Discount Tire Store – Rowlett, TX

Called Rockwall location and, as usual, they were booked this afternoon. Driving by I remembered this location was open and they took me right in. The 2 hours wait in Rockwall was only a 20 minute wait here in Rowlett!!! I’ll probably come back here when I need new tires. Staff was great, no nonsense, transferred previous vehicles owner protection over to me and rotated, rebalanced and aired-​up my tires for free! Thanks a lot guys!!!

We’ll run establishment, staff was friendly enough. My tires were a special order, they called when they arrived and were apologetic about them being delivered late. Scheduled appointment to have them put on at 8 am, they said it would completed by ~8:45 and job was completed in a very timely manner as promised. I greatly appreciated that as I had a 9:30 spot in Allen. I will definitely return there when the need arises. Thanks guys.

After I was told that I had an issue with my tires when I went to get my car inspected, I took my car to Discount Tire in Rowlett. The entire staff was incredibly friendly when I walked in the door. I fully anticipated, based on what I’d been told at the inspection facility, that I would need to replace a couple of tires. The gentleman who was looking at my tires at Discount Tire asked me to come back and look at the tires with him. He showed me that the pressure was low due to the valve stem covers, not an issue with the tires themselves. He also showed my a screw in one of my tires, but said that he wasn’t sure if it penetrated the tire wall. I went back to sit down, waiting for them to tell me that I needed a couple of tires replaced. A few minutes later, I was told that my car was ready to go. They said that they replaced all the valve stem covers and saw that the screw didn’t penetrate the tire wall. They spent 20 minutes checking out my tires and didn’t charge me a penny. They seemed genuinely happy just to be helping me. They have my business from this point forward!

Great service here. Got me right in and treated me right. Or guy knew his info and was not pushing a sale. Lotsa of people there getting tires so the words out on this place… highly recomend but please beware there is a place right next to them with a similar name. They are not affiliated.

I had a slow leak in the rear, wait for it… passenger tire and they took care of it for free! They didn’t push or try to sell me anything I didn’t want. Which is refreshingly uncommon these days, especially from a car shop. The assistant manager Trent was extremely helpful and answered all of my questions without hesitation. Hew knew his stuff! I have to be honest, I’m very picky and hesitate where I take my cars to, but now that I know they’ll take car of me here, I’ll be returning and gladly give them more of my business. I’m very happy with discount tire in Rowlett!

Staff is great. They open doors, make a point to greet you. Make eye contact. «Yes ma’am», «Yes sir…» Their attire is well kept, considering the job they do. They keep you posted as they service your vehicle. The place is clean. Chairs are cushy. Bathroom was even clean. I had a lengthy wait there Mon. morning, as they were short-​staffed. But they were upfront & apologetic about it, which goes a long way with me. So I wasn’t frustrated in the slightest.
Bonus: tire repair (screw in tire) was free. I’m definitely buying my tires from Discount Tires next time.
And it warms my heart to see customer service is not dead!

I love Discount Tire and was so excited to see one close to home. I came in and didn’t realize they’d been open 2 months already! I didn’t see any mailers, flyers or grand opening signs! However, I’ve been here a few times since and the staff is phenomenal. They get me in and out in an acceptable amount of time and are always super friendly and helpful. They gave me options and didn’t try to up sell to make a buck.
