I was a long time customer of Bright Eye Care in Rowland Heights until they messed up on my last pair of eye glasses. Their measurements were off and the staff kept telling me to get used to the new measurements.
After 2 weeks, i decided it was time to try a new place and found Youngs Optometry. Dr Chang was friendly and measured carefully. The staffs were friendly and not pushy. I even got a good discount on my Oakley frame that was about $ 80 cheaper than Bright Eye.
Overall, I am really happy with Youngs! Highly recommended.

I love this place. I got 3 pairs of glasses from this place so far and every single one are perfect. Dr. Liu is super detailed in his examination. Staffs are super friendly and helpful too.
They are not the cheapest but definitely made the most comfortable glasses for me to wear.
I once went to Costco to get a pair of glasses because its cheaper. I had to go back 3 times to adjust that stupid lens and after 3 weeks of frustration, i threw them into garbage.
Screw Costco. come here.

Used to come here for the deal. Exam plus glasses and lenses for $ 99. Customer service is really good and the doctor is very professional. They have a hugh selection of brand names eyewear but they are pricier compared online. Also, when one of my glasses lost its screw, they kindly fixed for free.

I’ve been coming here for the past 7 years and I really love it here. I’ve gotten contacts, 3 to 4 pairs of eyeglasses and a pair of sunglasses from this store. The owner is super nice to us all the time. The eyeglass and sunglasses selection is varied and the girl who helped me was very helpful when I had to choose my glasses. I live in Cerritos, but this place is so great that I really don’t need to look anywhere else for my optic needs.

I came here based on the raving reviews and a «reasonable» quote of prescription sunglass lenses that I got over the phone. Little did I know that the «reasonable» price was based on the thickest lenses available even though I told them I needed the prescribed lenses on a pair of ray-​ban. My sunglasses look so ugly now that it’s essentially not wearable. When I told them I was not too happy about the end product they simply told me there’s nothing they can do about it now.
Yes, reasonable price is very important to customers, but you also gotta be ethical and advise the customer if you know the product is just not going to turn out well!

Wonderful customer service! I came here to get an eye exam and get new eyeglass lenses, and I highly recommend Young’s Optometry. The optometrist (never got her name) was very kind, caring and willing to work with me and listen to my concerns. I have a lot of sensitivity to astigmatism eyeglass prescriptions, and the doctor took this into consideration, and worked with me to write a prescription that I felt comfortable with (after trying several readings out on the prescription trial glasses). The sales associates for the glasses are also wonderful, courteous, and helpful. And most of all, prices here are very reasonable, especially for the eyeglass lens, which often get very expensive if you need hi-​index lenses. People at this office are very easy going and also don’t try to gyp you as I previously experienced with another optometry office (such as adding unnecessary items to eyeglass prescriptions, or making mistakes on prescriptions, then making the customer pay for them).

Everyone here is so friendly! Awesome customer service. Everyone is really helpful. I wanted to get a new prescription for glasses and get contacts as well. Dr. Liu was very helpful and knowledgeable in explaining many of the questions i had about my eyes. I have dry eyes, so contacts weren’t the most comfortable for me. However, Dr. Liu made sure I got the most suitable and most comfortable contacts. Diring my trial period, i tried every kind of contacts they had, but none worked out. She even ordered other ones just for me to try. In the end I ended up being paired with the most expensive contacts, but I guess comfort and quality outweighs price? I went back for almost 2 months to find the right pair of contacts. I addressed to the doctor that I bought eye drops for contacts due to my dry eyes, and she kindly gave me a sample for lubricant eye drops which helped tremendously, so I later went to go buy a full size of the same eye drop. Dr. Liu is truly knowledgeable and cares about her patients. I would definitely recommend her.

Everyone was super awesome, friendly, and helpful. My mom was especially impressed with Luci :) she said that Luci was super professional and friendly.
Dr. Young was also great and very friendly and caring.
They had a great selection of frames and everything was quick. Hardly had any wait time for anything and they’re open late for people who work.

I usually never write non-​food reviews but this place is that awesome.
First of all, it just happen that their name is Young just like my last name which is a extra + haha.
So anyway, I happen to stepped on my glasses yesterday (cause I’m clumsy and stupid) and my mom took me here (as my mom and dad are frequent customers of this place). Their services are ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. They were all so kind and they were all very helpful especially the one girl (forgot name but I think it’s lily?) So I was freaking out about not having my glasses because I need it when I go in to classes and they said that it usually takes a week to get but the girl really helped me out and made a call to the Insurance company and say they can do it themselves. So in fact, it only took a day (not even) and I already have my new glasses. I’m awed by their services!
*knock on wood* If I ever stepped on my glasses or break them somehow, I’ll be back in a jiffy.

I’ve been coming here for years for my eye check ups and getting my lens, frames and contacts lens by the ever changing doctors. The staff and doctors are very helpful and friendly, they are very detailed orientated and explain prices to, unfortunately, prices aren’t really reasonable however I blame the insurance companies with their high rates. The doctor is very good at explaining anything that could be wrong and what’s going on with your eyes, which is a relief. I do wish they would have a wider selection is designer frames however i am not displeased with the service one bit. I recommend coming.

If you were on a budget, come here. Costco quoted me 104 for lens, extra 18 for not buying their frames, in Walmart, it was 104. In lenscrafter, it was 450, here it was 95.

I got my glasses for computer distance at Young’s Optometry about a little over 4 years ago and I was very pleased with my purchase. However, I made a huge mistake going with another optometric company when I needed a pair of driving distance glasses last October. That other optometric company sent my order to the worst laboratory in the world so my high index lenses (1.67) looked like those without high index (about twice as thick). That company finally refunded me the money after almost six months of disappointments after disappointments. It was a waste of my time. I learned my lesson and came back to Young’s Optometry. I can only say it was a smooth and pleasant experience dealing with Young’s Optometry. The best part is: they sent my frame to a decent lab to have my glasses made. I got two pairs this time, one for driving distance (with a Silhouette frame), one sunglasses (Christian Dior frame). I would sum up my review for Young’s Optometry as follows:
1) I love that they have a big selection of Silhouette frames. I have been wearing Silhouette frames for many years and love the lightness of their frames but there are not too many optometrists out there that carry Silhouette frames now. Young’s Optometry had the design of frame I like but not the color, so they were able to special order the frame for me. However, you need to be sure about your choice as you cannot change once they special order for you. They have a branch store in Arcadia. So in case you do not see the frame you like in the Rowland Heights store, you can go to the Arcadia store to check them out. That’s how I found my sunglasses.
2) They have great prices for quality frames. Young’s Optometry offers 30% off the sticker price on all their frames. I am a comparison shopper and have visited many stores before I returned to Young’s. One optometry store offered me a great deal on Sunglasses (almost 50−60% off their Coach Sunglasses). However, the frames felt so cheap so I was afraid that they might be imitations. I do not have this kind of concerns with Young’s.
3) They offer excellent services. Everyone at Young’s Optometry is very friendly and helpful.
4) They send your frame to a reliable lab to make your prescription glasses. This means the most to me due to the bad experience I had with the other optometrist.
A pair of good glasses is vital to our eye health and often involves a big investment. On that account, I highly recommend Young’s Optometry for those discriminating prescription glasses users like me!

I came here to get a pair of sunglasses the other day, and I just want to say that it was a great experience. I got the sunglasses at a good, reasonable price, from an amazing selection including many name brands. The owner and the staff were extremely friendly and always helpful in helping me out on picking the right sunglasses that I want, even though there were many other customers around.
In the end, I got the sunglasses that I wanted, without spending too much time in that store, and it didn’t cost me as much as I thought it would. For anyone who is looking for a new pair of glasses, I’d like to recommend Young’s Optometry for their selection, costumer service, and price.

I’ve been coming to this place for about 4 – 5 years now! All I can say is this place is absolutely AWESOME! They have very friendly service and great prices on both their glasses and sunglasses.
Dr. Young use to always check my prescription and every single time she’s on point with my degrees, astigmatism, etc… (I went to Kaiser and had to go back there several times cause I still couldn’t see clearly with the trial contacts). Staff there is definitely very knowledgeable.
Terry would be the guy to talk to if you want sunglasses! He knows which sunglasses looks the best on your face and I always seek his opinion when picking out sunglasses. If you find a cheaper sunglass somewhere else, they can sometime price match it for you as well. This is the #1 optometry place I would recommend to anyone.
