David Holzman, Davey’s creator, has been performing as a professional clown in New England for over 30 years! He’s a physical comedian, juggler, unicyclist, magician, accordionist, and all around silly guy. And he has a Master’s Degree in Education!

History

Established in 1986.

International Appearances: Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina; Liuzhou and Shanghai, China; Nagasaki, Japan; Nordhorn, Germany; and soon: Kabul, Afghanistan. Local Appearances: Fenway Park, San Francisco New Vaudeville Festival, Faneuil Hall Marketplace, South Shore and Cape Cod Melody Tents, The Museum of Our National Heritage, the Coolidge Corner and Regent theaters.

Corporate clients include: The Boston Red Sox, Gillette Corporation, Children’s Hospital, NSTAR, Putnam Investments, Hill Holiday, Cambridge Savings Bank, Belmont Savings Bank, Constitution Yacht Charters, Pinebrook Country Club, The Cambridge Schools, Harvard University, Boston University, Tufts University, MIT, Wentworth Institute, and many more.

In addition to being a clown, Davey is a trained accordionist and has a Masters Degree in Elementary Education and Creative Arts in Learning from Lesley University.

Meet the Business Owner

David H.

Business Owner

In addition to being a clown, David Holzman, Davey’s creator, holds a BA degree in philosophy from The University of California at Santa Cruz, and a MA degree in Elementary Education from Lesley University. He’s also a graduate of the One Year Actor Training Program and the Advanced Actor Training Program at the Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theater in Blue Lake, CA.

He also received professional training as an accordionist from the Paul Monte Music Studio, in Wellesley, MA.

When he isn’t busy entertaining at parties, he can often be found at rubber chicken farms scouting new talent for his show. Don’t forget to ask about DAVEY’S famous Chicken on a Stick Trick!
