Kwik Kar Wash Lube & Tune

The service here is okay and they have a nice waiting area. However, every time I come the employees always try to make me buy an extra add on. The first few times I thought they were just being helpful but after my fourth visit here I truly think they get incentivized to add additional services on to your bill. I don’t think I will be returning here to get my oil changed. Also, I paid for a full car wash and upon getting my car back, the entire back seat was still covered in dog hair (the whole reason I came to get it done).
My first experience at this location during their opening was phenomenal. But ever since then I have been more and more disappointed. I will be finding another location to get my car maintenance.

First time using the full service and I’m very happy.
I was greeted right away and all the options were explained to me.
After paying I sat outside and after my car came thru a young man came up to me and asked if that was my car, I told him yes and he said he was not happy with the wash and was putting it thru again. He apologized and ran it thru again.
My car came out clean and sparkling.

I originally took my car here to have my brakes checked out. But I got an unexpected phone call saying I was going to need my front bearings worked on. While I was already having a horrible week, on top of the unexpected extra costs, the lift ended up getting stuck with my car on top. Dan, who was taking care of me the entire time, updating me with everything that came up, ended up taking 15% off my entire bill, as well as a free car wash. My car is completely fixed, and I will definitely be coming back. Completely wonderful people, and I am so appreciative!

This was my first time visiting this Kwik Kar location. I needed an inspection so I found the nearest Kwik Kar and pulled in. The staff greeted me kindly, pulled me right into a bag and got started.
No one tried to up sell me anything I didn’t need. I did inquire about car wash pricing at which the nice gentleman informed me of, in addition to telling me about half price washes with purchase of inspection — pretty cool perk. They even let me purchase the wash now and wait a few days for the rain to pass before actually getting my car washed. Way cool.
The inspection was prompt and I assume as thorough as any state inspections needs to be. I wasn’t there more than 20 minutes at the most, including the time it took me to pull up my insurance card on my phone.
I haven’t gotten my car washed yet, but I’m sure I’ll be impressed. All equipment looks to be in great working order and the staff seems more than competent.
The one and only complaint I have isn’t even really a complaint as it is also partially my fault as the car owner/​driver. They didn’t get my hood shut completely. Yes, I should’ve checked this prior to driving away, as it is my car and I’m responsible for making sure it’s ready to drive. I also understand not wanting to «slam» a customers hood down.
All in all, great staff, great facilities, great company.

Got my suv washed and detailed (interior, carpets and seats) this morning. Wait was a little longer than I expected but well worth it. Friendly staff and my suv looked brand new when it was finished. Will be returning in the future, for sure!

Here’s my story — I’ve got a broken leg. I’m on crutches, and my vehicle inspection is about to expire. So I call Kwik Kar, and ask how long the wait is. The woman that answers checks with «the guys» and says 45 minutes to an hour. «Great,» I exclaim! «Can my wife and I drop it off, and then pick it up when it’s done?» «Yeah, for sure,» she proclaims… so we shuffle my hurt behind into the truck, and head over. Low and behold, the gentleman tells us we are not allowed to drop it off… for the life of me, I have no idea why. I know they are a new location, but come on… that’s an easy one. Get your act together, guys…

The «ultimate» car wash/​detailing was a great deal at $ 34! I am surprised by how good it looked for this price, and will come back.

So… I’ll never come back here. I learned my lesson with trying to support our new local business. I probably wouldn’t have complained, but I paid $ 70 and waited an hour for them to finish a standard oil change. Lambs has much better customer service and a faster start-​to-​finish time. I almost forgot… they are also $ 30 cheaper for the same semi-​synthetic oil.
Here’s my advice.
1. Work on the management of your oil changing crew. The goal should be 30 minutes or less, if its going to be longer then explain that upfront.
2. Don’t try and upsell customers in the parking lot when you have cars in the bay.
3. Be honest and stop trying to trick less educated car owners.
4. Do a price check with the area. Just cause you’re new doesn’t mean you need to be the most expensive.

Should’ve read the reviews… upselling is their game. My daughter and her dad went in for a standard oil-​change with a $ 3 off coupon. The coupon was from a Cedar Park location so the sales person told her it could not be used. She was told her ’06 Honda Accord coupe (just purchased from RRHonda this past January) needed high-​mileage oil and several other things. She told the guy, I only want an oil change (which is what she was told to say, knowing that place try to add-​on). Somehow she agreed to the high-​mileage oil upsell, making this simple oil change $ 54! Her dad was with her, but is Deaf and she did not interpret to him what was being said since she didn’t understand what the man was saying anyway. The salesperson said her car needed the higher oil and she said okay. She didn’t realize the up-​charge and did not explain further to her dad.
When I heard the price, I called in and asked what was so expensive. I was told she agreed to the high-​mileage oil which is more$, and her dad «nodded» to the up-​charge as well. I asked that they remove the up-​charge since clearly neither was told what it was before the work was done. Then the man of the phone said he looked at the car’s history and it had high-​mileage oil the last time it was there. WE’VE NEVER BEEN THERE BEFORE. Ike the manager called me back and said both her and her dad were told (not aware of anyone there knowing sign language) and agreed. He said they should’ve honored the $ 3 off coupon as they can honor other locations discounts up to $ 5, but they are all independent owners. I also told him I saw a coupon online for $ 39.95 for oil change and car wash, and that she wasn’t offered that at any point. He was not offering me that deal even now, but said he was sorry for the confusion. I told Ike he didn’t sound sorry and we wouldn’t be back.

These guys stand by their service!!! If you aren’t satisfied, just let the manager know and they will
make it right.

I went in to get an oil change and have my car detailed. I was asking for and expecting a meticulous job both inside and out, so I was willing to pay a higher price for a higher standard of clean. I was warned it would take several hours, which I appreciated. Of course, the really nice waiting area w/​free coffee and WiFi made the wait simple, and the office staff behind the desk, Jazzy, was lovely!
Anyway, to the point, when my car was done, I took a peak around (nothing too intense) and left to go home, reasonably pleased. They were able to get some pretty caked in stains out of my seats and make everything look shiny & new. When I got home, I had been contacted by Jazzy to say they had forgotten to do something, would I mind coming back? Luckily, I live in the neighborhood next door, so it wasn’t a long drive back. I paid a lot, so I wanted the full service!
I guess what had happened was the guy in charge of the wash piece noticed when I drove off that my car didn’t meet their standards of care. Both he, the manager of the store, and like 3 – 4 other employees were on my car like flies on honey, and started working on the whole thing. They also had a chat with the person who had worked on my car the first time to let him know his work was not up to expectations.
For me, how a business handles their mistakes speaks VOLUMES about their character. The willingness to admit wrong-​doing and then fix the mistake is not an easy thing; pride and ego are difficult obstacles for most. I was informed about the less than stellar reviews on Unilocal,and guess what? The leadership is listening — they are cracking down and setting the bar high. That tends to be SO rare in the service industry. So to everyone who took the time to write a review, you were listened to, and they are working on it. They aren’t perfect, and the comments on high cost are accurate; I’d say for the service and work I got done today, it was worth that cost.
TL;DR: They made a mistake, leadership stepped in and worked hard to correct it, exceeding my expectations. They are paying attention to the feedback and seeking to improve instead of being giant babies and calling Unilocalers idiots. (As I have personally experienced before!)

Great staff, super nice and kwik service. They definitely go way beyond what you would expect from anywhere else you can take you vehicle. Very clean waiting area very spacious, and You could practically eat off the garage floor super clean. I wont be going anywhere else. And anyone giving bad reviews for this place must have personal problems with complaining about life and people in general.

I had a coupon for 50% off a car wash with the purchase of an oil change. Before I was even out of the car the mechanic was trying to sell me additional services. He pushed me into spending almost $ 200.00 on services that I’m not sure I even needed by using scare tactics «your brake line is gonna snap unless we flush it for $ 79.99.»
I chose the $ 35 car wash. They were supposed to clean inside and out. The exterior looks nice. My wheels and tires are shiny. The interior looks almost the same as it did when I dropped it off. They didn’t touch the back windows of my suv, they didn’t vacuum the hard to reach areas, and there’s still dust all over the dash.
I won’t go back. The mechanic was too pushy and the car wash was not worth $ 17.50 (definitely not worth the full price of $ 35!).

Got my car washed here and the service was great. I always have a lot of dog hair in my car and they took extra time to try and get it all. They even sent it back to get vacuumed a second time after they wiped everything on the interior down.
I will come here again.

I came here despite the bad reviews because of its proximity to my house.
It was a bit expensive, but I could not have asked for anything more service-​wise. I brought my car in absolutely filthy from weeks of having a muddy dog in the back seat and a long road and camping trip, and I left with it looking better than when I took it home new from the dealership. They spent a lot of time and had multiple people working on the detailing. Everything is shampooed, fresh, shiny, and smells great. Not a flaw. I’m happy.

I had to check out this nearby car wash. I bought the cheapest wash at $ 16.00. I realize that there are cheaper car washes in the area. Well this place did a quick and terrific job on our car. They wiped it down before it went thru the auto wash. When it finished they wiped it down inside and out. It was super clean. While I waited I had a free cup of good coffee. This is a nice car wash. Glad I went by!

My air conditioner wasn’t working. They have been super helpful and gone above and beyond– everyone from Dan who did the work on my car to the nice young lady in the waiting area who allowed me to use her cell phone (several times) since I left mine at home. I will be back!

First this is a clean and classy place and the workers are friendly. I won’t pay 50% more though for a smile though when it comes to absurd pricing. I have had my truck washed here right after opening and I they did an incredible job for 49.00 it included was, tires, Interior trim and leather condition. Approx 9.00 more than Mr car wash that often rushes their jobs due to volume. I came today to get the same was and it was 100.00 hahahahaha ha wow. I had to scale down and lose half my wash and leather to get the wash down to 50.00 I’m not even sure why the hell I allowed them to touch my truck but I did. Shame on me! I let them know for 49.00 I get everything they offer for 100 at every other car was in Round Rock. I also let the front desk know and asked about the price change. Apparently I was under charged the first time. I will 100%, without a doubt NEVER come back to kwik Kar I’d have to get a Second job just to afford a car wash really disappointed.

Had a good experience with Raine, the inspection guy. And was pleasantly greeted by Jasmine and Jackson.

The staff and management are super nice and awesome!!!
