Super friendly, helped this complete newbie get going. They let you test out the bikes in the parking lot, and won’t try to oversell you on anything. They showed me how to disassemble the biked for travel, and said to bring it in after the first flat for a demonstration on changing the tube, etc. Class acts!

I’ve only been in there once when I needed help with a bike tire. They were super nice and made sure to show me the correct way to change my inner tubes. If I ever need anything for my bike, I’ll be back there in a heartbeat.

Unbelievable customer service at Buck’s Bike. I went there this weekend after paying for expensive bike fittings at other stores and still riding in pain. Actually I had to get PT and was riding in pain for about a year. I went into Buck’s Nike and for no charge they told me to ride around on my bike and they looked at my positioning. Quickly they were able to figure out my seat was not in the correct position and my legs were too fully extended when I cycled. They sold me a new seat and made a few minor adjustments and for the first time in about a year I was able to ride pain after.

This is a great place to purchase a bike for the first time. Especially, if you’re looking for genuine employees who are willing to go the extra mile for you.
My boyfriend and I searched Unilocal to find a bike shop because he’s been wanting to get a bike. After looking at reviews, we decided to check this one out first.
When we arrived, we were immediately greeted by the sales staff who were very helpful, thorough, and informative. Tom was awesome. He patiently took us through the all the details to consider for purchasing a new bike and encouraged us to test ride until we were certain we’d found the perfect one. Just to be thorough, we shopped around at other stores in the area and took a few test rides, but after being ignored by staff members and/​or turned off by outrageously high prices, it became clear that Buck’s was the place to go, so we bought a bike along with some needed accessories.
We enjoyed our experience and he decided to purchase a second bike for me. Next day, we were greeted by a different employee. It’s so great when there is consistency in customer service amongst different people within the workplace. Crystal was great in answering all of our questions and making sure we were comfortable with what we wanted. I test rode a few bikes and found my match. We left happily once again.
After a few days of happy riding, my boyfriend accidentally ran over his bike from reversing his truck. We were pretty much heart-​broken.
So, I called and told them what happened and they said they would be glad to take a look at it. To shorten my story, the bike was totaled, they salvaged what they could, and got me all set up with a new bike. They were also helpful in making sure the bike would fit in my sedan.
They were awesome and I recommend anyone to check them out if you’re shopping around for the first time.

Awesome service! After visiting a competitor who claimed my wheel could not be fixed, the repair department at Buck’s stepped up. With less than $ 20 I was able to walk out the door with a very true rim.
Thanks to buck’s bikes I didn’t need to fork out over $ 200 on a replacement wheel.

Don’t ever take your bike there for repairs. Overcharged and told to do work while much cheaper alternatives existed. I’ll never go back again.

Not happy! Bike was riding rough so took it in for a tune up, which they did (about $ 70)and when I got it back it wasn’t shifting as well as when I brought it in. Took it back and they told me it was shifting fine. Rode for awhile, got worse, took it back, talked to a new guy (straight shooter) who told me I needed all new drive train and other stuff that cost more than bike was worth. They should have given me the straight scoop when I brought it in the first time!

Went in for bike repairs. Got it done promptly. Reasonable prices and good service.

A bit of a time warp here. Low-​key, easy going folks.

I bought a used bike and the rear tire wasn’t holding air, so I brought it in a it was fixed in 10 minutes for a few bucks. I brought it home and a few days later I went to ride it, but the tire was flat again. I brought it back and they added rim tape and replaced the tube. They were very apologetic for not catching that the first time I brought it in and didn’t charge me for labor. It was still fixed in 10 minutes for a few bucks.
Both times I was there I was greeted when I walked in, even though the store was really busy. Plus, everyone was very friendly and took the time to listen to my newbie questions.

We have been purchasing bikes from Buck’s for over 20 years and would never go anywhere else. We were in today to get a new bike for my husband and had phenomenal service, as usual. Pete and team helped him decided which bike would be best for his needs. After they narrowed it down between two options, they guided him to the one that best fit him and didn’t push for the more expensive option.
We will never go anywhere else to buy or service our bikes. Thanks Pete and team!

I took my Raleigh hybrid in for a tune up this week. The technician took time to point out some additional repairs that helped to justify some of the issues I had noticed on my last couple of rides. He even helped me to better understand the difference in performance if I were to give up my «baby» (hybrid) for a road bike. Thanks to his honesty I was able to decide to keep what I have instead of forking out a lot of money for a new bike! Great service and the bike was even ready a day earlier than promised!

First visit. I needed a tube, great price and fast service! I expected twice the price and having to drop off. Took 5 minutes. Very friendly staff.

I’ve been riding bikes non-​stop since I was a kid. As a result, local bike stores and making recommendations to my less experienced friends become a necessity. Never had an issue with any of my friend’s mainstream bikes. Only snag was when I brought one of my expensive rigs in for routine service. Although it didn’t quite go as planned, I talked to the shop owner and he made it right. A few minor adjustments when I got the bike home, and she was race tuned and ready to go once again.

So my wife came in here before Christmas to get a scope on the different bikes for myself (I am a big dude!) And the people at the Bucks Bikes Round Rock Superstore were so helpful and eventually steered her to a cheaper better alternative for me at, a different store that was better for us (we werent ready to throw down 500 – 600 bucks on a bike for me)
She got a Schwinn Suburban for me at Academy and it has been the best bike I have ever ridden.
Flash Forward to today. I bought some bike parts online and last night tried to raise my handlebars on my bike, and was not doing a hood job of it.
I wheeled it in to the same Bucks Bikes and told Ulysses my problem. He talked to me, let me know the part wasn’t the right one but then went out of his way to spend the 5 – 10 minutes and actually raise my handlebars for me, lock everything down and make sure everything else was good, without charging me anything.
When I am ready to move up on bikes, I know where I am going to go. This place. Thanks Ulysses and everyone there!

Bought my daughters first «real bike» here today. Although we had gone to other spots to look at bikes I wanted to shop local and decided to try this place out. I’m glad I did, we were greeted yet there was no pressure… We were allowed to look around and only after we looked like we were confused did we get approached. Our salesperson was really helpful and took time to make sure that we got the right size. After we found our bike, they tuned it up, adjusted to my little girl and put on a pair on really nice training wheels, all in fifteen minutes. I almost bought myself a bike as well but my manager a.k.a the wife said no… When I’m ready to buy my bike, I’m going to give these guys a shot again. Really happy with Buck’s, great local bike shop in Round Rock.

Brought my bike in for a basic tune up. The people up front were very attentive, friendly and helpful. Vic, I believe was his name, the gentleman who works in the back, seems to know just what he’s doing. It took four days for them to complete the job because they were a little backed up but this wasn’t a problem for me at all, especially because I was informed that it would take a few days when I was dropping my bike off in the first place, which I appreciate.
They did a great job and my gal rides like a dream! And I paid a very fair price. I will definitely continue to give them my business and tell friends. Glad this place is here in town, what a life saver!

My husband and I talked about stopping here numerous times to get an idea of my future bike purchase. Last week, he surprised me for my birthday and we stopped here after breakfast from our favorite taco place a few buildings away. This ended up being our last stop for bike window shopping.
We were greeted soon after stepping inside and offered any assistance needed. Crystal helped us out, myself being the bike noob that I am, she walked us around showing us the different type of bicycles answering all of our questions and giving details including the «why.»
We were able to test the bicycles in the parking lot to make sure they would be a good fit, and were satisfied with the bicycle choice. They were able to have the parts for the bike in the next day and assembled! They even threw in a kickstand. I will definitely be back. They have a great selection, knowledgeable staff, and the bikes come with warranties and service. If you are ever in a want/​need for a bike, this is the place to go!
Update: We purchased another bicycle for my husband recently, still great, fast service. Very satisfied.

Today I went in with my double jogging stroller. The front tire was shredded and busted up so bad it was barely holding on to the rim by ½ inch piece of rubber. One of the guys took it right back and took my mangled tire off and put a new one on for me. Took less than 15 minutes and he even aired up the other two tires for me at no charge.
They were very friendly and knowledgeable. I was worried they wouldn’t be able to fix it, or have to leave it for a week till they could get around to fixing it.
Cost me $ 30 bucks, but I knew the tires ranged around 20 – 25 bucks by themselves. So it was well worth the $ 30 to not have to replace the tire myself.

This is a really good bike store. It seems to be very well managed with a very large selection of bikes. I was greeted promptly in the store by a sales person that was able to answer all my questions and direct me to the right type of bike. He seemed very knowledgeable.
They seem to carry on the better quality high end bikes here so if you are looking for a low price point bike than Wal-​Mart is your best bet. These bikes however will perform well and last.
Later I brought my bike in for a tune up and they did a real good job on that as well. They have a good service department. My only criticism is that it took a week for them to finish the tune up. They were pretty backlogged but that is probably pretty normal everywhere since I brought it in during the early spring.
