Awesome job! I may be spelling incorrectly, but Dana was our photographer and I couldn’t have been more lucky that he was sent for my day. The man runs around like Tarzan capturing the most amazing shots. Very friendly and professional. He’s the man! Thanks Glenmar! Photos look great.

We booked Glenmar for our wedding. We just had our engagement shoot in Verona Park. So far we could not be happier. Elaine met us in the park we had the best of time. We clicked right away and requested her to take our wedding pictures. We’re looking forward to working with her again.

Great pictures taken. Our photographer was great and made us all feel very comfortable. The extras that were given to us for our wedding were a big surprise. I thank them for everything. Wish I was able to get film or cd.

Had to take a moment to share how happy we were to have found Glenmar and used them for our wedding. It’s been almost a year since our wedding and we are finally rolling around to finishing up our photo albums. From start to finish Glenmar did an unbelievable job, we had our initial meeting with Allison and I knew this was our photographer and I am happy to say Allison was one of the photographers at our wedding along with the lovely & talented Melissa. I canceled all of our other appointments and booked right away. We didn’t do a video and while I kinda of regretted deciding against the video but if have to say all the pictures our dynamic duo took tell our story from start to finish. The video would have most likely collected dust and I splurged on some enlargements to decorate the house with so even better!
You are in great hands with Glenmar. They treat you like family or an old friend. I’ve been in many weddings and I have yet to meet anyone as good as this team. My friend spent 3x as much as we did and said at our wedding that she wished she used Glenmar as they were so nice and added to special factor of the day. They made our day and our pictures really easy, and I was thrilled with every picture they took. If you can absolutely splurge for a photo journalist was the best addition we made.

Wow, I have never had more unflattering photos of me taking ever. I suppose perhaps I needed to have been more aware of the angle the photographer was taking them at, but one would think that as the bride at the event, the photographer would know to pick a better angle. I have seen the personal pictures other people took throughout the event and know that I didn’t look nearly as bad as I did in the 350 pictures the photographer took, so I am rather shocked to see the digital images I received from the company I paid to take pictures of me in my very expensive outfit. There are entire series of pictures where my hair is like moving into my mother-​in-​laws face, for example… 5 or 6 shots where this is the case. There are more images of my SIL and her fiancé than of me and my husband than of me throughout… and in better angles. Really, it’s just shocking. I found the photographer himself very nice and the company very pleasant to work with, but the quality is definitely lacking. It was more or less what I would expect if I’d just paid a friend to use their DSLR camera. Luckily, I know photoshop, but these are not professional photographs. It’s very sad. I wish we’d spent more for another company.

The Glenmar Studio recently did the photography and videography for my wedding in October of 2012. I couldn’t be more pleased with the service and quality of their work. I went to several other photographers before deciding on one for my big day and the second I walked into Glenmar, I knew they were the perfect fit.
The Glenmar Studio has several photographers on staff with varied specialties. This was a huge plus for me because many photographers have one photographer with one style. The staff at Glenmar was very accommodating in terms of satisfying our wants/​needs. They also worked with us to fit what we wanted into our budget.
The day of the actual wedding was perfect. Both photographers showed up early and took the time to speak to us about the day. John was with me at my house and he made sure to have a list of all people I «needed» pictures of. For the entire day, the two photographers and videographer were literally at my beck and call. They knew what shots were important to me and made sure they got them. Besides that, they were very creative and friendly. Throughout the wedding day, I continuously had guests compliment me on the personalities and professionalism of my photographers. Both Joey & John were so excited and happy the entire day. They were even showing us shots on the cameras as the day went on. They did not miss a beat.
When we got our proofs, we were thrilled. We had a wide range of posed, candid, and photo-​journalistic style photos. When we viewed the proofs, I truly felt as if I was reliving every moment of our wedding day. They captured everything I could’ve ever wanted and so much more! You really get a sense of who we are and what our day was like when you look at them. I am 10 000% pleased with the choice we made with this photographer and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Joey and Karen from Glenmar did the photography for our October 2012 wedding. We are very happy with our photos. We opted not to purchase albums because we want to make our own smaller, very personal photo books for lots of different people as holiday gifts this year — Glenmar was the only studio we met with that didn’t noticeably lose interest in us after learning we didn’t want to drop an additional $ 1000 on a photography album and just wanted high res disks to own. They were also warm to us throughout the entire consultation process and understood us and our needs. I didn’t see my DH on the day of our wedding before the ceremony, and because we were getting married at night, we wanted to do a wedding party photo shoot the day before to take advantage of the light and fall foliage. Lots of photographers we met with were not flexible about this or didn’t «get» what we wanted. Joey understood right away and made us feel like our idea was great. When the time came to do the actual shoot, the weather was bad, and Joey jumped right in to help us make it work anyway.
We got married at The Swan Club. I would recommend Joey and Karen from Glenmar no matter where you are getting married, but especially if you are getting married at The Swan Club. They really know the venue/​grounds. They also worked wonderfully with the staff there to make sure we got all the photos we needed.
My DH and I are light-​hearted people and wanted our photos to have a sense of humor — to be glamorous yet fun. Well, when we got our disks in the mail, my DH and I sat clicking through the images and couldn’t stop laughing. Our personalities really come through in the photos thanks to the skills of the photographers.

I loved Glenmar from the moment I walked in. I read the two other posts and it is unfortunate they did not have the experience I did. My photos just came back and they are all lovely. We had two photographers, one ehh and the other, Anna was AMAZING! She was at my house THANK GOD. She took stunning photos and was an overall pleasure to work with. I also loved working with their videographer Rob. He made me laugh and calmed me down that morning. My only gripe was the other photographer who went to my husband’s house. He took odd pictures of them on trees and he told the guys to keep on their transitional lens glasses. It makes them all look so weird. About 2 dozen photos are unusable because you can’t see their eyes just the stupid glasses. He was also very in your face which I asked them not to be. Anna was awesome she blended in and I never knew she was there but the photos she took were amazing. I am overall extremely happy with the photos! Thank you Glenmar!

We used The Glenmar Studio for our March 31 wedding and were incredibly impressed with them from start to finish! I don’t know what those other two reviews were talking about! They were one of our favorite wedding vendors to work with! Their prices are fair and by far, the best deal and personality of the photographers we spoke to. Our engagement shoot was great, I had a special idea that I wanted to accomplish with the engagement pics and Glenmar delivered, giving us gorgeous pictures that we ended up using as table numbers at the wedding. We hired them for both photo and video at the wedding and even our guests commented on how respectful and professional Glenmar was. My husband and I danced the entire reception and didn’t miss a moment of the wedding due to pictures, which is exactly what we wanted. They captured every moment of the wedding in photos, most of which we didn’t even know were being taken. I got our proofs within weeks of the wedding and there were over 1,000 pictures to go through!!! Plus, we didn’t have a bridal party or much family so the number of photo options they gave us was amazing! We went through them many times because it was so hard to narrow down so many great shots for the album! We met with Glenmar one week after we got our proofs. What people don’t understand is that your album will take months to make with any photographer. If you don’t return your proofs in a timely manner, then you’re just tacking on all that extra time and you’re to blame as to why you don’t have an album for over a year.

Sorry, but I am not a fan of this place. I used them for my wedding and was less than impressed. The price isn’t bad, but the photos are mediocre at best. My photographer had to be told every shot to take, didn’t take any candid shots or shots of my ceremony décor (which was beautiful) and on top of that he got into a fight with my family friend who was making suggestions for photos, telling me and her that he «didn’t like anybody disrupting his shoot.» I guess he forgot that he was at a wedding and not his very own fashion photo shoot.
When I went to put together my book, they were very pushy about having almost every page an 8×10 — which would increases the cost significantly — and it made me very uncomfortable. Plus, on top of that, I got married in June and have yet to see my book. (It’s April).
I would go with someone else.
UPDATE: I received my book yesterday, and the pictures that I asked to be enhanced were not, and the album is the wrong color — we ordered blue, and its white. I will have to send it back, and have them redo. Maybe I will get the completed RIGHT book by my 1 year anniversary…

He might be one of your top photographers, but that fact is irrelevant because there was a conflict. Just because he is highly requested doesn’t mean he wasn’t unbelievably rude to my family friend. And, in terms of 8×10 photographs not increasing the price, that is not what we were told. If that is not the case we were misinformed by your staff. We were told the more 8×10 (which we had several in our book even after the revisions) we had, the more pages would need to be added to the book (because 8×10’s take up a whole page); which is why we pulled several 8×10’s from our album.
