Seafood combo yes yes yes please! Already comes with brown rice. Crispy tilapia and garlic spicy shrimp flavor over fresh greens. Brings me back to Hawaii. The dish is rich tastes like the fish has some butter in it when its fried. Get the siracha hot sauce and you are set for a fab lunch. Pass on the chicken skewers unless you want lean dry chicken breast. It was OK but seafood was the way to go.

I found Mama Siu’s bbq as a vendor at Harvest Farmers Market in Long Beach. Garlic fries looked so good so I bought them. Plain, but I loved the minced garlic and parsley. A sunny day eating them while sitting at a park bench was nice. Simple things.

Just ate the seafood combo from the tent at the farmer’s market at Kaiser Kraemer. It was so delicious! Fresh, hot, tasty! Yum!!!

Traveling tent show for the Kaiser Permanente Irvine Medical Center Farmer’s Market on Wednesdays. If you don’t get there by 12 noon, you will wait 20 – 30 minutes. They can’t get it out very quickly. Civil service, not to chatty. Clean operation considering the camping stove kitchen. Three offerings: All on a pathetic heap of greens that probably just serve to soak up the grease. If you need to be within 50 yards of anyone for the rest of the day ask them to omit the giant scoop of minced garlic they put on top of the fish or shrimp. Grilled fish– Really big, nicely cooked filet Shrimp– Spicy garlic or lemon pepper. A bit small, in shells, tasty Chicken– five nice size pieces of breast or thigh meat. A tad dry but pretty good. (Or shrimp/Chix combo). Recommended, but without zeal. A good solid lunch, better than the cafeteria. You decide if that’s an endorsement.

They come to the farmer market at my job. The food is good. My favorite is the grilled shrimp. However, the customer service from the young girl(20’s) is horrible. She is very rude. Not friendly at all. I like the food, but if I hear one more comment under her breath about charging extra so people won’t order there food a certain way I won’t be back.

This bbq tent visits different farmers markets. The food is ok, the grilled fish and shrimp are good, but the chicken is usually dry. The brown rice they have is usually over cooked and kind of squishy. It is a solid option overall when hungry.

I was craving garlic fries and I had the best ones here at the sunset beach farmers market. The fries were yummy! I haven’t tried the other food yet but I will next time!

Momma Siu’s BBQ is a food stand that we came across at the Long Beach Farmers Market at Marina Vista Park. They offer BBQ items such as skewers and chicken teriyaki bowls. They also offer«garlic fries’ as a signature item. The food is pretty horrible. Not only that, it took about 10 minutes to get a beef skewer and an order of fries. The meat skewers weren’t anything special, but the fries were straight up disgusting. What they did was basically take some regular soggy fries and topped them with a scoop of jarred minced garlic. It was gross and couldn’t believe that were promoting this as a specialty item. And the cost of this gastrodisaster was a whooping $ 11. What a rip off.
