Very nice staff. I needed 2 batteries exchanged under warranty on a very cold thursday night. At first they were a bit irritated with my request but after we talked it through the service was quick, polite and clean. They let my dogs wait inside where it was warm.

I had a popped tire on one of of the tires that I purchased from Pep Boys. They were able to properly fix the tire quickly and at no charge due to the warranty that comes with the tires. It was a great experience with no BS.

I have been coming to this Pep Boys for several years. The customer service manager, Troy Vanzo, is amazing. I trust my car and all it’s service needs to this Pep Boys. Troy makes sure to always take care of me. I trust him because he always treats me fairly and works with me on many different levels to get my vehicle fixed at the best price. Stop in and ask for Troy, he will always take care of you!

Troy just spent 10 minutes on the phone with the Pep Boys hotline to get me an addition a discount. Wow. Good example of great customer care.

Our car left us stranded in Alpharetta so we had to have it towed late on a Saturday. We have been happy customers of Pep Boys in mid town (Piedmont) for years so we decided to have it towed to the closest Pep Boys location, which was this Alpharetta Hwy location. We didn’t get off to a good start in our communications but we were very impressed when the Manager, Allan, called us to make sure we were happy and to work through an issue. It is not often that you get good customer service these days, and it is even less frequent that you get a company that goes out of its way to try to make certain you leave 100% satisfied. Frankly, we learned that our car is toast and that it is not worth keeping, which is a bummer. But, at least in the end of this experience we were treated like valued customers. We always really appreciate that.

This place does not honor time.
I had booked an appointment online for the car air conditioning check at 5 pm on a Wednesday. Reached the store at 4 pm, handled over the keys.
Was made to wait till 5 – 30 pm to inform that A/​c technician has left for the day.
I would look elsewhere is time is valued by anyone.

Came on a Sunday morning to get new tires installed because of a damaged tire which was ruled as unrepairable by Kauffman Tire the previous evening and who did not have time to replace for a set of new ones.
They took my car right away and started working on it.
After 10 min they came and fetched me in the customers’ lounge to show me the damaged tire and told me they could fix it.
I asked «how much is it to fix it?», question to which the Manager replied «no cost»
Very honest with their clients, I like this. I am switching all of my business to this Pep Boys center from now on. They gained a new customer and its trust.

Great customer service — very helpful. Only complaint is that the amount I signed for was different than what is on my receipt.

I recently took my bmw to get it new tires and to get it aligned. They did the job and when I got my car back they did something to it that gave me another problem. My car is aligned but they did something to my car that everytime I go 70mph it was to go different directions. They didn’t end up fixing that problem all they did was take it to another location to get it aligned there. I paid to get my car aligned but instead they have my car back with a problem I didn’t have to begin with. I’m not mad I just hope they tell the next person before hand that they won’t be able to align your car and that they will give it an additional problem. I feel as all they wanted was to take 750 $ out of my pocket. I mentioned the word refund to the employee and he went off with an attitude. Allan was the only one that actually seemed to care about my car. When they actually took my car into the shop and than took it out the employee drove off from 0mph to probably 40mph in 2 seconds. That bothered me because that’s not his car to be exploding for no reason. If it was not for Alan I would give this a 1 star rating. However they at least did a good job putting on the tires. Thankfully they didn’t give me more problems.

Good service negotiable pricing and fast most times. I have been coming here for a long time and they use to be big ten tires but the servuce hs always been good. I have been here for service for over ten years. They also take coupons.

Yesterday I called around for a couple of Michelin tires and pep boys was the least expensive. Came in today, they had me in and out in one hour. When I received the bill, it was more than the guy on phone quoted. Turns out the guy quoting, quoted incorrectly, however, they adjusted my bill to match the original quote. I have to give them five stars. Nice job, and when my front tires need replacing in about six months, I will definitely be back to pep boys!

I have been coming here for years. Since i know my car pretty well, they don’t try to mess with me, but it has happened once or twice. Like all places, know your car before you go.
Everytime I bring my car in i know it will come out running like new. And thats an awesome feeling.
That being said, Allan is an amazing manager and will do his best to get you a good deal, and since its a chain, they have amazing sales and coupons — so always have one ready!

My photo says it all fraudulent charges which they refused to correct when confronted with it. Back another Saturday to try and undo the damage they did last week. And sure enough ~ today they were magically able to undo the charges that were packed onto the transaction, which was way more then the cost of the tire.
Still would not go back. Caveat Emptor!

I went here to get some new tires because they were having a promotion of buying 3 getting one free, and they had the tires I needed at a completive price.
When I called they told me I would be out in under an hour to get all the tires replaces and car aligned after that.
Well I got there and I think they were busier than they expected. It took about 2 hours for them to finish the tires. They gave me an instant rebate instead of the standard mail in rebate, which is nice. I will probably be back, but who knows…
