This location is closing down!!! Everything must goooo!!! The entire store is on sale. You can find anything from groceries to vitamins to plastic toys for your kids here for at least 25% off. The sign said they’re closing on Oct 31st or whenever they run out of inventory.

Another super market about to bite the dust! Sad, first it we lost Alpha Beta then Lucky’s. 2 Ralph’s in my area packed up and left! Now adiós Albertson’s(several so-cal locations closing) Do we really need any more Hispanic Super stores or Asian super 99 ranch type markets! Let me guess one will be here in this location soon enough. As for the 3 stars… just an OK now, was a fan and used to enjoy this location but since you are closing up and leaving us then i must down grade! On my latest visit i found things starting to get thin and shelves looking bare, sad. Still a little high on the prices, come on guys you are closing! Start the sale!

Great clean store! The employees are all pretty cool and nice people. Organized and easy to find the items I need. Lines during the weekdays are not long at all so i can pickup my goods and get out very fast.

I love my local Albertson’s! The staff are always friendly and willing to help you find what you are looking for. This store has a bakery, selss flowers, liquor, ice and pretty much any food item that you are looking for. The B of A branch is now gone, however you can always buy something and get cash back with your purchase when you use your debit card. Don’t forget to bring your own bags :)

//LOCATION //Corner of Fairway and Colima in the same plaza as Starbucks, McDonalds, and Yogurtland //SERVICES //Also contains a Bank of America ATM and a Red Box //PRODUCTS // I visit here for the huge loafs of french bread that are baked fresh throughout the day. Super cheap and great for being glutinous sub sandwiches.

Great Albertsons. It’s so sad that a bunch of them in the SGV have closed, but this one is convenient for me since it’s on my way to work. This Albertsons is very organized and they pretty much always have a lot of items in stock. In the morning I usually interact with the cashier, Phil. At times he just says«okay» instead of «hello/good morning» or «good bye/thank you for shopping at Albertsons». At other times, he’s in a great mood and chats with the customers. The customer service from the employees is usually pretty good though :D

This is my favorite Albertsons. It is clean, it’s layout is convenient, and the customer service great for the most part. I especially would like to highlight the customer service from the produce section, pharmacy, and cashier. The produce section makes sure that they say hi to you, the pharmacy gets things done fast and prompt, and the cashiers try to make small talk with you which is really nice.

This place is always convenient because it’s right on Colima and it’s also walking distance from my beloved Yogurtland/Pinkberry. Well actually, it’s just that I frequent this plaza alot so it’s just right there for whatever I need. Anyways, the main thing I love about here is their two red box machines. You can rent a movie for only $ 1! I also like how their Arizona teas are sometimes on sale for 79 cents instead of 99 cents and their family sized chips! The other things that make this place stand out are their amazing cookies in the bakery section and the potato wedges/fried chicken in the deli section. For groceries, I would probably go to Target because it can be pretty pricey here unless it’s on sale. I always come into Albertson’s if I’m strolling in this plaza and need someplace cool to settle. They’ll let you wander around, even if you don’t buy anything. Note#1: They don’t carry Bank of America anymore, so you have to go somewhere else to turn in your checks. Note#2: You can buy balloons here for events, but they’re pretty pricey. Note #3: Bring in your recycling receipt from the little hut in the parking lot to redeem your money. Note#4: They do not give out any plastic bags, so be prepared to carry out your own goods or buy one of their re-usable bags.

I like the convenience of this market because its relatively close to my house. This place has gotten better since they added two redbox machines, making movie night cheaper in my household. My review might sound incomplete since I don’t buy from their deli, bakery, or pharmacy department. When I do come here, I buy all the other available products they have in stock that is not made from them. If you are Asian like me and use plastic bags as trash bags in your house, do NOT go here to buy. A recent law passed that forcefully bans distribution of plastic bags around the area. So if you do buy anything here, you should bring a reusable bag because there are three alternative ways of walking out of there with your products. 1. You can buy their reusable bags for a dollar each 2. Spend 10¢ for each paper bag 3. Walk out carrying everything in your hands like a boss 4. Use the push cart to bring them to your car and try to make sure they don’t move around. In order to save money at this place, you’ll need an Albertsons card which you can get at the front. They’ll ask if you want to add more information, but the card alone is good enough. My parents has lost so many cards in the past, yet they still ask for them. So, there is always a good chance that you can ask for a new one even if you forget to bring your card. Oh, I saw a cockroach near the redbox machine and told an employee. She said ew and did other stuff. This place does have those pest traps, but I did not see the cockroach go in it. It may still be roaming around the place. Final Note: No plastic bags, not sure about other departments. Redbox machines are awesome.

This review is for the bakery. I’ve ordered 3 birthday cakes from them in the past 6 months for my kids. The staff has been friendly but they seem to rotate them out frequently since I’ve dealt with someone different each time. I had ordered a cupcake cake for my daughter over a week before her birthday. I thought if I ordered ahead of time, I would get what I(she) wanted. However, the day before they were to make her cake, I got a call that they didn’t have the cupcake flavors I had initially order over a week ago. Their reason was they had a big weekend order and ran out of cupcake flavors. They were apologetic but gave no other alternatives(i.e. get cupcakes from another Albertsons, do a rush order and etc…). With less than 24 hour notice, I had no choice but to accept what they have on hand since I didn’t want to take a chance I could order the same design elsewhere. What a disappointing customer service moment.

a great variety of fresh foods. organization is not as easy to find your way around since the freezer is in the middle of the aisles(compared to others when they are on the edges). Must know what you are getting beforehand or you will end up walking down the aisles several times.

Prices are way inflated. But the location is convenient. Employees are really friendly. I go here mostly for the Redbox and the Bank of America instead(which I believe is open on Sundays). My biggest complaint is the kids soliciting outside the store.

As with most Albertsons, the items they sell are way over price – plain and simple. Basically, I come here to rent videos from their self-service video rental vending machine. Hassle free and I’m on my way as a happy camper!

Some days I just feel really cheap about food. That’s when places like Costco and Target come in. Adding to my cheap eats list is Albertson’s deli. Basic sandwiches for $ 2.99, wraps are $ 3.99, chicken caesar salad for $ 4.99 a lb, zesty chicken wings $ 5.99 a lb, soup for $ 2.49 a cup and $ 3.99 for a bigger cup. I picked up 0.68lbs of chicken caesar salad for ony $ 3.39! A steal for lunch. It’s quite substantial too. Giant pieces of rotisserie chicken. I think I got more chicken than lettuce. Also super saucy. I would suggest combing this with one of their prepackaged caesar salads to lessen the sauciness. Can I mention the zesty chicken wings again? They are sooo very good! The people who work here are also very very pleasant. I love the self checkout lines and it’s never really busy.

I lovingly call this«my Albertsons». I have been to quite a few Albertsons, and this particular one stands out above a most of the others. It’s not the newest, but it has been renovated, and is more up to date than a lot of other markets I have been to. The staff is great. A few of them have been there quite a while, and though it is rare that I need assistance, they still greet me with a smile, and friendly hello. The store itself is always fully stocked. Items that I can’t find at other locations, I can usually find here. The Deli and bakery sections are large and carry a nice assortment of food items. The staff here are friendly as well, sometimes even calling across the counter to give you a warm friendly greeting. As a result of this combination of service, product availability, and environment, this Albertsons is one of the few grocery stores that I still frequent. Make sure you get your Preferred Customer card, as this will save you money both in store, and through direct mail coupons.
