We’re back! Having the Outlaw Ribeye, medium well, with crispy onion straws, and the yummie strawberry and pecan salad with raspberry vinaigrette, and a sweet ice tea to drink. Bingo! Another Bullseye at Longhorn.

I’ve managed to have a few meals at this location of Longhorn which is sort of between Roswell and Alpharetta on the corner of Mansell and Roswell Rds. It was very convenient to my old Alpharetta office behind the mall. I think this places is better suited for lunch as it’s very crowded during that time. I most recently visited with a large group of family members — the food was very good and consistent but I thought the service a bit lackluster — the attitude I perceived was that we were a lot of trouble, especially as some of what was ordered went astray, which is almost inevitable with a party of 18 or so. My steak was delicious and cooked perfectly, which is really the reason to visit this well established and provisioned steakhouse.

So here’s the thing: if you don’t want a Caesar salad, and the alternative — iceberg — leaves you cold, ask the server for field greens. «I don’t think we have that,» he or she may say. «Check it out in the kitchen,» you might respond. And voila –they always seem to find it. Coupled with their excellent house vinaigrette — with olives! — you’ll want to thank me for steering you to a really good starter salad! I’m not a steak-eater, but most of my friends are. So rather than bicker about where to go, I’ll generally agree to LongHorn. The salmon is good. The chopped steak with mushrooms is always a winner.(I know, I know; if I don’t like steak, why do I really like hamburgers?!) Meat comes out as requested. Rare is rare. Medium is medium. They seem to have it down pat. The sides are tasty, the prices right, and the ambience — particularly at this locale — quiet, unhurried and pretty darned nice for a Saturday evening out.

Have been there twice. The steaks there are always like rubber OVERCOOKED, I have no idea why so many people eat there. Maybe just cheap. Tender? No! Juicy inside? No Like a pice of plastics? No, like a rubber!

Nice job for a cooperate restaurant. Half a prime rib sandwich that was soft and had plenty of meat. The Caesar salad dressing is obviously not made in house but it worked. I like how they put a few home made chips(drizzled with what seems to be a bechamel sauce) on our plate. That was an unexpected nice touch to our lunch. Good food and good value. Nice combo for $ 9.00. I’m giving 3.5 stars as I just don’t give 4 to cooperate restaurants unless they go above and beyond. Ask for Pam. She did a great job.

I enjoy this location, it seems to always have great service especially for coming on a Saturday night. Their appetizers are sooooo good I love the firecracker chicken wraps. Also, they have very good dressings probably my favorite honey mustard ever and the raspberry vinaigrette is great too. We had a slight delay getting bread to our table, but they happily made up for it by bringing us two when they finally brought it out. Sign up for emails and get coupons!

The reason I gave the amount of stars is due to the service at this place. The service from check in until I am walking out the door has been one of the best I have encountered in a bit. The wait staff are extremely busy the couple of times I have eaten there but not once have I felt neglected. Food– Over several trips I have tried the shrimp, salmon and steak. All of the meals were good but if I had to pick it would be the bone in Ribeye. Go figure at a steak house. It was delicious and probably the better steak amongst others considering the price point. If you have to pick a side a must is the sweet potato. Yum yum yum is all I have to say.

This is not a review that I am looking forward to writing. This LongHorn is my favorite, but on this particular visit, I was extremely disappointed. We decided to have dinner there on our wedding day. I had called earlier in the day to see if I needed a reservation because I would have up to 8 – 10 people at 7pm. The manager was very sweet and said we could bring our wedding cake with no problem. After the ceremony, we were down to 5, so I called the restaurant to let them know there would only be 5 of us. The girl on the phone(not the manager) got REALLY rude with me because I had decreased the party by half. I apologized and told her some folks had changed their minds and I had no control over that, but I wanted to give them a courtesy call to let them know. MAJORATTITUDE was thrown my way and it went downhill from there. When we got to the restaurant at 7, we did have to wait, but we were ok with that. We got a lot of attention by other patrons because we were in our wedding clothes(I mention this only because we came straight from the wedding and were a bit over dressed, so folks knew) Once we got seated, we waited for what seemed like forever for our waiter to come and get our drink order. I gave him our appetizer order at that time, too. Those took forever to come out. We noticed that people who were seated after us were already getting their dinner. Our server was just horrible. He rarely made an appearance at our table. When the food finally came out(brought by other servers) and we started to eat, he didn’t even come to check on us. We had to call over a waiter who was not ours regarding an issue with my daughters meal. Once that server reported the issue, the manager came over and gladly replaced the parmesan chicken with something more appetizing. That is one star. The rest of our food was pretty good. My new husband and sister in law had prime rib, but they were just slightly over cooked. I had the sirloin and it was excellent. My daughter finally ended up with the chicken fried steak, which she loved! The nephew got chicken fingers, which was plentiful! 2STARS Like the rest of our experience, we had to ask for boxes twice and waited forever once again. When he finally brought the boxes, we had to ask for our check and that took another 10 minutes to get! As we were leaving out the door he said… Oh, you got married? Can I get you a free dessert?”(as an after thought) I told him no, thank you. he then said«bye» and scurried on his way. I honestly think they were a bit pissy because we decreased the number in our party and this is why I did not give them a perfect rating. With the exception of the nice manager and another member of the waitstaff — the service was HORRIBLE and we definitely felt let down. OH! Before I forget– I ordered the Peach Chipotle Margarita — It was deelish!!! You have to try it! I will go back again and give them another try because it is my favorite LongHorn and we never had a bad experience there until our wedding day.

Great atmosphere. Fantastic service. The waiter was really friendly and helped me make a great entrée decision, he also came by to check on us more then a handful of times which I loved. The salmon and rice was very delicious although the broccoli was not«steamed or flavored» enough for me but it was alright. Will be returning soon! And not too pricey at all!

I’ve been to 2 or 3 Longhorns. The food and service has always been good/consistent. Never had a problem. I love their bar and always feel welcome. Sure, it has a little of that franchise feel, but that doesn’t bother me or my family. As long as it’s clean, service is quick and friendly, and food is good/interesting…I’m happy. My favorite is the Black and Blue burger. I’m telling you, they use some sort of spice for their meat that is the bomb.

Let me first say the service at this location is top notch. Great waiters, manager and hostess. Now for the food. Just OK. And based on how the prices have gone up that is just not good enough. This is a steakhouse, but for some reason they can never get my husband’s steak right. All the proteins were overcooked. The salads and sides leave me underwhelmed. I guess we are stuck eating at our tried and true grill spot closer to the house.

I love the steaks at Longhorns. The staff at this location are always nice and friendly. It is located in a quiet shopping center so there is a lot of parking. I will definitely return to this location for a great steak.

I wás there in late sept with a party of 6. we were celebrating a birrhday. We ordered drinks and were served the one of us spilled a drink. By the time someone came to help we hadit cleaned up. Our waitress Veronica took our order and later brought some salads and an app. After a45 min. wait we asked about our steaks. In abt 10 min they came out and the order was wrong. I ordered a Flos fillet med. Rare. It was so over cooked and srivvled it was like a hockey puck. My friend ordered her steak well done and it was med. Another friend waa the only one who ordered a salad and haf to wait another 5 min. The manager comped her meal. We arrived at 6:30 and were seated quickly. We left as they were closing Worst service and food i’ve had in a longtime.

I’m only given them a one star because the service was great. That was the only thing that was good about this place. Food was horrible I’ve ate there before but never this bad. I had the Parmesan crusted chicken breast with some asparagus. I will attach a picture so you can see what I mean. They really need to get it together at this restaurant or they’re going to risk loosing lots of customers. Someone really needs to just let the chef know. The bread that they give you is always hard as a rock guaranteed. I don’t think I’ll be returning back to Longhorn steakhouse ever!

My hubby and I were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the steak dinners we received. It has been quite some time since we have been to a Long Horns but the one in Roswell is great. It is now going on the list of worthwhile places to frequent with friends and family.

If you’ve been like me, and bypassed ‘chain’ steakhouses in the past, I think maybe you should reconsider when it comes to Longhorn… I came back to Longhorn because of a Unilocal event there, and now I believe I’ll return a few times on my own. They have really adapted to changing times. The restaurant feels very contemporary in their interior design. I really enjoyed the Grilled Watermelon Wedge Salad with kale, romaine, quinoa and Goat cheese; drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette. It was a curious mix of bitter and sweet. Although I didn’t seem to enjoy the first bite, it really grew on me and I finished it wondering why it disappeared so quickly. For the entrée, I enjoyed the Grilled Hawaiian Rib eye. I usually like my steak with minimal sauces and accoutrements, but I was convinced to try this recipe. I’m glad I did! The sweet sauce and pineapple chunks was delicious and not at all overpowering as I was afraid it might be. This steak was wonderful! finally, if you don’t leave room for the ‘Chocolate Stampede’, well… Make room.
