My garage door has always been loud when open and close. I didn’t bother to do anything until recently. I Unilocal garage repair and decided to call the nearest one. Jose was able to come to my place the same day. Jose was professional and clear on explaining the new garage opener I got. If you are ever needing to repair your garage door, call Jose. Very friendly and easy going guy, the «trolley» on my garage door broke this morning, called up Jose «Joe» and he was able to come out after hours and fixed my garage within 30mins, his rates are very reasonable and my garage works better and sounds wayy smoother after he worked on it. My husband and I have been looking for a garage door Co for several months, we checked
into the ads sent to us by lows and Home depot but the reviews were terrible… So I researched Unilocal and found Jose and his reviews were awesome. I know, I know, sometimes we think we can relay on something so good… right? Wrong… He is the most professional self employed gentleman we have come across in a long time… The quality of his work and his work ethics are outstanding .We had our door put in Sept 29 and it is is beautiful and is so quiet! I called at 1pm, Jose called back at 2pm, very knowledgable (I always do my research and this guy know what is talking about). he was here at 4pm as promised. 2 hours later, my garage door is working beautifully with a new spring system.
Jose did a number of extras, replacing aging parts and lubing all the joints and rollers. All the extras for free!

I received quick and reasonable service for repairing a garage door. He arrived within 2 hours of my call. I appreciate his honesty and reliability.

Called Jose Jimenez Garage Doors and he was able to fit me in the next day. When I texted him, he was quick to respond and answer my questions. When I call him on the phone, he was patient in answering my questions. The garage rail broke off from the wall due to improper installation by the previous contractor. He was able to reattach the garage rail to the wall and re-​brace the slide up aluminum garage door. The garage opener was never caliberated quickly and he re-​caliberated so that the door garage opens and shuts at the correct position. After he was finished with the repair, the garage opener works just like new. Oh, by the way, the repair bill was very reasonable for the honest work performed. I will recommend him to my family and friends.

After having the power go out, guess what began smoking. The garage door box! Jose came to the rescue today. After calling him, he came earlier than expected (which is definitely a plus) and got the garage door fixed super quick! He also told me useful information about my garage door and estimated how long my current garage door would last. He’s honest and gives a fair price. I’m definitely keeping his card handy in case something happens to my garage door again.

I’ve got a senior mother who’s prone to being conned, and thus has consistently hired shady contractors in the past because she lacks common sense. This has cost her severely in whatever imagined savings she believed she was realizing at the time of hiring. Consequently, I’ve taken over all duties to hire contractors for work at her house on her behalf. After convincing her that one truly does get what one pays for after her patio has cracked from watered-​down concrete and her exterior paint has peeled and cracked from lack-​of-​sanding and paint that was likely «diluted,» she’s has relinquished the sourcing reigns over to me finally.
Among the many issues that occur with aging is the decline in one’s spacial perception necessary to drive a car safely. My mother has recently backed into her closed garage door… twice, so that the door was having challenges opening and closing without making a rickety ruckus. I called Jose and he agreed to come out and take a look at it. He came out to her house and fixed her door on the spot. My mother was pleased with his courteous and prompt and fair-​priced help. In turn, I’m relieved that she got appropriately-​priced, competent service, even without my having to be there in person to ensure she wasn’t cheated. Her garage door is operating much smoother.

We came home last night, pushed the button… nothing. Garage door spring busted. This morning (Sunday), I search Unilocal for a repair guy and Jose Jimenez Garage Doors comes up. So I start reading his reviews and realize this guy NEVER had a bad review. Being Sunday morning I text him instead of calling and he responded right away. I gave him my address and 30 minutes later he was at my house! He assessed the job, made a recommendation on what should be done and it was fixed in less than an hour! He is my new garage door guy, and I highly recommend him!

This morning the torsion spring broke while opening and damaged my door. Jose respond to my call quickly, and was able to replace the spring + repair the door within an hour.

If you need your garage fixed at a reasonable price, Jose is the guy you need to call. My garage door spring broke as I came home from work one day. I didn’t know who to call, so I searched on Unilocal to see if I can get someone to come the next morning. I called Jose after seeing all the good reviews and left a message. He called me back right away and set up a time for him to come the next morning. After we hung up the phone, I just remembered I have a meeting in the morning, so I called him back to see if he can change it to the afternoon. He was very accommodating and came the next day. He replaced both springs within half an hour and even changed one of my broken hinges for free! What a great service! I would definitely recommend Jose for all your garage services.

I called three garage door companies and left voice messages to each. Jose was the only who called me back the same day. On top of that, he was $ 200 cheaper than the next lowest for the same door and opener.
He kept the door and opener options limited over the phone, which I really appreciated. Door: non-​insulated/​insulated, windows/​no windows. Opener: three Liftmaster choices. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the Liftmasters, but I pick the belt-​drive DC motor with battery backup.
He came out to measure my garage on Wednesday, and replace the door/​opener on Saturday. Don’t be alarmed if he shows up alone. He can get it done solo without issue.
This is one the best experiences I’ve had with a contractor. I would highly recommend Jose to Unilocalers, friends, and family. I wish I got this done sooner.

Jose is the man! I had a broken garage door spring and he came by the same day I called. Not only did he beat 3 other places in price he was extremely reasonable with parts and labor. Very professional and friendly, even took the time to teach me about the process of changing springs. Great guy!

I just tell you guys all those over 30 5 stars reviews are for real! Jose is the nicest and best garage guy ever! His doors are better quality but much lower price than Home Depot and other garage companies! He’s super serious with his job, and he also did lots of extra work for us! strongly recommend!!!

Just my luck, I would lose $$$$ on America’s favorite holiday: Superbowl Day AND walk out to see the garage door broke as shiiii. Needless to say, I was not a happy camper and Hell was about to break wide open. Thankfully, we had people over so I couldn’t act out too much and thought it better to put my energy into finding a solution for my problem (the one I could fix ;). Of course, my go to source for finding something is Unilocal and I was very happy at the results. I was split between contacting JJ Garage Doors & another business with equally good reviews but something told me to go with JJ.

Not only did Jose call me back on his off day, he called me immediately after I left a voicemail & hung up! I think he could hear the fustration in my voice because when I asked how early he could come, he said as early as I wanted. I scheduled him to come this morning at 7am (2.2.15) before I needed to go to work. He showed up at 6:59am and was ready to work! I love that he walked me through his whole process so that I understood what I was paying for. He also went into depth about what happened and the extra step he went through to prevent the issue.
All in all, Jose was amazing and finished the job + some (he rekeyed the lock on the garage because the previous owner didn’t leave the key, doh!) in under an hour. Best part, he charged a fraction of what we probably would’ve paid to the last guy who «fixed» the garage. [$ 160 — for not just the garage but my peace of mind]

Great same day service! Jose was very nice and honest. The cable in my garage door came off, he got it fixed in no time and even tightened the spring to prevent it from happening again. He also put a couple of screws and bolts to reinforce my garage door where the opener is attached with no additional charge.
I highly recommend him :-)

Great service and very knowledgeable. I just needed a replacement part for my garage and Jose not only had this part in my hand within the hour but he was able to give me some extra tips on how to better install the bracket.
