Specialties

Welcome to Diesel Pizza and Pub! We are your family owned and operated neighborhood pizza pub. Home of a traditional N.Y. and NJ. style hand-tossed pizza. We also offer a wide variety of paninis, subs, salads, and an incredible Hemi Burger! (italian sausage, ground beef, mozzarella, provolone, onions, tomato, mayo, balsalmic glaze, onions, and fresh basil) All of our food is prepared fresh and cooked to order. We proudly serve Boar’s Head meats and cheeses. We strive to deliver your food in time to satisfy your hunger, but our kitchen is only 10×12 so please be patient; and when the patio is open the kitchen only has so much space in our ovens and so many hands to toss your pie. Please remember you are here to enjoy some great food, awesome service, and fantastic music; so sit back and enjoy the show!

History

Established in 2008.

The building in the city’s historic district had previously been home to Taylor’s Auto Service, Weatherford and Wingo and Marcus Auto Repair and Tire Service. A little more than 62 years later, it was a closed-up repair shop in the midst of a thriving city, the sixth-largest in Georgia, unremarkable to the thousands of cars that pass by each day. When the building went up for lease and the Cameron’s were able to turn this amazing building into Diesel, this caught the eye of the Roswell Historical Society, which gave it the 2009 Adaptive Reuse Award for transforming an old eyesore into an asset for the Historic District. But that was only the beginning the recognition the Camerons would receive for their efforts. In October the same year, coincidentally at nearby Primrose Cottage in Roswell, the Georgia Downtown Association and the State Department of Community Affairs presented the Camerons with the Sensitive Rehabilitation/Restoration Award.
