Chong Hing Jewelers

So I called to get some prices and the person that answered the phone did not speak English. I asked her if this was a jewelry store because I could not understand her and she yelled yes it is. This lady was very rude and should not be a customer service or answer the phone. Only gave this place a 1 star because it would not let me post without it

I bought a st. Dupont lighter at Chong hing today. Their service is very good. And the they gave me a surprising discount too. Definitely coming back for future watch purchses

Right after we posted the review we received numerous phones from Linda at the store to resolve the issue. She was courteous to my hubby over the phone and made several attempts for an appointment with us. Unfortunately we’ve been busy til yesterday but finally got the links we ordered. Now we just have to go back to get them installed since the tech was not available at the time we picked up the merchandise.
Glad to see management on top of their game in monitoring these reviews. Though it shouldn’t have reached this point to begin with, we’re glad it was followed up on and resolved.

Love this place! Came in to get my third Omega and Jane Wang was nothing but an absolute delight to work with! Her professionalism and attitude were above and beyond my expectations and I received absolutely stellar service. Out of this world!
I don’t know what y’all are saying about the shady pricing. To beat a smooth negotiator you got to BE a smooth negotiator.
In the future, I think I’ll be coming here to get my fourth, fifth and sixth Omegas!. A tip for dissatisfied customers: treat the sales associates like human beings instead of getting angry or frustrated! Treat people how you want to be treated (;

A lot of 1 – 2 star reviews, but this place isn’t really that bad. Some one said its for FOBs, well; considering its locations, why not. It is for FOBs, if your not a FOB you should be at Ben bridge and pay the overprice.
Then someone rated one star because he was offer 2k discount to close the deal! That, I don’t understand, isn’t that a good thing? Btw, who buys a watch without negotiating?
In — out — price changed… that is very common, if you’ve done your homework and the price is right. Close the deal and you would have been happier! Some sales over promise to make a deal, when you leave, they realize they’ve offered too much.
Overall; if your only window shopping it’s not the best place to visit, but if your ready to buy, their price is generally pretty good.

Came in with my Aunt to get our watch batteries changed and asked the sales lady if she had time to do so. She accepted the work and went to the back room. Within 10min a tour bus dropped off a bunch of tourist shoppers who came into the store. She came out with one watch completed and asked us to wait while she waited on 4 customers over 60min! When I asked her to just give me my watch back after 30min, she said she had already opened the watch and to wait and walked away. OMG! If she had it open why didn’t she just take 5 min to finish the job! I am so angry. Just because I am not here to drop $ 10k on a watch doesn’t mean I shouldn’t be treated like a customer. I was actually interested in a Piaget watch and was going to ask her about it but after being treated like this, I would not buy anything from this very unprofessional place of business.
Chong Hing, you lost a serious sale. It is also unprofessional to treat any customers like this. Learn how to be an actual luxury retailer or close your business!

Came here looking for an Omega. I already had a fairly good idea about current market price on the watch. The sales lady gave me a price that was way higher than the going rate. When I told her what I believe the reasonable price should be, she quoted me a price somewhat close to the market price. However, she denied ever quoting me that price when I came back about 40 minutes later.
There’s another shop by the same name in DTLA. They are just as shady on pricing. It’s as if they are just out to pull a fast one. It is very very sad that people operate like this.
I ultimately bought the watch at another place. Way better customer service and competitive price without all the hassle and games.
Do NOT buy from any of their shops. Do your research and give your business to people who are professional and appreciates it. Even if you have to pay a couple more bucks, at least you are giving merit to their service.

Shady place, don’t ever buy anything from this place, unless you are a «fob», or someone who doesn’t speak English and doesn’t mind getting ripped off by rude sales peep.
Came here to look at some watches. The sales lady was very aggressive and the prices she gave us were all over the place. She finally gave us a price we thought was fairly reasonable (we did our research on the watch ahead of time) but we wanted to think about it over lunch so we told her we will come back after we go eat. She said ok. When we went back after lunch, the price went up almost 25%!!! She denied ever giving us the earlier price and said whatever price she gave us earlier was the price at that time. Gee, I didn’t know inflation was 25% an hour!
Will not return to this place.

Don’t EVER buy anything from this place!
I came here to see if they can fix my band on my watch. The guy that usually do the repair was not working today. They asked if I wanted to leave the watch overnight to get a quote. I said no because I wasn’t comfortable leaving my watch overnight.
I was then looking at their collection of Omega watches and asked to try on one of their watches. Oh what a mistake! I should of walked out after inquiring about the repair on my watch.
After saying no when they asked if I wanted to buy their watch, the saleslady got very aggressive with me & trying to close the sale on me! Goodness, it was to the point where she dropped $ 2,000 on the price tag to make a sale. On top of that the manager came close to me and the saleslady to hear and see what was going on.
So if somebody come in and buys a watch without negotiating the price, this means that they are most likely overpaying for anything that they have for sale there. No thank you, I’d rather take my money elsewhere!

Walked in to have my $ 4000 Speedmaster Pro’s bracelet resized. Not to mention that that I had been a long time customers of this place. Yet when a flock of mainland Chinese tourists rushed into the store, the manager quickly walked away from me without a word and started to help out the so-​called potential wealthier customers! What the freak! Just because I had already spent tens of thousands on watches at the store I am no longer a valued customer because you guys have new money coming in?!
Time to take my business else where, in my opinion. Sorry Chong Hing, you just lost yourself a long time watch collector!

Good service and perfect discount~ I was served by a server named Linda Chen~ She is friendly and even gave me the Grammy VIP ticket! I would go there again because of the great service and perfect discount.

I just bought Omega watch from this store and was helped by a sales rep named Jane. She doesn’t speak perfect English, but she’s friendly and gave a good price (lower than Omega dealer price tag). In the past, I used to go to Chong Hing in San Gabriel until I met Wendy there. She’s a b****. She’s rude and very unprofessional (see my other review for SG). For service, I usually go to Omega in Beverly Hills. The price difference is not much but you get way better customer service.

Do NOT go to Chong Hing Jewelers Rowland Heights. I brought in a watch I bought here to get it fixed because the stem wouldn’t wind up and is stuck. The problem is not with the watch being broken. When I went in, the lady at the counter proceeded to help me and after asking me if I spoke mandarin, I proceeded to speak in mandarin since her «engrish» is hurtful to my ears. Then, she asked me if I can speak cantonese. WTH, as if it matters because she can speak mandarin fluently and can understand what the problem with the watch was. I told her no and her tone completely changed and did not want to help me because I cannot speak cantonese and told me to wait for the other lady to finish up with another customer. She proceeded to talk with another employee about lunch and what they were going to eat. Keep in mind that there were 3 employees, 1 security guard, and only 2 customers in the store including me. After 20 mins of waiting and watching her walk around the empty store doing nothing, another girl told her to help me. She then reluctantly took out an invoice to write me up for my watch to send to manufacture for repairs. She barely wrote down the watch brand when the other lady finished with the other customer. She then gave the repair invoice to her and told her to help me. WTF Is this any way to treat a customer? I have bought 3 watches from this place totaling $ 13.5k and will NOT be going back. Total time wasted: 52 mins.

I want give them minus 1 000 000 stars. They sucks!!! I bought a $ 6000 omega from them last year. It comes with leather strap. After wear it for 1 year, the strap’s old so I want to order a metal bracelet from Chong Hing. The sales their told me it costs over $ 1000 for a bracelet. I was shocked and told her, that’s cost almost as a new watch! She said, yes, that’s why we always ask our customer to buy a new watch instead of ordering the bracelet. What the hell?!! What about the $ 6000 watch I have??? And, the sales said, who sold you the watch? I told her the sales’ name and she said, I don’t know why she didn’t do it, usually if i sell you the watch, I will ask you to order the watch with the metal strap and just add the leather one separately. That would only cost you $ 100. WTF!!! Why do you tell me this now??? Anyway, I called Omega myself and found out the metal bracelet cost $ 480. They gave me the number of one of their authorized dealer Ben Bridge in Corona, and the sales there are very nice. I ordered from them instead. Don’t ever go to Chong Hing. They overpriced their products and let you bargain with them. And after you got the watch, they do nothing for you anymore other than try to get more money from you. They really Sucks!!!
