I went to this place with Debra R. I got the sea salt chocolate milkshake and Debra R got a coffee mug. The milkshake was really good and the service was friendly.

I have now tried their green tea and sea salt caramel milkshakes. They’re okay I guess but I like the milk (honey?)flavor the best.
Also finally tried the HoneyMee. You know the one with the actual honeycomb on top. BLERGH. Never again. I had beeswax stuck in my teeth for the rest of the day. Give me a sweetie anytime instead.

Whenever my sister come to my area to visit she likes to stop by here. I personally think the soft serve is not creamy enough and I find it kind of icy and bland. I rather go to McDonald’s. But honey and ice cream does go well together.
This location is kind of hidden in the center of yes plaza and parking is a pain majority of the time. Ok outdoor seating area when it is nice out and when people are not smoking and vaping around you. But this area of the plaza is not the cleanest since the seating is shared with so many other establishments.
2 stars for me. But this is an ok stop if you happen to be in the plaza and you’re seeking dessert.

Ice cream and honey? What a neat concept! I ordered the Sweetie and was surprised about the portion. The cup was TINY and the ice cream-​to-​honey proportion was heavily skewed. I would describe it as a «drizzle» of honey in a cup of ice cream. The honey itself was delicious, but again, you can’t really mess up on organic honey. Ice cream? Tasted like normal ice cream to me. I wouldn’t say I would come back to this place again unless I’m in the area. I usually basedmy future visits to any food place on one question: Would I ever crave this stuff again? Unfortunately, for Honeymee, my answer is No.
PS. There is a very unpleasant smell at this location and minimal seating since it is shared with other businesses. You can always sit outside but it smells like sewage which didn’t add to the experience.

Almost everything has a bit of honey drizzled on it or infused in it. Excited to try their flavors like the sweetie with 100% natural honey and true milk ice cream or the honey affogato. I tried the dear which has ghiradelli choc syrup and sea salt sprinkles and accompanied it with iced green tea! Not overly sweet but satisfying the needed sugar fix.
Prices range from $ 3.50−4.50.

Great spot to hit up after Dim Sum in the area. My friend and I weren’t ready to say good bye so we found this place to hang out in and grab something sweet.
Super cute outdoor sitting area — where you feel like you are lounging under the façade of a Parisian courtyard. Very relaxing but the metal seats are not the most comfortable.
The Honeybee is super adorable but maybe just stick to their ice cream drinks. We ended up eating around the sweet roll. It got hard with the cold ice cream and then soggy once the ice cream started melting. But still it was all delicious!
Love my hot tea and my friend’s Honeyshake was yummy too.

Honeybee is a cute small shop tucked in the corner of the main plaza. I went in the evening and the shop wasn’t crowded at all!
Upon A friend’s recommendation, I got the ‘Sweetie’ ice cream! It was 4.25 — however, if you check in on Unilocal,there’s a discount! You show your checkin to the cashier and they’ll give you a discount (I think it was like $ 0.25 or something)
The soft serve icecream itself was milky and creamy… absolutely lovely! The honey was sweet and worked very well with the soft serve ice cream.
Overall a very pleasant experience!

People might be a bit too rough on their reviews, because they had high expectations from a popular name. If you crave a variety of flavors, this isn’t the place for you. However, if you admire simplicity in a cup with a little bedazzle, try it out. Honeymee may not be my all-​time favorite ice cream, but it’s still pretty good.
Also, this place is called «HONEYMEE», so it’s clearly known for its honey. In all means, try its specialty! I mean I don’t go to a steak house and order a salad as my main dish (unless I was vegetarian and hanging with friends.) In other words, if you order the «darling» without adding toppings, be realistic with your expectations; you ordered plain ice cream!
The ice cream itself is pure, milky, and thick while the honey comb provides some sweetness. The texture of the honey comb is a little strange, so I ordered the «sweetie» which is the ice cream with the honey drizzled over it.
The cost is about $ 4.50, which I think is pretty reasonable considering multiple ice cream joints are selling at this price. For those who are unsure about the portion, I feel like it is the perfect amount, if not, then too much. I didn’t stop to wish I had more. I did stop halfway because I was too full, but I pushed through.
Overall, I wouldn’t go out of my way to get it, but if I was in the plaza and craving ice cream, I would order it.

This is my 2^nd time at this location and I love how it’s more convenient than their original Ktown location where there’s no parking in that area. Here, there’s plenty of plaza parking space and on top of that, there are plenty of other things to do here with shopping, food options, other dessert options like tea and drinks if you’re not feeling soft serve ice cream and just overall a nice plaza for people to hang out and catch up.
We found this location pretty empty late on a weekend and probably catching them towards the tail end of their hours since there were plenty of shop workers working, but no customers in line. We quickly chose the HoneyMee with the waxy honeycomb and quickly grabbed other snacks and desserts from other spots to make our own little smörgåsbord of goodies with different options to eat and drink. As we dipped into the soft-​serve with a little bit of honey, we were left somewhat disappointed as the honeycomb tasted bitter to me and even my friend who is a lover of all things dessert couldn’t eat more than of the HoneyMee because it just wasn’t that good.
Granted, I’ve been here before and it was better the first time, this time they just fell short of expectations and ruined the first experience of HoneyMee for my friend. Oh wells, hit and miss experiences makes this place inconsistent which is why it earned just an «OK» rating from me.

We finally got a chance to try this highly raved about Honeymee! This place is super tiny and located in the corner of Yes Plaza next to the noodle shop. The menu is super simple with pretty much milk ice cream with your choice of toppings or shakes. The prices start at $ 3.50 for you plain old soft serve to $ 4.75 for the signature honeymee with honeycomb chip. Waffles are an extra $ 0.25 more!
The overall flavor of the soft serve is just isn’t that exciting to be honest. It’s abit lacking in any distinct flavor besides some straight up frozen sweet milk. It’s not tangy or overly sweet, just milky and creamy. I guess they really depend on your add-​on toppings to get this thing over top magically delicious? But sadly no. We tried to honeymee and it just wasn’t all that exciting. Yes you get honey and a nice little honeycomb chip on your soft serve. But yeah i can make this at home too for much less then $ 5 especially for the serving size.
Overall yeah if you haven’t tried it yet you should try it at least once. But it’s not something to be lining up for or going crazy over with the variety of frozen dessert choices nowadays.

I think Honeymee should collaborate with the Cheerios Bee and do a commercial or something! But what do I know about that???
One thing I do know is good ice cream!
I stopped in to check out the spot on the weekend and almost gave up!!! That little plaza was so confusing. Ok is you not I circled the block. I circled the plaza! I crossed the street lol I probably looked like a crackhead that got ahold of the wrong stuff. But at the end of the day I found Honeymee and let me tellll you, it was worth the struggle haha
Simple yet so good! I want sure what the place was all about until my friend gave me the deets. But who can turn some ice cream. I certainly can’t. I didn’t know what to get but it seems to me that The Sweetie & The Honeymee are the top picks. So I went with The Honeymee. I was so fascinated by the little honeycomb cube. I also wanted The Sweetie because of all the drizzled honey on top which by the way makes the whole thang POP!
So yea like I was saying. I got The Honeymee and asked for extra honey drizzled on top. That was free by the way. If you want an extra honeycomb cube, they will charge you $ 1.25 extra. It’s good but not THAT good.
When getting the little cube the trick is to not get it deep in the ice cream other wise it will take a lot of energy to eat that frozen honey.

Without a doubt I’m a fan of Honeymee but the service at this location was lackluster. It took the two workers 5 long minutes to even acknowledge that there were customers in their tiny, tiny space.
Getting ice cream should be simple: come up to the counter, order, and pay. The fact that the two workers didn’t put their conversing to a halt when they saw that there were customers waiting is a big no-​no. They also weren’t the friendliest. Granted Honeymee ice cream is and always will be amazing to me but the whole experience was just off-​putting.
Like I already mentioned, space is very tiny. They share an outside patio with other businesses in this corner of a huge plaza. It’s a cute little area with ample seating and parking for a Sunday afternoon. I just hope the management doesn’t fail to realize that service is as equally important as their exquisite ice cream that many have come to love so much.

I’ve already waxed lyrically (and quickly) about how good Honeymee and their milk ice cream with honeycomb is on my review of their Sawtelle location. So imagine my absolute delight to realize that there was a Honeymee location literally five minutes from where I live! Basically, the only thing I needed to see here was whether the quality of this location was as good as Sawtelle.
Mission accomplished. Here’s your five stars.

Smooth, rich, and creamy soft serve drizzled with high quality honey! The concept is simple and the result is delicious. It’s pricey given the size but treat yoself!
I recommend the Honeymee which is soft serve topped with a honeycomb.

Glad to have a Honeymee close by! This location is primary a take-​out counter; no dedicated seating area for Honeymee patrons. It is located in the Yes Plaza food court area, flanked by No. 1 Noodle House and Tea Bar. I can imagine access to this Honeymee would be a total mess during peak times, since Yes Plaza itself doesn’t have enough parking…
Honeymee’s «true milk ice cream» is very unique in flavor. If you don’t like the taste of milk, I suggest staying away from this. The whole concept highlights the milky flavor with honey/​caramel/​chocolate/​other flavors as secondary complements, unlike the typical American ice cream. Since it is originally a Korean brand, the ice cream isn’t too sweet nor too thick; definitely more like the consistency of soft serve ice cream.
Love the new flavors, primarily the affogato ice cream (milk ice cream + honey + coffee). So good! They also offer shakes for the dextrously impaired&/lazy, and hot tea. Most add-​ons [waffle cone, toppings (e.g. roasted almonds, granola)] are only 25 cents more, which imho is pretty affordable for this day and age. The ice cream can be a bit pricey (~$ 3.50 — $ 5) for the volume, but Honeymee follows the new trend of novel ice creams.
Currently, the establishment only takes credit card for orders over $ 5.

Tried this place one day after Banana Bay and the place is super cute and kind of hidden-​I had no idea there was a Honeymee here.
My friend and I both got the Honeymee and it was okay, I liked how it was creamy and all but it got much too rich nearing the end. It was a hot summer day and all of it literally just melted and it was super gross. He drank it like milk and it didn’t look very appetizing to me anymore.
I didn’t really enjoy it but to each their own. The honeycomb was a little weird as well cause I didn’t know what to do with it.

Great dessert place for sit down or to go. Been here twice and love their soft serve options. First time, tried the sweetie which is milk ice cream with honey swirl. Second time, tried the Affogato which is the sweetie with coffee poured on top. My friend got the original honeymee milk shake and loved it.
Customer service is excellent with little to no wait time. It’s located in a plaza next to several restaurants. Would recommend this dessert place.

It’s like ice cream soft serve except higher quality. It’s not too sweet and it’s nice and creamy and milky. The honey doesn’t taste any different than your store bought honey. It’s expensive and small but it’s a nice treat once in a while or to try!

Oh Honeymee, your soft serve brings back memories of Japan. The aroma and the taste of true milk is the best you can get compared to the other ice creams that are drenched with tons of vanilla extracts.
Honeymee is located in that tiny «food court» looking area. It’s right between Ichi Ichi and Phoenix. So after dinner one night, we decided to give it a try. They have a very simple menu. You can either get their soft serve plain and by itself, with chocolate drizzled, with honey drizzled, or with a honeycomb sitting on top. The honeycomb being on top is definitely something you don’t see everyday. however, to me, it seems like a novelty. I mean, I don’t think I want to eat a honeycomb. So in the end, we ordered the one with drizzled honey.
My friend, my sister, and I shared one order. I typically don’t eat a lot of ice cream so it was perfect for sharing. It was really yummy with the honey. My sister LOVED it and of course, I welcome anything that brings my mind back into vacation mode. HAHA. Honeymee is NOT the same as Japanese soft serve but the flavor is close. The true milk taste is on the weaker side when compared though.
I wish that they had some indoor seating. It was cold outside so eating ice cream in this weather certainly didn’t help. Their soft serve was also on the icier side. I’m not sure if it was just that night or the texture fluctuates from time to time. I will be back though. I gotta come here with my boyfriend! He’s going to love it!

Simplicity is beauty. So is soft serve with raw honey.
Their ice cream are fresh, California milk from a family-​owned, certified Kosher dairy factory + no artificial colors or flavors added to it. The raw honey and honeycombs are 100% pure and natural from a local certified bee farm.
The quality here is a little above Cremebee. Nothing too extreme though.
Sweetie (4.25): Got the basic 100% natural honey swirl with the true milk ice cream. After a while the honey hardens and becomes sticky in between your teeth. That would be my only complaint. Other than that it was soooo fresh and delicious.
Outside the place there is a outdoor patio that’s very well decorated. I LOVE the decors and the atmosphere. Although late at night there were more thug/​ABG teeny boppers. Didn’t bother me though.
