I generally avoid Publix due to their prices. Everyone knows they’re high… heck, even Publix knows they’re high and they rub our noses in it because they have a stranglehold on much of N. Atlanta.
But, I stopped at this location out of necessity one evening. It’s clear they cater to the «rushing home from work» crowd, as they’ve shrunk their fresh meat dept. down to almost nothing, which gives them just enough room to control how much meat is available, when, and at what price.
Seriously $ 8.07 for ½lb of 90⁄10 ground beef? And $ 13 for four chicken breasts? Are you out of your mind?
I have shopped at Publix frequently in the past, but I will go out of my way NOT to, anymore.
