything was seamless, they charged my credit card for the order, and I was waiting for my food.
About 5 – 10 minutes later I get a phone call from the restaurant saying they cannot deliver to my address. When I mentioned that according to their delivery partner, it showed there was no problem delivering to my address. You can imagine my reaction, especially when you were hungry and looking forward to your food. I was willing to pay a little extra for the delivery, and it was triple their delivery minimum but no they were not looking to offer a solution to remedy the problem.
Whatever, maybe they have good food who knows but unfortunately I was disappointed by this experience and will I ever try it again or suggest it? Not at all.
There’s businesses that understand how to deliver great customer service and generate positive word of mouth even when it’s not in their capacity to render their product or service, and then there’s others that just go by the minimum required customer service. This establishment seems to fall in the latter, too bad.

I went here yesterday. I thought it was very meh– forgettable. That’s not to say it was bad nor was it good very middle of the road for me. I wanted to try it out since I pass by this place on a regular basis heading over to my client’s house. The reason I haven’t been here before is because of the sketchy people that hang around outside next door. I think next door is a Spanish barber shop.
The service was fast and friendly. The prices are reasonable. The décor is clean and welcoming. The food was alright. I had a gyro it was a bit dry. It wasn’t the worst I’ve ever had and it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had.
I do not think I will be a regular at this establishment. I will certainly not go out of my way to come here. But if I am in the area and I am starving then yeah, I will come here again but I won’t be jumping for a joy over it as the majority of the people that have reviewed this place.

This will probably be obvious in a couple days when Unilocal changes the info at the top of the page, but I thought that I should point out that they’ve changed their name from Blowfish to Arboreteum Grill. Same owners, same quality, same (almost) menu.
The ‘almost’ part is that in addition to all the great seafood, they are now offering pizza and calzones (as well as the burgers, wraps, etc they had previously). And instead of broiled seafood platters, they are now doing baked platters — had to make room for the pizza ovens (wife had the baked haddock last night and gives it two thumbs up).
As of late Jan 2011, new printed menus are on in the works. In the meantime, old menus/​prices are still in effect (plus you can get pizza et al if you ask).
Oh, and they’re the nicest group of folks you could hope to meet. This place is a gem for Greek takeout (especially seafood) or eat-​in super-​casual.

Update fall of 2013: Much as I hate to do it, I’ve had to revisit this review and down-​rate them (from my original 5-​star). I was hoping that the new owners would eventually get their act together but it’s been a year and they still seem unfocused and careless. Not bad food, but with other options nearby, it’s no longer worth giving them my business. It’s just not as good as it was with the original owners.
