I feel like the quality of service and food have gone down. Stash’s is easy because it’s so close but I’m starting to question if it’s worth it. A couple of months ago my husband and I ordered pizza, fries, and a sandwich. The delivery guy brought the food but didn’t bring the sandwich. He said he would go back. My husband checked the rest of the order and the fries were cold and soaking wet. My husband called and they said the driver would come back with the sandwich and new fries. The driver came back with the sandwich but refused to give us the fries. So my husband called back. Long story short the only reason they are getting three stars is that they sent another driver with another set of fries and two pieces of cake.

They guys here are friendly, food is good, Paulina one of the owners is usually there and she seems to great everyone with a smile ;) Is a pizza place, what’s important about a pizza place? That the pizza is good! Period. Ingredients are good quality as is the pizza I go there almost three times a week and never get bored

There food is delicious if they can get your order correct, We been going there for a long time but when you call in a order the employee is doing two things at once and can’t get it correct, This has happened more then once. Normally I would give them a 5 star but there service has dropped, we give then easily over$ 120. A month. HP

Usually I love the food. But the order I placed came out sloppy and wrong. And it’s hard to enjoy your food Orr place a correct order with two young girls being obnoxious and rude and childish. They make fun of customer as they leave and the bickering is very annoying.

I mourned the passing of M J Pizza in 2013. I liked their pizza, I loved the cheese steaks, and the people were friendly. I don’t live in the ‘hood, so it took a while for me to try the new people, Stash’s. In a word, Yum. Walked in, the slices caught my eye. Better than MJ(sorry), and way better than Deno’s. It made this transplant from New Jersey very happy. But then came the confusion: the menu, and some of the people working there, seemed Greek! Now I have nothing against the Greeks, some of my best friends, etc. Actually, I love Greek food. I grew up near a city with many Greek owned restaurants, most of which had great food. However, I do not like what I call Greek Pizza. You know, the stuff served at {somewhere} House of Pizza. Pre-baked crust, sweet sauce, greasy cheese. These places usually make great salads and sandwiches, but not pizza. Stash’s is different. Aside from the Buffalo Chicken pizza(the blue cheese dressing should have been a warning), the pizzas have all been great. Salads are huge, fresh, and good. I had a chicken souvilaki sandwich. Plentiful cubes of chicken breast, almost too much to eat. I’m working my way to all the other Greek items, and they assure me the steak and cheese will be as good or better than MJ’s. I really wish Unilocal would rate restaurants separately on food and delivery. Too many places lose stars because people get enraged when they have delivery issues.

Pizzas are good, but I really like their salads. The grilled chicken, buffalo chicken, grilled buffalo chicken, and the crispy chicken are all really tasty. House dressing is good and they come with pita bread. One salad is enough for dinner with some leftover to spare. The wings are huge. They’re also breaded, which is good but does create a sogginess factor. I might just stick with the strips if I have a hankering for chicken things. Haven’t tried the sandwiches or dinners yet, but wouldn’t hesitate. I’ve had both delivery and pick up.

The first time I went to stash I got a cheese steak with onion and mushroom and it was excellent so a few days later I got another one and it totally was the opposite. The onions were chewy and tasted like they weren’t peeled properly so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and got it again and it was mediocre. Last week I got a chicken parm and I advise anyone ordering this sandwich not to from stash. The chicken was to thick and chewy. Sorry but im giving my honest opinion.

As the sun set tonight, ALL we wanted was a nice WELLDONE pie. What did I get? RAW!!! I ordered two pies tonight and only one was correct. This isn’t aeronautical science. They claim theres a replacement on the way. The jury’s out right now. Replacement pie will probably show up with spit in it. Doesn’t matter cause my neighbor is a crime lab tech for the state police and he’s the one that ordered the pie. Rating = 2 right now. Update coming upon replacement pie arrival and sanitary test.

I have visited the new Stash’s in Roslindale multiple times now. I am quite impressed with the food. A bit on the pricier side but it is worth it. I have had issues with dietary substitutions which I hope can be resolved in the future. However, for a fast food establishment the food is fresh and delicious. I would give 5 stars if I was not charged more for the necessary substations which I did not have an issue with when it first opened. If you like quality food, give them a try.

I live around the corner from Stash’s and I believe that they are A-Ok. We ordered the first week they were open, a large veggie pizza, and honestly it wasn’t great. I chalked it up to them just opening and getting the kinks worked out. Second time I ordered a calzone with chicken and black olives– they put Kalamata olives which was different but unfortunately they left the pit in one of them– nearly broke a tooth! Since then I’ve ordered 5 or 6 times more and each time they do get better and better. My favorite thing to order is their BBQ chicken pizza. It really is terrific. They are always pleasant when I go in to pick up and the food is always ready within the time they quote me on. This will definitely be our go-to pizza place.

Roslindale has a lot of pizza places, but was lacking a really good one. That changed when Stash’s opened. I didn’t have high hopes, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. My usual order is a Veggie Delight pizza with Pepperoni and delivery is within 30 minutes, though I do live within a mile of the place. They do not skimp on the toppings. When I first took the pizza box out of the delivery guy’s hands, I could not believe how heavy it was. Seriously loaded(and delicious) pizza. Now that they have online ordering, it’s even more convenient.

I live in the neighborhood and was cautiously optimistic when Stash’s opened. The food is good. We eat there about once a week. We’ve had the mushroom swiss burger, pizza, steak tips on caesar salad, eggplant parm sub, chicken fingers, the Beacon sandwich, fries, and probably a few other things in the last two months. The only thing we didn’t like was the hot veggie sub. The pizza has a nice crust and is better than most of the delivery places nearby. I also think the servings are big. Some other reviewers find the prices high, and I don’t agree. I think the prices are reasonable for the size of the portions. The small eggplant parm sub is two halves that are each 4 – 5 inches long. The small fry is a basket that easily feeds two. The specialty sandwiches are smaller than the subs — a typical sandwich size, and great for lunch. The counter staff are very nice. The guys in the back who we pass on the street are not very friendly, but they aren’t jerks, either.

The first time we ordered we were shocked at the price for what tasted of decent quality comparable to most sub shops in the area, they did make a substitution of bulkie till to sub roll for a sandwich for us so we were happy. fast forward to the second time we went to order, 5 – 6 items we were rudely told for one sandwich they do not substitute the bulkie for a sub roll(which they previously have) so we said all set, they called back a few minutes later wondering if we wanted the rest of the order(wow) and we politely declined

{ this review is for a delivery order … } Stash gets huge nerd props for having an online ordering system that includes payment so that I don’t have to talk to a human on a dodgy phone line. That alone adds Stash to the local delivery shortlist. It’s hard to find the trifecta of «good food» + «delivery» + «online ordering» and Stash hits the spot. They lose some nerd points for having a badly integrated(possibly gimmicky) feature from their online partners — the«track your order» page was still showing«we are baking your food» when the delivery arrived at my front door. Ordered two pizzas, a caesar salad, a gyro sandwich and a chicken souvlaki sandwich. The food was excellent all around.
