A&S Landscape Maintenance

Alex is a great man, landscaper, and gardener! He’s been servicing our home for 5 months now and I don’t think I’ll ever have to look for another gardener service!
He’s extremely knowledgeable on plants, hoses, watering, and sprinklers! Not to mention his response time via text is quick! He can service your home via appointment or if he’s in the area he can do it right there and then. Price is fair but I think his work speaks for itself. He and his crew are professionals and would recommend to anyone who needs a gardener.
In addition, he’s extremely great with pets and normally my dogs takes awhile for them to get used to loud equipments and other people but Alex knew how to handle then properly and they can garden and clean my backyard with the dogs in there with them! Very happy and grateful of their work!

Alex and his team did a fantastic job on our lawn and palm trees. He is a miracle worker especially after just getting out of surgery. In order for his stitches to heal, we agreed to postpone the palm tree trimming to the following week and had the complete gut job of our lawn and surrounding hills done first. That job was amazing. Then, when Alex finished the palm tree trimming today it looks like Disneyland and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you Alex, you’re the best!

Far from expectations. I located A & S via Unilocal and saw all the positive reviews and figured I would utilize his services. He agreed to show up on a weds evening at 5 p for a quote and then he text me At 430 p that he wasn’t going to be able to make it he was stuck on a job. Understandable stuff happens but red flag 1. Next he showed up Friday and told me he would give yard a natural look and not butcher flowerbeds. We worked out a price and he agreed he would start weekly service on Fridays. The first scheduled service on Friday he was a NO SHOW. It’s drizzled in the early morning so figured maybe that’s why he didn’t show up hoping so. The following Friday NO SHOW again. I called and text him and Alex text me back family emergency and that was all. Ok so I tried to be understandable but this is now 3 weeks since I hired him. He finally shows up and does a typical mow blow and go. Doesn’t touch flowerbeds and is gone in 15 minutes. Very POOR job. The following Friday NO SHOW once again. So my impression is Alex abandoned the job. He has horrible communication and is irresponsible. I wouldn’t trust him as a weekly gardener to show up let alone do the job he promised. Look elsewhere for gardening service folks. Be aware Unilocal is filled with non verified positive reviews. Mine is 100% honest as I’m not a fan of leaving a bad review unless it will admit others no experience what I have.

We have been switching to A&S landscape Alex for two months now, and we love our yard more and more because he did wonderful job for us, he fixed pipe, taking care all the trees and bushes carefully and he take extra steps helping me put our losing yard wires in the right place for us. Strongly recommend Alex as your gardener!
