Wang Bob Medical Insurance

My mom referred me to this company because she used to buy private health care insurance from them years ago (they’re now on company sponsored plans, who coincidentally also buy insurance through this company). I was trying to figure out other health insurance options for a student on my own because the only plan my school offered was a mandatory $ 1105+/per semester Silver PPO package (aka 1 year=$ 2,210!!). Naturally, I waited until the deadline to figure everything out. After making countless phone calls with no helpful answers, I finally gave them a call. I spoke with Joyce and explained what I was looking for. She helped me find a Silver PPO plan that was a couple hundred dollars cheaper, and most importantly, made sure the plan I picked met the requisite requirements so that I can successfully waive the school’s expensive insurance.

If Unilocal allows negative review, that’s what I’d give them. I was shopping for medical insurance, and they recommended me one of the highest insurance premiums without giving me options to choose from. They wanted to make the commission so badly that they did not warn their clients about the rating tier system the insurance companies uses. They did not suggest to me that I should have stayed with my original insurance plan. My plan went from $ 129 per month to $ 856 per month. Now I’m stuck with it and once you’re rated a high tier, it is almost impossible for insurance companies to move you down a tier. They should have told me that before but they were greedy to make the commission. Now I am seriously thinking of moving out of the country as living in a country without health care is getting ridiculous. My suggestion, avoid this place like hell.
