Pinapple soft serve! Very tasty and refreshing, but their waffle cone is a bit to soft. Students with ID get extra 10% off. Very friendly service! Will always comeback when I’m around the area when craving for dessert!

It’s really hard to get parking! Especially at night. However the business itself is quick and kind. It’s also one of the few places to get a Dole Whip outside of Hawaii/​Disneyland!

If I could I wouldn’t give it any stars let’s start with the drinks
Way to sweet the put too much corn syrup in side the drinks. NASTY!!! and the milk tea has a funky taste to it.
Food: way to salty and not enough for what I pay for 12 calamari in the bowl wtf not for that price
Customers service… it’s HORRIBLE!!! especially the «manager» Jenna she’s super rude!!! All I wanted to do was use a 5 star coupon and check in and she wouldn’t let me like wtf!!! Also she has tone when she talks to you to try to make you sound stupid. You call her ur manager I’m sure the store will be going down soon because to her.
Store: may look cleanish but I have seen roaches in there I told Jenna and she kinda dismissed what I said so they are truly a dirty store.

Stopped by Sunday afternoon. Hot day and always wanted to try the dole whip. No line, but waited 15 minutes standing right at the register before leaving. Felt bad for the one guy manning the front. He still had 4 full orders to do and no one to help him when we left. After 10 minutes the couple behind us left, we waited it out to see if anyone else would come to help but then just left for tastea. Probably would be smart to staff another person on a hot sunday afternoon.

What drew me here? I was in search of dessert after having stuffed my face a few doors over at Gen. As soon as I saw, Dole Pineapple Whip it was a must. At $ 2.50, I could not pass it up!
I ordered a cup of Dole PW ice cream with boba, the husband had some type of coffee smoothie (don’t remember which one). He thought it was okay. My Dole Pineapple Whip was majorly sweet but thank goodness I asked for boba to slightly weaken the sweetness. It was really smooth and good!
I see Lollicup in the malls so I’ll have to make a habit of getting rejuvenated here more often. Do all the locations have Dole Pineapple Whip though?

I hadn’t been to a Lollicup in years, I want to say at least five years ago, because they stopped carrying Japanese Baked Green Milk Tea (which was already only available at 2 locations as far as I was ever able to find) with boba (either hot or cold depending on the weather). This was the only thing I ever liked to get here, so when it was discontinued, so did my regular visits.
Fast forward to our stopping in Diamond Plaza for a snack, only to find that Genki Living had gone out of business (the death of this place, and Crêpe to Go in West LA, marks the era of not being able to get Japanese-​style crepes anywhere, and having to wait until summer to get my fresh taiyaki fix from Nijiya), and this newfangled Lollicup Fresh had opened next door.
Service was friendly. Credit card requires a $ 5 minimum. They had several different promotions going on, such as a «half off a drink with purchase of snack item» happy hour promo, and coupons for «buy one get one half off mini bowls» or «free drink with mini bowl purchase.» They also had a more extensive food menu than regular Lollicups.
I had become a popping boba fiend since discovering Dragonfly, so I was excited to see that this place has many different flavors of popping boba. They were willing to sell me just the boba without drinks for 50 cents a serving, so I got to try each flavor except strawberry (which they have at Dragonfly) and yogurt (which I was not brave enough to try), and just one regular jasmine green tea (no sugar, no ice) to split among the three.
I liked the peach and pomegranate ones best. The green apple popping boba did not taste like green apple, real or artificial flavor. They were still full of sweet goodness popping in your mouth, leaving little flavorful skins in your mouth to chew on, just not as good as peach, pom, or strawberry.
Unfortunately, the jasmine green tea was bitter, a sign of oversteeping. I had to break out my Ito En jasmine green tea from my shopping bag to complete the sampling and let the DH do the DH’s job (of being finisher of things I don’t like).
We ordered the pork chop noodle soup, not spicy. It was huge for the price ($ 6.50).
The pork chop came on the side. I preferred the soup and noodle part to the pork chop part, though both were only okay.
The pork chop slices were slightly sweet, not like teriyaki, but like they were brushed in some kind of sweet glaze.
The broth had bits of ground beef and bits of congealed beef protein (what some people mistakenly call ««fat») floating in it, along with chopped green onions, whole leaf baby spinach, and a little bit of cilantro. I was surprised by the spinach, which is more of an upscale ingredient to be in a six dollar bowl of soup.
I was surprised at how much meat was in the soup, considering it also came with another protein on the side. The broth itself was flavorful, not too salty, but a little on the oily side. Drinking it moisturized my lips better than Chapstick (eww).
The noodles were very thin, like e mein thin, but not egg noodles. By their nature thin noodles are usually not very Q, and these were no exception, but were not as mushy as they could have been, so I was happy.
I had just recently had oral surgery so couldn’t try anything super cold, but the whipped pineapple ice cream called to me, as it looked just like the one you can get in Disneyland that converted the DH from pineapple hater to pineapple lover. However, this thing is made by Dole, who had a man assassinated over control of banana suppliers, so maybe it’s a good thing I couldn’t have it.
Finally, the dining room was nice, clean, and modern, with outlets at most of the tables. Unfortunately it was a hot day and they had their air conditioning on very low, but at least it wasn’t off completely like at Daiso (where customers were dropping like flies). There were little canvases on the wall that gave the history of the Lollicup chain. I didn’t know that the first ever Lollicup was the one in San Gabriel. :)
However, I *do* know that they can’t possibly be the ones who first introduced boba to the US. Tea Station/​Ten Ren beat them by at least 4 years (the first one opened in San Gabriel in 1996).
Overall, not an unpleasant experience, and was good enough to come back at some point, but not good enough to become Lollicup regulars again. Now, if they brought back the Japanese baked green milk tea, I could be persuaded to return…

I don’t think they will be around much longer. False advertising on check in… no free drink. No hot grass jelly that my wife loves… and they close the kitchen 1.5 hrs early bc workers want to go home early or on time.

Love their squid balls. Tasty snack and the selection of teas are great. The service is. Fast and is a must try.

Great customer service! Shannon, Kevin and Sasha were very helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was fun and drinks were good. Will come back soon!
The place was really clean and nice. There were so many drink add-​ons and different drinks to choose from. The employees assisted me in narrowing down my choices. I got a hot citron tea with aloe. It was amazingly delicious and so flavorful! I definitely recommend this drink and this place to my friends and family. Parking was also easy and convenient when I went.

This used to be my favorite place to chill and hang out. But apparently the people use to work here all quit. The new employees are mostly have their shirt dirty or making incorrect drink. I come here all the time because the staff make me feel welcome but right now it’s just a regular drinking place in a very busy plaza that surround many other drinking place like boiling point and tea station. Only because i have the Loli pack to finish. After i finish the pack i would probably find another drinking place.

my group of 7 went there on a Sunday night around 9PM. we placed our order and the last person got their drink by 9:10. then 20 min later (around 930) they announced they are closing?! wtf your sign says you close at 10. if you want start cleaning up at 930 and leave work by 10, you should change your sign.
PS I dunno if your toilet or plumbing system got issue but the sewage smell was BAD

Slow service. Took 10+ mins to get a mango smoothie with boba ($ 4). Tastes fake; nothing special.
While i waited for my drink, there was a long line of people waiting to order. They didn’t get any acknowledgement from the staff.
AND the people after us got their two drinks before our one smoothie. AND they chose to fill take-​out orders before in-​person orders.

I haven’t been to a Lollicup in so long it is a total change from years ago. I think they are trying as a business to get better and attract more customers to drink the teas and they even have food for lunch. I didn’t order any but with so many options it was difficult to even pick a drink but like many Americans having a lot of options is a bonus since you’ll never get really tired of trying something new and different.
Walked in and then you order with a friendly person. I asked a few questions and decided to get Clean a drink called organic almond milk with two options of either coconut or white chocolate. So I got the coconut one and asked if it was diary free and yes it is!
The drink was a bit sweet but you can always tell them before hand so they don’t add so much syrup in it. This one came with some black sugar thing I don’t know what it is called but I think next time I would order it without the black syrup thing.
Also the popcorn picture looks pretty bomb but I just finished eating lunch so I wasn’t at all hungry. But there will be a next time! Also the price is just right and justifiable. Love the new look of Lollicup the inside looks well enough to be able to chill, eat and relax!

Definitely not a 4-​star place!
Again, I am mystified by the many positive reviews of this shop.
My analysis:
–1: Popcorn chicken was dry, tasted spongy and soggy with oil instead of crispy outside juicy inside
–1: Horrendously loud music blasting in the shop. There was only one other table with customers sitting and it was 2pm on a weekday. What’s with the need to blast the music?
–1: Wonton noodle soup was unnecessarily oily.
–1: Rice ball red bean tofu dessert — tasted like it’s been sitting there for a very long time. The rice ball was clumpy, and there was supposed to be shaved ice in there but it looked like all the ice had melted!
–1: Service was slow and it looked like the staff working in the front did not understand that food service is a time-​sensitive business. The cook had already prepared the food, but I saw it just sitting out on the counter while the front staff /​cashier just lingered around, unaware of her priorities and job duties.
I don’t like to give 1-​star reviews but this shop, which has a lot of potential (well-​known brand, located in a popular Asian food plaza), ruined its chances of success because of the reasons above. MANAGEMENT: if you are reading this review, please retrain your staff. More importantly, *make sure the food is fresh*.
I’ve been to other Lollicup locations and never had an experience this bad.
Very disppointed and will never return again.

They sent out communication Sept 30 advertising October specials. I go Oct 2… and they’re «closed for construction». Wasted my time going during lunch break.
Why wouldn’t they just tell you via email as well that they’re closed? Poor planning

This is not your average lollicup… It’s lollicup fresh! It’s like an upgraded lollicup with an extended menu, including DOLE WHIP! Yup, Dole whip. And it is much cheaper than Disneyland. Just $ 2.50 for a pretty big cup of Dole whip, plus free mochi or pineapple of you want. The only thing you don’t get is the fireworks :(
They have a student or senior discount too, so bring your ID! They also serve real food like beef noodle soup, but I have yet to try that.
Located in diamond plaza, so parking can be a pain. There tends to be more parking in the back, so park there so you can walk off all the calories :)

Closest place you’ll get to the Tiki bar at Disneyland for your Pineapple Dole Whip cravings!
Pineapple soft serve topped with mochi and pineapple bits?! Say no more. AND it’s only $ 2.50 for a hefty portion? IM IN! (it’s only $ 2.25 when you use your student ID!)
The soft serve was really creamy and I love that they offer mochi and pineapple bits for no extra cost. I was so surprised at how much they give you for the price! I remember paying like $ 6 at Disneyland for maybe the same or little less amount. It’s not a float so there’s no pineapple juice in it but the soft serve alone is really good! Very good knock off of the Disneyland treat. It was definitely refreshing and it fulfilled my cravings so I was very satisfied.
My only complaint was that nobody greets you when you walk in or acknowledge the people waiting in line when they’re busy making drinks. There were 2 older men waiting at the cash register but they left without ordering because nobody seemed to acknowledge them. A simple «We’ll be right with you» probably wouldve sufficed. And also, the establishment smelled like sewer. I’m pretty sure it was coming from the bathroom but the stench was so terrible it was making me lose my appetite so we finished our treat outside.

Lollicup and Tapioca Express were one of the top notch boba and tea shops back in the days of my middle and early high school. Since then, I haven’t ventured into a Lollicup for a very long time. However, this recent visit was a nice surprise!
PARKING
Located inside the Diamond Plaza right by the 60 freeway. If you see a Ten Ren Tea Time right before the freeway, you are at the right place! You are definitely bound to find some parking in this large lot. Lollicup is located further inside the plaza, very close to Midoh Japanese Kitchen.
INTERIOR/​EXTERIOR
I’ve been to the plaza a couple of times, but I never really took notice of Lollicup. I was told that during the past year, the shop underwent some remodeling and reopened after.
Very clean interior! Bright, modern and hip — décor on the wall paints a timeline of the history of their franchise. Creative and rather interesting! There are several tables available for dine in customers. The register is to the right of the entrance. The only flaw I noticed was that their drink pick up station is half blocked by a large pillar — may be inconvenient when busy.
MENU
This location offers both food and drinks. The unique thing about this location is their extensive drink menu as well as their selections of real food — not just fried tea snacks! Most of us tried their Pork Chop Noodle Soup. I really enjoyed their house broth and the noodles were nice, thin and delicious. The pork chop came on the side and were crispy in texture. In terms of taste, the pork chop was a little salty. I really appreciate how their vegetables were not half wilted and discolored. Instead, they were very lush, green, and fresh.
For drinks, I wanted a Honey Green Tea. However, the worker probably misheard and I received a Honeydew Milk Tea instead. No matters, the drink was good — the honeydew flavor was very strong but it was very much on the sweet side.
SERVICE
The staff was very nice and accomodating — seems like they had a sense of humor. They were very welcoming when we entered and thankful when we left.

My first time at Lollicup in the ever so popular Diamond Plaza here in Rowland Heights. My expierence here was a great one.
Walked in and were greeted right away upon entry and while browsing the menu. There wasn’t much of a crowd, just 1 person ahead of us. We got there after having lunch in the plaza, at about 1 on a Sunday.
Ordered a Thai Tea and a Red Bean Smoothie. The Thai Tea was super good and really yummy. The Red Bean Smoothie was great as well.
Only down side was that at most boba places, they ask you if you want boba, they didn’t ask here. I forgot to tel them I wanted boba in mine and well didn’t notice til after my drink was made. Oh well. The Thai Tea was still good.
The interior of the place is really clean and modern looking. It is very clean inside, the place is well kept.
Oh and also, if you have a FiveStars card, be sure to show them to recieve points. Every $ spent here is 1 point. So this visit I got 8 points. They don’t have a card scanner yet, but you can just give them your phone number.
A week later after my visit, they now starting to have so many specials. Like why, after I leave my trip, do they start having special and bogos. LOL.
I liked my expierence here, it’s too bad I don’t live down here. They need to open up a Lollicup where I live down in the Fremont, CA! Also, they keep sending me rewards via FiveStars which awesome, but I cannot redeem them because I’m back home where I live now, LOL.

I was so disappointed that one day I had Lollicup, then the next it was closed and the sign was posted up saying it won’t open until AUGUST! I was in disbelief and so boba deprived that I had to drive to Tastea down the street.
BUT GUESS WHAT?! They are open again! *screams* I drove by trying to find parking for work, and I saw that it was open. I pulled over faster than a fat kid at a buffet!

I proceeded to order two Ice Coffee for me and my coworker, and asked how it was made. Lyndy explained the iced coffee well, and it even tastes better than it sounds!
I also ordered the combination which consists of popcorn chicken, crispy tofu, and squid balls! I love squid balls… everything was so good!
I got the extra spicy, and it was spicy for once! It wasn’t like every other boba shop where you ask for spicy, and they give you just more mild seasoning to drench the food in.
So while waiting for my two iced coffee and the combination snack I saw the July promotion they’re having. Its freaking A-​M-​A-​Z-​I-​N-​G. $ 5.99 for one entrée meal of either kbbq or pork chop with either rice or noodles. This also comes with a drink… and better yet. PINEAPPLE DOLE WHIP! OMGAHHH!
So I ordered both food items, and let me tell you.
BEST DECISION OF MY LIFE!
I got double of everything, jesus christ. I was so overwhelmed by happiness. But it was amazing… and tasted amazing… lord jesus christ why do you present such greatness in my life such as lollicup.

Lollicup has undergone some major transformation last few year, make a lot of change to compete other tea house in Socal. I remember Lollicup were like very first tea house offer boba milk tea, they sell the most boba of all the tea house .
It located in the diamond plaza, parking is not hard to found most of the time except peak weekend. The atmosphere is is clean and modern looks, it has a flat screen tv that show sport. They menu has added some new item such as hot tofu with herbs as well a ice cream machine.
When I was there, the CEO of Lollicup was present He were giving out 50% discount and was very nice. The staff is friendly and service are quick. It is good to see Lollicup has made many improvement, I wish other tea house like tea station do the same.

It was just one time error while cooking. Their beef noodles are always good every time i try it.

Hooray for take out. Even though the Tenren Tea House, is just a few stores down in the same plaza, I think I prefer this place to that one.
I wanted some passion fruit green tea with boba. And also popcorn chicken. It was pretty empty at 9pm on a Tuesday evening. Actually, the entire plaza was fairly empty. Which just meant more space for me to park.
The cashier greeted me courteously and everything looked fairly clean. The credit card machine wasn’t working so I had to pay cash. Not a huge deal since I had it on me. The popcorn chicken was nice big chunks and the batter wasn’t too heavy. The drink was good and even on the tart side of passion fruit which I like! It’s usually no flavor or too sweet, but never tart. I like it.
This will probably be my new popcorn chicken place in the area. The quality is still good. Though from what I saw, I’m not a fan of the styrofoam box even for dine-​in customers.

What?!? Diamond Plaza is really looking to make a come back! The only thing keeping this side of Diamond Plaza on notice is Cue!
But at least now there’s one more reason to hit up this side: Lollicup!
I used to only come to this plaza for Ten Ren. But I guess now I have another reason to hit up this plaza!
This place is BOMB!
First found out about this from some friends. But I just recently started hitting this place up again. And I’m glad I did!
So far I’ve been addicted to the Mango Smoothie. It taste great and is also really refreshing! The added little pieces of mango is also really good! Sooner or later i’ll try something different. But until then, I’ll stick to my mango smoothie! lol
Service: Really good. The workers are friendly and will get your drink ready in no time.
Parking; Not too bad now! I remember back in the day, this parking lot used to suck! But now there is tons of parking spots!

The Potted Milk Tea is sooooo good BUT so simple. It’s just milk tea with oreo crumbles but it is so good!
I got the hot grass jelly and it’s good. She let me try it first. It was delicious.
I also got the mini cheesecake. It was only 1.50. It was super good!

If you’re anyone, you’ve been to Disneyland at least once in your lifetime. If you’re no one, fear not! You can still redeem yourself! In the «magical land,» one can find a magical frozen treat called «Pineapple Dole Whip.» Post-​Disney Pineapple Dole Whip led me down some dark and troubling times … after MINUTES of scouring the world wide web, that path led me to one conclusion: this frozen dessert was available ONLY in Disneyland, and in Hawaii — on Dole’s Pineapple Farm. But it was all a lie …
Fast-​forward to this, the day of days, after swearing off food from eating way too much for dinner, my friends were slowly shuffling to our cars when SOMETHING caught my eye … ok, you ready?
Motha. F***ing. Dole whip.
OK! There, I said it. The banner was bathed in the light of a thousand suns above — or it was in the window or something — whatever. Slowly, I felt my feet gravitating towards its presence, a hand reached for the door, and I found myself inside gaping at the store clerk. My mouth opened, words came out, and my eyes followed the swipe of my credit card, and in under 30 seconds, my hand grasped at the tiny plastic spoon, screaming at my heart to stop hammering so hard so I could focus on the frozen treat before me. I took a bite. My eyes glazed over. And there it was.
IMPOSTER! But a damn good imposter at that. It is very much like the Dole Whip from Disneyland with the exception of a strong ‘just out of the water’ pineapple flavor, coconut mochi, and an icee like texture at the bottom of the plastic cup. Aside from that, the whipped frozen treat was near similar to that which I tasted in the magical land.
I bet you’re like, «all this for ONE treat?» Yes Unilocaler. Yes. It’s that important. Cheers.

When the Lollicup inside the nearby Ranch 99 Market closed down, I was devastated. I was a huge fan of their brown sugar latte with boba and pudding, which I claimed was the best iced milk drink out there, superior to ones served at places like Half & Half and Meow Meow Café. To my knowledge, it was the only Lollicup location that had this very special drink. Believe me, I’ve called many many Lollicups and wasn’t able to find that drink anywhere else.
Well, the brown sugar latte returns with this fancy, modernized Lollicup! While I may not drink as much brown sugar lattes as before because I’ve become such a fatty, I appreciate and feel comforted that it’s there in case I decide to become a bigger fatty. For now, I am sticking with their flavored teas, like the mango green tea and the yogurt green tea. The yogurt green tea is yakult flavor green tea! Who doesn’t love yakult?!
Popcorn chicken is pretty good. Still doesn’t beat the popcorn chicken from the Lollicup inside the HK2 nearby which is the best popcorn chicken in the whole area. Stay away from the calamari.
This is by far the best Lollicup location!
