Established in 2008.

Having been in photography and having worked in studios for years, it was time in 2008 for Dan Carmody and his partners to begin Studio 7 ATL. In 2010, Dan bought out the partners and began what is now Studio 7 Photography, LLC, a high quality, high service level boutique photography studio in Historic Roswell.

Both my husband and I have called and emailed this company for 3 and a half months now to provide us a family picture they took of us at Roswell High School. It was our very first family portrait made with my youngest son. They are great at promising to deliver, but fail to actually deliver. They are so unprofessional. I am so disappointed I won’t be able to treasure the moment they captured for me and my family.

Dan Carmody is an excellent photographer and he has photographed my family for years. He even went to Athens to photograph my daughter after she graduated from UGA. He is very easy to work with, fun, engaging and knows how to get the perfect shot!

Studio 7 Photography is great! Dan and Beja were the photographers for my wedding and they made the day so special. They were willing to take ideas for different shots, but luckily they also had many ideas of their own from their years of experience. They work together as a team and they get TONS of pictures. I have recommended them to friends since my big day. I would definitely check them out. The turnaround on all of my wedding photos (around 2,000 photos) was about 1.5−2 weeks.

I cannot recommend this company. Although some of the pictures were great, it took Studio 7 four (yes, four) years to provide me my wedding album. Multiple emails were exchanged and promises and excuses were constantly made. When my mother requested that a miniature duplicate album be made for the parents to make up for our inconvenience, she was told she would be charged for it. On top of that, none of the specialty photos that I requested to be taken on the night of my wedding were taken — including one of my grandmother and me who passed away a few months after my wedding. If you are looking for quality photos in a timely manner, I recommend that you avoid working with Studio 7.

Received son’s senior pictures almost 3−½ months after ordering them. Called 10+ times to get order, including one last time because they only sent half the order after all the promises and waiting. Owner cannot seem to manage orders or staff and has tried to guilt me into not doing a negative review. Would never use as vendor if I had a choice.

Unfortunately, despite many emails and phone calls to this company, I have not recieved my daughter’s cross country pictures which were taken 4 months ago. Each time I speak with them, they promise to deliver but do not follow through. I am very frustrated and I would not recommend them based upon this level of unprofessionalism.
