Worst pool company ever. Conveniently my post from a few months ago was deleted. I read what you said back. You can sugar coat it all you want. We never knew day to day if anyone would show up. Paid $ 70,000 for «all included pool» which included a gas fire pit only to be told later we needed to give ya’ll another $ 2650 to finish the fire pit. Nothing was broken down on the bid as to what costs what. Stupid of us to allow you to «include» everything. You state you gave us upgraded wood brick for firepit? We didn’t ask for that. And will never use it since we asked for and had to pay even more for a gas firepit that was included in our original bid. The so called pool school you came out extra for? Lord, don’t you think if someone pays you $ 73,500 for a pool that you could come out more than once to show us how to work everything? The patio you raised was something you decided to do after you asked us to pay $ 2400 for it. Included in our original bid of $ 70,000 was to grade the yard for runoff. How long have you been in business??? If you bought the patio needed to be raised then why wasn’t in included in the original bid? And the kicker was asking for $ 100 extra at the very end to paint the tiny concrete area the grill sits on that’s attached to the patio cuz it wasn’t included. So petty. Oh, and the texture/​stain we did pay for on the patio is already coming off. And no we didn’t get all the rock garden you stated. Bid said 100 square feet included which you gave us but Dennis drew an extra 50 square feet on the drawing and when we said that also needed to be put in the bid he said the drawing shows 150 square feet so that would be ok. Bull. Don’t trust anything that comes out of their mouths. The work the guys «actually doing the work» was awesome. Beautiful pool. But the management sucks and they will milk you for all they can. Good luck.

Oasis Pools finished our inground pool build. In April 2015, we had hired a different company, Baja Pools, who I had to fire in August 2015 because of many reasons, including the fact that after 4 months my pool was still nowhere near being done and my backyard was a complete mess. In September 2015, I contacted Oasis Pools to help. Oasis came right out to assess the situation and had a plan of action and crew working by the very next day. My pool was done and everything cleaned up by mid-October…Oasis=Amazing!
Our project went very well once Oasis Pools took over. The team there was honest, responsive, patient, and great to work with overall. I’m very pleased with the quality of work they did!

I have had an opportunity to receive service from Oasis Pools after my pool was finished. I have to say, I am very impressed with the level of service I have received. During my project, the owner was doing a walk-​around review and told me to call the company in a year and let them know if any of the grout in the decking needed to be re-​done. In the next year, there were indeed a few cracks that had opened up, which were relatively small and totally normal. Oasis had the decking crew out the next day to address everything, and now it looks great. The construction manager came out the next day to check on the work and he noticed that my pump had a whine to it that didn’t sound normal to him. Within a week, I had a new pump, and it’s much quieter. I also had a very small leak at the stone/​plaster line in my spa, and again, they addressed it immediately. On top of all this, they have always been very responsive to any questions I’ve had on pool operation or pool chemistry. I couldn’t be happier with the service.

I just couldn’t believe that they completed our pool construction within 30 Days when all the other pool builders I spoke with were telling me more than 2 months and one outfit told me 6 months and it was going to be more expensive! Kudos to Ed and the Oasis team for making it happen in exactly 28 days!

Oasis spent hours with me back and forth going over the pool design. I amvery particular about what I want and although I was working with one of Oasis’ newer designers (this process took than I expected), I am very much satisfied with the design and patience the new man Alan displayed while working with me. I would recommend Oasis for designing and best pool options within my budget.

After several fits and starts solely due to Property Mgmt co problems we finally got started construction in April. The construction crew were great. They explained everything as the went and answered all my questions.
The office gals were very helpful in assisting with our tile choice and plaster color.
The rock guy is an artist! Really gave us a unique look from the flatwork to the water wall.
The whole project was delayed due to rain in April and May, but as they say, we needed the rain.
We had a huge family gathering for 4^th of July. The kids (8 from 2 to 16) loved it! The new BBQ outdoor kitchen was great for cooking brats and hamburgers.
Great fun for all!
Thanks to all of Oasis team for giving us just what we asked for and a place the whole family will enjoy for years to come.

Informative and helpful throughout the buying process. Definitely referring these guys to the builders I know.

I have been dealing with oasis pools over the last 4 days on a pool and spa. I was referred to oasis by my buddy rob how also has an awesome pool done by oasis. Then I come to Unilocal and read all of these bad reviews. My mind is blown! Is this even the same company? First off the owner and project manager talked to me face to face. And this Nancy lady I hear about must not be there any more I talked to a lady named Stephanie. But other then that the sales man was very nice as well and hasn’t pressured me one bit. even though I discussed the swimming pool with him for the very first time 3 months ago. Other swimming pool companies I had come out. called me every week wanting to know if we could move forward with the pool. They also offer a safety feature that other companies don’t offer where there are no main drains. So there are no chances for drowning accidents with my two children. So far every thing has been an awesome experience with this company. there are only five bad reviews on here. but I have seen that they have done hundreds of pools since they’ve been open. I’m sure if they were bad as these last 5 reviews they wouldn’t be in business. I’m sure there doing something right to be around 10 plus years. I can’t wait to see the end result. I’ll post pics when it’s done.

Ten days after writing this review I get a call from Nancy, at 7:45 AM– which would have been fine but we are in California, so it’s 5:45 AM. I tell her I’m sleeping and may I call her back? She proceeds to tell me she has read my Unilocal review and would I please remove her name from the review?
This is the kind of customer service I am talking about. They simply don’t care about the real issues at hand.

I wanted to do a follow up and change the review from 1 to 3 stars. They did come out and fix all the cracks in my decking so they took care of me after a long wait. now I just have the issue with cracks in the jacuzzi wall…
I LOOKED for reviews of pool companies but did not find many. I made my decision just before this first one popped up 2÷1÷13 to have Oasis build my pool.
To be fair, they would have gotten five stars in the first year of my pool. I also have problems with my pool cleaner getting stuck in the same place. It is supposed to have a reverse that kicks in automaticly but mine does not seem to work. I have not even complained about that issue. If Oasis would listen to it’s customers complaints, they could actually make some adjustments, curve the pool a bit more in certain spots and the cleaner might actually function as it is supposed to function. Novel idea, listen to customers and make your company GREAT by fixing any issues customers have AND doing it better in the future.
They told me that they would come and fix the cracks in the rock work that they expected to show up after a year. This is where it gets down right annoying. I have to take pictures of the cracks and send them in. WHAT? Yes you have to take a camera and get on your knees and take dozens of pictures of cracks that all look pretty much EXACTLY the same. Download them and email them. I fought them on this because it seemed really stupid, receptionist assured me it was company policy, to which I replied, «it is a stupid policy and should be changed» (silence) Fair enough, took the pics and sent them in, got a nice response that the work order had been placed.
That was on july 23, 2014.
Sent an email a few weeks ago that the work had not been completed and when would they be out to fix the cracks. (Silence)
Just sent another email… lets see what happens, I fear litigation is in order.
My son and I really enjoy the pool, it is gorgeous. It is a shame this company could have had a really positive review from me, but the systemic lack of customer service is going to drive them out of business.
I own my own company, I care about every customer, every review. Every review matters and by the looks of the reviews here, Oasis will not survive long.
Only the cream rises to the top.

If you want these guys to do what they say and communicate, you are barking up the wrong tree. I was hesitant to have a pool put in for several years until my wife and daughter finally convinced me that it was necessary. We negotiated and have the promise of everything we asked for and go ahead with the installation and «patio» stones. After only a few months, I notice spider webbing in the plaster and cracks in the patio. I make them aware by phone call and apparently get forgotten about. After another month, I called back, the owner decides that I must have done something wrong and argues with me that the spider webbing is normal in the plaster. He finally agrees that he should come and check it out. He be out the plaster guys (subcontracted) with him and one of his installers. The plaster guys agree that they must have had an issue and will fix the spider webbing by draining the pool some, cutting the areas out and replacing it. Super, no problem with them. The cracks in the patio are running about 15 feet and the rock around the pool is now separating from the lip of the pool. The owner taps a broom handle on the rocks and figures that there are hollow spots under the newly laid rock. He also figures that we should have had drainage installed under the patio stones for runoff. I had to explain the we were told that his guys would install the drainage if we had the pipes for them, which I had and had placed it outside of the back door where the guys had to move it in order to lay the patio stones. The owner explained that he would send his guys back to lift the rocks and put more base down and replace the rocks and grout and that they would install the drain for us. His guys returned, didn’t lift a single rock, caulked the separation and chipped some of the grout out and regrouted the crack. Well, I didn’t get that drain and the cracks came back and don’t think I’ll ever have thee guys do anything else for me. Be wary of false promises and if you can’t speak Spanish, you can’t talk to any of the workers.

Another Disaster Story — This outfit built my pool in 2009 when we purchased a house in Austin and it was a horrible experience and still is now. I am just now writing this because of a stark reminder of their practices. Most of the comments on the other posts were right in line with my experiences. The salesman named Ron was referred to us by someone I found out was his next door neighbor. Oasis has never met the truth! Every time I turned around they were trying to charge me extra for something claiming it was not included. There was never anyone here to supervise the work just various sub contractor crews would show up and do things for the most part. They guaranteed a 30 day completion — hah that was a joke. More like 3 months and then took a year to get them back out here to make things meet the building code. The City suspended their ability to get building permits until they fixed things or else probably would have never gotten them to fix those problems.
Like others — waterfall leaks and has since it was built and still leaks after they «fixed» it 2 times.
The electrical work was so bad the City inspector made them redo most of it as it was not only illegal but very dangerous. Buried a 60 foot 240 Volt cable less than 6″ underground without conduit or required concrete covering.
The most recent issue that spurred me to write this review was a problem with the pool sweep motor. A PVC pipe fitting broke on the pool sweep pump inlet and it was glued in place which would be fine except they glued the entire pipe string together through 3 T’s and glued it into the electric valve. In the process they glued them all without any spacer pipe in between them so you can’t cut and splice so we are going to have to replace a $ 200 valve also.
All of the equipment is improperly installed causing constant issues when routine maintenance is required. I have also discussed the installation with a couple of pool repair companies out to do work on things and they did not even blink before saying Oasis was one of the worst companies in town.
Worst company of any kind I have ever done business with! And they are also one of the most expensive pool builders in the area but we were looking for a good quality pool not a low bid!

We just moved here in 2011 during the hottest summer on record. Nuff said’, right? We decided to splurge on a family pool. After meeting with several pool contractors, we decided to NOT go with OASIS. I have been wavering on whether to leave this review or not, because we didn’t actually GO THROUGH with an Oasis pool, however, since I’m still steamed about the experience, I thought I’d do some of you a favor. The sales/​design guy that was sent out was so unabashedly rude. I mean, I know I’m in Texas now, but I didn’t think guys like this really existed. Sadly, they do. Here’s some tips Mr. Sales Guy: 1. Do not say to me when you are showing my husband and me the sales booklet that, «Now this section is the technical stuff, you might want me to just talk to your husband about this — cuz you probably aren’t interested in this, and you probably only worked in what, like retail or something?» 2. Don’t say, «you’d probably be more interested in talking about shoes, or something?» 3. Don’t say, «Oh, that’s your girlfriend Kelly on the phone calling? What is there a shoe sale she wants you to check out?»
I wish I were kidding, but alas, I am not. He also didn’t have proper measuring tools with him, came back frequently & was in and out of our yard without notifying us, ringing the doorbell unannounced for the next few days. Geez, were you wondering why I didn’t answer? The whole experience was like a scene from Napoleon Dynamite only I wasn’t buying Tupperware and my guy wasn’t as respectful as Uncle Rico.
For the record, I have my own business… and it has nothing to do with shoes.
ASTONISHINGLY RUDE and demeaning. I don’t know why I didn’t bother to say something there and then, but I think I was just in shock. So much Good Ol’ Boy will get you NOWHERE with me.
Just FYI: We went with a competitor — no hidden cost, no car salesman type pitch, just honest, quick and respectful customer service.

Work with this company started off great, then near the end of construction got sloppy, definately not worth the money spent. The plaster was a nightmare to deal with, the contruction workers left debris, dirt, bags, cardboard boxes in my pool when they filled it with water and now the whole pool looks dirty in spots where I could not remove dirt stains etc. Now, I have to empty the pool and apply an acid wash to see if I can remove the stains. If you want a sparkling pool, dont go with this company.
