Very cheap and delicious authentic Chinese food. They have a huge selection. Was impressed how good everything tastes. I got a 3 item combo for $ 5.30 and it came with rice, soup, and a free milk tea. Will definitely be back.

The worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with over the phone. Very unprofessional and rude. I would recommend not ordering from here. Hanging up on me just because they dont understand that much English. Well this is AMERICA and you should learn better english when dealing with cutomers that will know english and not just chinese. VERYDISAPPOINTED but not surpised.

tip: when picking your 3 items, go with the most desired choice first like a meat entrée; that way, the owner fills it up on the largest section of the 3 section tray. $ 5 for 3 item combo with rice, soup, and boba milk tea. Smoked chicken is actually pretty good, not fatty at all. Support the underdog! Forget rolling wok, go with eastern express café!

My Chinese friend took me here one day and I never wanted to leave. I started coming here when it was $ 3.75 for 3 items, rice, soup, and boba milk tea! Since then the price has gone up, but not by much. This is not only the best price in town for a full meal, the food is amazing as well.

this place is like a mini rolling wok. i think they even server the same things but just not as many selections. this place is cash only but it only cost 5 bucks even for a 3 item combo that includes rice, soup, and a drink. this place is nice and lets you take your time, unlike rolling wok. the only reason i gave it a 3 star instead of 4 is because the fried chicken i got tasted like they added a bit too much salt and msg, the veggie i ordered tasted a bit bitter, and the chow mein was a bit too oily. the soup was like an egg corn soup which could have had more egg and corn instead of just all liquid. their boba drink wasnt that tastful either. i hope i didnt discourage you. you should at least try it once. they pack the food to the max!

Food was mediocre. I mean for the price you get alot and some boba but didn’t enjoy it at all. All the dishes tasted the same and some looked like they’ve been sitting under the hot lamps for hours… glad I didn’t get a stomach-ache.

I have lived in this city for oh soo many years on and off, but hometown city food always seem to fulfill my appetite… UHMM sometimes. So ask me why I have not tried this place for all these years? I don’t know… it never really caught my attention and it did not look like a place where I would like the food. Usually when the bf eat in Rowland Heights and want some fast, Chinese food… we run to across the street(from this place) which is in the SF market plaza. Similar types of food selection and ground rules–«3-items» So here’s why I am giving it 4 stars Pro: NO stingy-ness going on at this location. FULLY packed and leftovers for lunch **thumbs up Food is really authentic, not much of the regular Cantonese Chinese to-go– food it’s more like Authentic Chinese– China food The owner of the location was fairly nice to his customers and other people.(There was an old man sitting in front of the restaurant and was sweating really bad, owner had offered him a glass of ice water) Very Nice Last but not least – 3-items, soup, rice, milk tea is only $ 5.00 Cons: A bit dirty AC does not work No chow-mien :( I guess we found our new Chinese Fast food restaurant nearby, please add chow-mein if possible… PLEASEEEEE

Have to say I am pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. This is truly considered a home cooked Chinese meal. I brought some home for dinner and my mother was also pleased. This is the type of cooking she remembered my grandfather making. The food is well cooked and not greasy at all. Even though this is 5 bucks a 3 item plate don’t come down with the Americanized Chinese Fast Food mind set. You won’t find any of those dishes here. What you will find is a wide variety of meat, fish, and veggies. You shouldn’t have any trouble finding something you like. I you like a little spicy, I recommend the Mapo doufu(tofu).

This hole on the wall is exactly what authentic is saying. Real Chinese mainland and Shanghai foods. Nothing like those American Chinese Fast Food place those starchy oily salty foods. HUGE portion and very fresh materials. Clean but small place. You may only want’em for to go. But for the price and tasted foods, I will come back again and again. Current price is 5 bucks per 3 items combo, n u also get a cup of soup, milk tea, and separated box of rice. The big box only contain 3 delicious of your choices. So dm awesome. Egg plant is unbelievable, that everyone needs to try. Other stuff are so yummy too, no matter pork, beef, chicken, blablabla… A lot of choice, I say about 20 different choices for your each meal, and none of them are those you saw in Chinese Fast Food place. I’m a big fan, then.

You have to try their eggplant. It is so darn tasty. I wish they allow me to choose 3 eggplants as the course of the meal :)

Great deal and they load up the to-go box with food instead if giving you just a tiny scoop. Although I eat a lot, I can definitely make the 3 item combo last into two meals without difficulty. Obviously, not the cleanest most sanitary appearing place since this a hole in the wall Chinese fast food restaurant. Their menu does change slightly from day to day On the salty side, so you may want to eat this with plain congee.

This is your Chinese«moms» fast food … quite the bang for your buck … and stomach as well. For $ 4.50 you get 3 entres of your choice, soup, rice, and a boba ice tea. Can’t beat that! Service — cashier/server is really quick and prompt Cleanliness — staff cleans the tables as soon as customers vacate Price — $ 4.00 to $ 4.50 Seafood — I believe there is shrimp and maybe squid Meats — meatballs, salty chicken, wings, big ears, etc. Dessert — n/a Fruits — n/a Other — I think the best part is having the soup, which is always delicious.
