Corinne (Mindy) is so great! she’s very patient and really upfront and honest about stuff. She’s also very responsive to phone calls and special request. I was able to show her the specific setting that I want and she was able to customize the setting to what I want without any issue. My experience is seamless — she showed me the specs I want in a reasonable amount of time. Her staff is also friendly and helpful. Lastly, I was able to see the entire process of setting the ring with her explaining the nuisance of ring shopping with me. Highly recommend for those who cares more about quality than fluff!

I had an AMAZING experience customizing my diamond engagement ring with Pro Gems. The final product came out beautiful and the service was excellent. Kevin worked with me to design a one of a kind ring and spent countless hours with me in the store, on the phone, by text and by email. I was very particular throughout the entire process, but Kevin and his jeweler were very patient and accommodating. Watching the ring come to life from a drawing to a wax mold to an actual ring was a memorable experience and I’m glad Pro Gems worked with me through every step of the way.

I went in as a referral to see Corinne (Mindy) and was very satisfied with my overall experience. I went in with very little understanding of what I wanted except that I knew what style my girlfriend wanted. I showed Corinne a picture of it, and from that she was able to help me find the right diamond within my budget, design a setting, and get it done within about a month. The entire time she kept me updated on the progress, and when it was all said and done, I was presented with a ring that I hope will get me a «yes» answer. On top of that, I was able to do a one stop shop by getting a matching wedding band as well. At no time did I ever felt pressured or the need to shop around elsewhere. Highly recommended.

Great place, amazing value and super helpful staff! My sister and her fiancé came here to pick an engagement ring and they had such a large selection of diamonds to chose from. The had a special cut from Canada called the Ideal Square which was really unique and beautiful. They gave a great price and we never felt pressured or like we were being cheated. My sister actually picked the Ideal Square cut one and was about to finish the transaction but unfortunately some travel plans came up for her and her fiancé so they are putting this on hold. They are planning on coming back to make their purchase at this location once they are back and ready.

I guess appointments only, even though the place was empty. I came here the other day to look for an engagement ring and was told appointment only, so I called while standing outside to see if they could see me. The guy that answered said they were booked and what carat stone I was looking for, clarity, and color. I gave him all of the info and he said he will get back to me later that day. Never heard from him since lol. I guess wearing jeans, t shirt and a baseball cap is not appropriate attire for this establishment, I felt like I was being judged. I consider this to be asian on Asian crime.

We just recently purchased a ring for my wife with an absolute great services from Mindy. Ensuring an absolute satisfaction and trust was her number one goal. Due to us live so far away, we picked out the stone my wife like and she ordered the ring and it take a couple of weeks, so we scheduled for this last Sunday and when we got there she have us verified the serial number on the stone from GIA and she make sure my wife like the way the setting that she liked before they finally set it for good. Then she verified again to make sure that is the same stone. It was an absolute great experience dealing with this establishment. As you know purchasing jewelry is to find some one you can trust and feel good about who you deal with. I fully recommend Mindy. Thank for being professional and explain the in and out on stone selection.

I had an AWESOME time there, I was freaking out just a little bit: P for my engagement and didn’t really understand all the diamond the ring and everything else. BUT the people at pro Gems was super helpful! I went in and was able to learn everything I needed to know about diamonds and rings in less than an hour, AND I was able to choose which ring I wanted, and what Diamond I wanted to get all in just one day! I thought it would take me at least several months to get the ring but it only took a day! The service is amazing I bought the ring almost immediately I will be referring all my friends to this Awesome Place and will be buying my Wedding Bands and future Jewelries Here!

Buy Your Engagement Ring at Pro Gems, I promise you won’t regret it: D

I had been looking around for a diamond for my custom engagement ring. I went to many jewelry stores in OC area. Not that I can’t find or like the one Gen, NQ, and some others showed me. The diamond they showed me was way out of my budget and the one they showed me in my budgets range are so low in quality and they’re don’t have any interest in taken their time to look for me the good quality one. After months of frustrations, my man asked one of his co-​workers and turned out his co-​workers are really happy repeated customers of Pro-​Gems. When my man tell me that he would take me to Pro-​Gems, I’m not that excited, thinking, come on honey you need to give me more $$$ for my diamond else I can’t get at least my H color, more than 1.5 karat, and have at least an vs in it. But I went anyway because I need to find a perfect diamond for my setting for my wedding in 4 months.
We got there, around 2pm, Mindy Fong listen to what I want and she asked me a couple of questions to see exactly what I need within my budget. She asked me to wait and she into your secret room to search for a diamond for me. After 6 minutes, she came back with a couple of choices for me. I found one I really like, even those it’s a little bit smaller than the size I wanted, but the cut-​color-​clarity was way better than what I expected & it set perfectly into my ring. I’m in love again, with my ring. Mindy gives me such a good price, a couple grand less than some OC store would sell that almost same quality to me. My man cut the check and Harry, Mindy’s husband, set the diamond for me, omg, his quality of works is super good. I walked out of the store 4pm-​ish a super happy happy happy customer. I’m happy, make my man happy too. Go check around & then check them out before you buy.

Went in to get a setting for an engagement ring, since I already bought a diamond (center stone) from somewhere else. Bought a beautiful setting with the intention of going back to get it sized later.

Cons
1. They tried to sell me one of their diamonds
2. The center stone was mounted, but the hearts and arrows weren’t straight up, like a clock (I am very particular about that)
3. My fiancé noticed the side prongs for the setting were a little off, and asked them to straighten them when she went in to have her ring sized, but they told her that they couldn’t do anything about it, since the setting was not made by them. WHAT?! Why would you sell something and won’t back up the quality of the workmanship/​product?
4. They told me to come in on a certain time and day to get the ring sized, but when we got there, the jeweler (goldsmith) wasn’t available. We had to come back 2 hours later. On top of that, they kept saying we should have called earlier to make sure the goldsmith was going to be there. Mind you, I did call them, and was told to get there before 1pm, which we did, only to be told he wasn’t available.
5. Few selections to choose from

I had been searching for a jeweler to create me a custom engagement setting for me for months. I finally decided to fly out to CA (I live in AZ) on my friend’s recommendation of Pro Gems. This is a very small shop located inside an Asian strip mall in Rowland Heights. They also have another location in San Gabriel, Which is a lot bigger, and has some very interesting, unique, high quality, beautiful pieces. This Pro Gems also has a nice selection of jewelry. The diamonds are very high quality at a reasonable price.
Mindy is the greatest! She was the only one who I really felt understood EXACTLY what I wanted. She spent a lot of time drawing out, pulling other rings out, and explaining back to me how my ring was going to be when it was finished. The jeweler who does actually makes the custom jewelry is on site as well. He is an amazing artist. I flew back to see the wax mold and everything looked good, so 2 weeks later I got the final product. 5 week turnaround for a very intricate setting + matching wedding band that is truly one of a kind!
I also got a diamond pendant and matching earrings from them too! I love it!
I will be coming back in the future for more! Hopefully sometime very soon!
