As others have said, it’s a little hard to find since they don’t have a sign that says, «Rowland Heights Smog Center, Inc.» but if you look for the sign that says, Lambs Auto Center, you know you’re in the right place since they rent a slot from them.
When I arrived on Monday evening, there was no one there, so I was serviced right away. He said that using the coupon on his website for $ 29.75 wouldn’t be a problem, but there was an additional $ 8.25 fee that goes straight to the DMV, which he couldn’t waive. I thought it was a fair price since it seems similar to what other smog stations charge.
Anyway, he did his inspection and I was in-​and-​out of there in 15 minutes. He was a personable guy and said that because he rents from Lambs Auto Center, I could use their waiting room, but since it was quick, I didn’t need to.
Overall, a positive experience for a good price.

It was fast, easy, and straight forward. What else would you want from a smog check place? It took about 10 – 15 mins. The place is a bit hard to see/​find. It’s in Lambs autocenter and is the small shop at the end not the auto repair place with the glass doors.

Thanks to the mechanic did my smog test. I have an old school 1986 Toyota Celica and it passed smog. He did a good job. For older cars cost you about 60 bucks. I would totally go back.

If you have a stock car, this place is great for smog check. But if your car is modified any parts other than stock parts do not go to this place for smog. Even if you have the proof of motor vehicle smog# they will not accept it. They will want original # and letter from the manufacturer. In this case, it was a waste of time going back to manufacture and at the end it was the same smog# !!! it was ridicules that they failed me the first time, as it now shown red flag in the system. 2^nd time they let me pass.

I was kind of nervous about this because I heard that most places charge anywhere from $ 40−50+. I drove in and the guy I spoke to was really nice! He told me to fill out the paperwork and quoted me $ 35, which was lower than expected. I only had to wait for him to finish doing the smog check on one other car before he did my car. Pretty quick and easy! I would definitely come back again!

I recently had two of my vehicles smog checked at the Rowland Heights Smog Center. It is at the 76 gas station on Colima and Fullerton. The price is fantastic, under $ 30 with coupon for each of my 4 Cylinder car. The time it takes for the test is about 20 minutes. I am very happy with the services provided. Nash, the mechanic is a nice guy and very professional.

This place was great. I am always nervous when getting a quote on my vehicle, because you hear of so many mechanics overcharging women. When I called for a quote the guy told me $ 38 special including the certificate for the smog check. This sounded about right from what I paid previous times. When I brought it in and he saw that it was a star smog check, which is a bit more, he told me that he would still honor the $ 38 since that was what he quoted. It was also extremely fast service and in a great location right off of Colima. Very easy to find near the gas station. I would definitely come here again.

Went to this place to smog a car to sell. The worker Nash was very friendly and very honest. Quality service, I will use this place again if I am in the area again.
As a person who uses smog services often, I can’t keep my mouth shut about that nasty review someone else left about failing a visual inspection. That is part of the inspection, so as a car owner, make sure your cars ready before you go in.
There are very few places that are honest and this is one if them.

Worst place ever. Watch out for them trying to fail you over visual inspection. Don’t trust the coupon, bait and switch.
