Initially I made the mistake of bringing my laptop to Geek Squad at Best Buy I was quoted $ 650 by a creepy call rep there and they had no clue what needed to be repaired. He was even pushing for me to approve the repairs without knowing what needed to be fixed. I had to wait 2 – 3 days for someone to get back to me with a real estimate. Needless to say I refused the repairs at Best Buy.
Took my laptop to Peachtree Computers after finding good reviews online. Got a quote for an alternative motherboard option that was still very good for my needs and the total cost was just over half of what Best Buy could offer. Thanks!!!

I drove over 30mins to this store because of all the great reviews on Unilocal.From my experience I really feel like all the good reviews are fake.
The hard drive on my laptop has been having issues so I decided to take it to Peachtree Computers. I went into the store and the guy at the register was super shady. I told him my problem and asked him how long it would take because I didn’t know if I should go home or stay in the area. He wouldn’t give me an answer and I had to repeat the question another time. He finally said that it would take less than 24 hours and I would get a call at the end of the day. The day goes by I get no call. I call them 4 days later and they tell me they’re having problems and still working on it. A whole week goes by and I haven’t heard again. Now I’m a bit scared. Is this business even legit? I call them again and they say that they can’t fix it but it’s ready to pick up.
I go to the store after a week from dropping it off and the diagnosis is free (the only good thing about this place). Upon returning my items, I am not kidding, they hand me back my laptop UNSCREWED, HARD DRIVE REMOVED, HARD DRIVE COVER OFF, HARD DRIVE RUBBER CASING OFF and EXTERNAL hard drive unmounted. They didn’t have the screws in ziplock bags and just expected me to walk out the store with everything like that. I asked the guy why it was presented like this and his reply was that it’s easier for a data recovery specialist to get into. I’m sure that a specialist knows how to unscrew a hard drive cover.
I notify the man that I’m disappointed with the service and presentation. I already had an idea they couldn’t fix it so I wasn’t upset about that. I was upset that it took a week and no one made any contact with me for that whole week. I was the one who had to call them. He said they did try to contact me and blamed it on miscommunication. But I never received any calls or voicemails. There was no miscommunication because this company never made any attempt to communicate.
If you want to get something fixed I’d recommend another place. This company is really shady. I felt it the moment I stepped in the shop.

I took my wife’s laptop to Peachtree Computers and was very pleased with the service. They acknowledged me when I walked in and quickly got around to looking into my computer issues. I felt reasonably confident that they knew what they were talking about and so I left the laptop with them. The laptop had been serviced by Office Depot a few months before. It took a month to get it back and it came back with new problems. And so I left thinking that if I got it back in a week that would be great. I stopped at the dry cleaners on my way home. When I walked through the door of my house, my phone rang. It was Peachtree Computers calling to tell me that the laptop was repaired and ready to be picked up. I think I might have then shedded a tear. The cost was $ 29!!!

I had what I thought was a really complex series of problems with my PC. Turns out it was a bad set of updates sent out by Microsoft. These good people had me diagnosed for free, and repaired for $ 49 in just a few hours. I don’t often have issues, but when I do I’ll definitely come back!

Great place, very good value and just a little on the geeky side, just as it should be. Great place to go and save $$$ on professionally reconditioned equipment that performs wonderfully. Have purchased from both locations and find them outstanding.

If there was a ten-​star Unilocal rating, these guys would surely qualify. From the initial phone contact and explanation of services to pickup of my laptop, the professionalism, service, quality of personnel and overall satisfaction (including the price I paid and the value I received) couldn’t be better.
I left my laptop (nearly for dead) and discovered that these guys could fix anything! Seriously, while my data was backed up, I didn’t have much hope for the operating system, services, connectivity and other essentials on the machine. But they called, said it was fixed, and they «just had to do it» to tackle the challenge.
I’ve had a lot of machines and a lot of challenges over the years, but Jeff and the team at Peachtree Computers really know what the hell their doing. I wouldn’t even think about taking my PC’s anywhere else.
Great customer care, great service, great price and value, and turn around time was fantastic (like same afternoon)!

This is the place you want to take your computer when you need help with it. I had a bad hard drive — no big deal, right? But it was part of a RAID pair and I did not have a recent backup of my data, so I took it to Peachtree Computers for data recovery.
They quoted me a very fair fixed price and, even though I turned out to be very challenging, completely stuck to it. I mentioned that the PC had a few other issues and they diagnosed a faulty motherboard and gave me some options. Bottom line, I came home with a fully functional computer with all of my data intact for WAY less than I expected to pay. I received timely updates and courteous, professional treatment all the way through.
I can’t recommend these guys highly enough!

Just had the most pleasant experience with Peachtree Computers… I got to work today, and my windows 7 laptop would not log on to windows. Basically wouldn’t boot up. So I went to Unilocal to find a highly rated repair shop in my area. I dropped my computer off here around 11, and waited for the bad news. About 2 hours later they had diagnosed the problem, and said they could have it fixed in a snap. By 330 pm, I was picking up my computer, and for a very reasonable price. People were friendly, work was fast… would use them again in a heartbeat.

Excellent service and technical support. Very fair price for work performed. Needed new hard drive for my laptop and all work was complete within 24 hours. This is our 4^th experience using Peachtree Computers — each experience has been positive!

This place is the epitome of professionalism. I have been a longtime customer — I’ve gotten a few machines repaired or updated here as well as a phone screen repaired (great price, service on that). When I worked from home, they were my IT department! The team is always very fair with pricing and they know their stuff. Their customer service and expertise is why I would never recommend anyone else or trust anyone else with my computers.

I dropped off my computer on Monday and it was ready on Tuesday. I had an issue with my hard drive and they basically mirrored it to another drive. I was back using my computer the same week. They provided me with excellent service. I will definitely go back if I need it again in the future.

Fast, professional, and quality service. My organization will use them for all our repairs going forward.

Over the last several years, we’ve purchased multiple used MacBooks from Peachtree Computers for our office. Their customer service on the sales end has always been excellent but the best way to tell the integrity of a company is customer service when there’s a problem.
The latest machine we purchased from them sat on a shelf in the office for almost 2 weeks before we had a chance to put it into service at which time we discovered the keyboard was sticky as if something had spilled on it at some point in it’s lifetime. When we took it back to them, we (understandably) had difficulty assuring Peachtree Computers that the machine was originally sold to us that way. After a bit of back-​and-​forth, they agreed to replace the keyboard and took care of the situation.
Although I would’ve preferred less hassle in resolving the problem, at the end of the day they proved their integrity is just as solid on the back end of a sale as it is on the front end.

I dropped off my two computers, one that I thought had a virus and the other that I had memory installed. They were so honest about pricing that I nearly could have kissed Brady through the phone. I am a blond when it comes to fixing computers so he could have eaisly over charged me on everything but he was very fair and told me exactly what I did wrong. (power cord is bad) :) I reccomend to anyone that is on a budget but needs their computers fixed.

I’ve taken a few computers in (one Lenovo laptop and one Mac laptop). These guys can handle anything it seems. Super friendly, and put computer jargon into laymen terms. I highly recommend them to all my friends.

I’ve been here twice and I am SO happy they are around.
The first time I was just a bystander, stopping in with a friend who was dropping off her computer. Right away I noticed how friendly these guys were; they’re not these angry-​at-​the-​world computer dudes hanging out behind a monitor. They’re warm and willing to help and come across like they’re happy to see you.
My husband’s laptop got hit with a virus Friday afternoon. I immediately remembered Peachtree Computers and suggested we drop it off there. We weren’t able to make it back in time before they closed at 7 to get the computer back, but they were done with it before the day was over. We picked it up this morning and it’s good to go.
Their prices are ridiculously reasonable, they’ll do a free diagnostic, and just like the first time, they were very helpful and friendly. Awesome service.

Since 2008, Peachtree Computers has provided me a reliable resource for answers to my computer problems, upgrades, and custom built computers.
They have provided me with service and equipment at very reasonable prices. I see no need to every buy a new computer from a retail store when I can have one custom-​built for me at half the price by the guys at Peachtree Computers.
Ask for the owner, Aaron. He’s the man! But all of his staff are equally reliable in my experience as well.
