Flavorless drinks with hard bobas and unfriendly service. On the way to Kiki’s Bakery next door, D and her friend wanted some drinks. D ordered regular milk tea, her friend ordered chocolate milk tea. Woman/owner? asked if we wanted bobas, only D said yes. Then woman said it is ONLY50 cents more with an ‘r u too cheap to afford that’ attitude with a sneer. I didn’t even wanna explain that braces=no bobas. Anyways, the drinks were very watered down. Ever had cheap chocolate drink powder mixed in plain water? Or triple used tea bag dump in water? Yup, that’s exactly how the drinks tasted. Wasted my $ 5!

This boba place is inside the SF market on the left side near the Kiki Bakery and the tubs of candy and stuff. The lady is really nice! She always gives you a smile when you come up to the counter. The prices are really good too! I order a small Taro Milk Tea with Boba, and she says«No, large! It’s the same price!» and I say«oh, ALRIGHT!» $ 2.50 for a large drink?! Okay! :D But my drink could use a little more sugar in it. But other than that, I love this place(:

Splash Corner is a vendor in the SF Supermarket that sells boba, slush, shake, and tea drinks( ). Like a lot of places in Rowland Heights, this joint sells a huge selection of flavors and types of drinks. You can get the traditional Asian flavors like taro, papaya, mango, peach, green tea, etc. or branch out and get bird nest, rose juice, peppermint, green apple, and a number of other crazy choices. While they do offer a two for one discount to make most of the drinks only a dollar, the quality is a tad lacking. I ordered a mango slush( ) which didn’t have boba in it(if you don’t ask you don’t get). While it was fine and good tastewise, it just wasn’t as satisfying as other slushes I’ve sipped. Otherwise, this place falls in the middle ground in terms of boba places for this area. At the very least, Splash Corner offers an inexpensive way to cool off while shopping at SF Supermarket.
