I love my hair style! I was sososo frustrated by my gray hair and damaged hair. Soo Young was an angle who has taken such a good care for my hair. She knows what she is doing. She is THE BEST!!!

She’s well experienced, has been trained since she was in Korea, has done hairs for celebrities in Korea, and she definitely knows what kind of style the costumers want. She’s also friendly, loved my experience here!

Julie is amazing. She cater to all my hair care and styling. I would go back to Lee KaJa as their staff is great in service. Their skin care service is also great as my son had problematic face with break outs. I would recommend to everyone!

Miran is fantastic! I used to go to many different hair stylist to cut my hair but I’m never found one that I’m satisfied with. Until I came to Miran, she is super nice, has more than 10 years of experience and her schedules are very flexible! Would recommend anyone to come!

Michelle is super nice and sweet lady! She fixed my ruined nail with a smile. And didn’t charged me. I will definitely go back to this place.

I’ve been coming here for years and am almost always satisfied. Miran the owner always cuts my hair. She is always nice and friendly! I just had my hair straight permed yesterday, not magic straight but good enough to calm down my poofy hair. I was able to get a last minute appointment for this and she stayed late until almost 9 to finish my hair! Definitely flexible for clients! There is also a nail area and skin care. As long as this place stays open I will always come here for my hair cuts.

I’ve going here for over 5 years now. Staffs are nice and they are up to date with style and good chemical. Make sure you make an appointment otherwise wait is pretty long.

I have gone to get my nails done my Michelle for a few years now. She always does such clean work. The price is the best you can find anywhere in the area. She can do some complex designs too, just be sure to bring a pic of it.

I love her warm personality, she’s very friendly and helpful! I also love my hairstyle– she always explain and describe why she would cut the hair in certain ways.
The salon is quite busy yet comfortable environment.

This is the BEST hair salon. It is about 40 minutes away from where I live but I just have to drive down here.
The price is reasonable. I went to many hair salons and they often charge too much especially in LA areas.
I came here multiple times for about 5 years now and I’ve done perm, hair cut, dyed my hair at this salon. I recommend Mi Ran, the owner of the salon. She is the BEST of the BEST stylist. She uses good quality product when I dye my hair or perm my hair so I don’t damage my hair. I always get compliments after I get my hair done from this salon. I was never disappointed with the result. Always more than satisfied! She explains and describes well on what she will be doing with my hair and also knows what hair style will look good for me. I recently dyed my hair in ash brown and I’m in love with the color!
All the staffs are nice and friendly at the salon. Their customer service is outstanding.
Call and make an appointment ahead of time especially on Saturdays since it gets pretty busy.

There’s really no other place to go to in the area. I have been getting my hair cut by Mi Ran my whole life and don’t let anyone else near my hair so much so that when I moved to DC I learned how to cut it myself. Every time I come back home for breaks, I make sure I come here first thing when I arrive and last thing before I leave.
The place is well kept and the ladies are so nice. All my friends growing up came here and there’s definitely a great reason why this place is regarded as the best in the area. Make sure you call in advance to check for availability. This place gets really busy so you need to book a time, especially with Mi Ran.

okay do not come here. all of them dont know how to cut hairs. I’ve tried cutting my hair with all of them. Do not cut your hair, especially with kelly. She did not wash her hands after going to the restroom, just nasty. Now I have some flees in my hair.

I am a believer of July (pronounced Julie). So much so that I devoutly followed her from her Ktown salon to this one in the east side. Girl got mad skills and is extremely talented!
I have have a hard time finding a hair stylist who can manage my hair being as thick as it is. Whatever cut or style I decided– bob, A-​cut, long layers, bangs– she made me look like a million bucks. She has such precision and I never ever felt rushed though the process. She really loves what she does and I was a forever customer making treks to Lee Ka Ja. That is until I relocated to NorCal. July’s talents cannot be matched which is why finding a stylist here is a long and arduous process resulting in disappointing appointments and tedious grow-​outs. If you ever find yourself so lucky to work with her I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

This place used to be my go-​to haircut place for a while when I lived in Rowland Heights. During that time, I used to have long hair so I didn’t get haircuts often but when I did, I was usually satisfied with the outcome. After trying some other places lately, I was happy when I came back here and got a haircut.
As a Korean semi-​fob, I find this place as the only place in the area where it’s easy to communicate with the hair stylists and stay more or less on the same page during the cut. Now if I weren’t Korean, I might have certain issues with their haircuts because you often come out of here looking pretty fobby. Don’t worry, it’s just how they style it so obviously won’t stay that way!
Depending on how Korean you want to look, you might like this place or not… haha.

I made an appointment like the other Unilocalers told me to do for michelle. I wanted an acrylic full set done. I go to the adress just to find out it is the wrong place. I call and they tell me where to go. When I got there I was told that michelle was working on someone else despite the fact I made an appointment. Then I was told she doesnt do acrylic nails. In the mean time this tall asian woman in high heel boots is looking at me with a frown on her face and glaring at me for no reason. She did it three times… I finally asked the girl that was speaking to me why that woman was looking at me that way and I got so frustraed I just walked out… SUPER RUDE if you are not full korean or asian dont bother going there.

Ask for Mina, great services, and great hair cuts (12÷18÷13 ~~~ Mina left… she is nowhere to be track down)

This is a review for nails only!
I have never gotten my hair done here, but I have gotten my nails done twice now. I heard about Michelle (nails) from my mom, and she really does a great job! My nails chip really easily, so she suggested that I try gel nails. I loved it the first time, and got it done again! Michelle was friendly, skilled, and very reasonably priced. I don’t think she is there on Sundays, but Saturdays can get really busy, so I highly suggest making an appointment.

Ok so I’ve been coming to this place since the 8^th grade (3^rd year college student now), and this is hands down the best place for male hair cuts. Ask for Sunny! She hasn’t let me down for the past 8 years.
On top of the quality of my cut, they also wash and shampoo your hair before and after the cut. Oh did I mention that they style your hair after your cut too? :D

I came in because I was sick and tired of getting my hair cut around where I live. The «beauty salons» where I live are just Mexican salons who honestly in my opinion do no know how to cut women’s hair.
Even though I am Mexican, not Asian, this is probably the best salon/​hair experience I’ve ever had. I came in with no appointment, mid-​long hair with really bad ends and 3 pictures of AKB48’s Yuko Oshima and they took me in right away, even though they looked busy. They have lockers to put your purse and belongs in if needed. They also loan you a silk robe to keep your clothes clean and safe.
The salon assistant is this lovely Hispanic woman who did a great job of washing my hair. I felt so relaxed.
Mi Ran cut my hair and she was a delight. I loved her. I have coarse poofy wavy-​straight hair and she made my hair look exactly like Yuko’s. Whatever Mi Ran suggested might look better, I went with it. I’m still in awe about how great my hair looks.
Best $ 30 I’ve ever spent. It’s 14miles away from where I live, but I don’t plan on going anywhere else for my future haircuts.

I love coming here to get my hair cut/​style. I have been coming here since I was in middle/​high school and all throughout their name changes. I have been a loyal customer because of Esther, Sunny, and now other staff members that worked on my hair yesterday. Regardless of their name and the hair stylist, your hair will always come out as expected (and sometimes even better~!)
Location: in the same plaza as New Gardens Restaurant. The plaza is white with a blue roof.
Parking Lot: Huge. There is always plenty of parking; however, during dinner time it might be a little rough.
Price: pretty reasonable. Hair cut ranges from $ 25 – 30 depending on how long your hair is and of course tip. I got a magic straight perm and hair cut for a really great deal. LA salons may have better deals, but this place wins because they were opened during the holidays and it was convenient based on timing issues.
Times: they are open during their normal business hours and even during holidays. I got my hair done on memorial day. Who’s open on holidays? They are, on most holidays. :)
Service: Very nice! They always greet when you come in and assist you. They are good at listening to you and giving what you want. They will always give their opinion and suggestions. All hair cuts come with shampoo/​conditioning, blow drying, and styling. My husband sometimes gets his hair cut from here and Esther does a wonderful job.
I highly recommend this place especially if you need to go somewhere that is opened on most holidays.
