Meet the Business Owner
Jonathan G.
Business Owner
When entrepreneurial pastor, Jonathan Golden learned that the 1994 genocide in Rwanda devastated the coffee growing community, he had an inkling: What if you could impact an entire nation by drinking an excellent cup of coffee? Investing in a roaster and a few bags of green coffee beans, he launched a new coffee ministry grounded in coffee, community, and justice.
By paying coffee growers in Rwanda a fair, Living Wage and investing in village projects, Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee™ is a catalyst for hope and redemption. As growers come together for the purpose of coffee, they restore the relationships that once divided their country. Through the fruits of their labor, they experience the sweetness of God’s grace. In a post-genocide nation, Rwandan farming communities are becoming a vibrant picture of opportunity and sustainability. We invite you to join our story, to Drink Coffee. Do Good.
