Established in 2010.

Dr. Sinawi was born in Detroit, and raised in Ferndale. He graduated from Ferndale High School in 2001. After high school, Dr. Sinawi attended Oakland Community College to pursue an associate’s degree in health sciences. Next he attended Oakland University to complete prerequisites for the Doctor of Chiropractic program at Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO, which he began attending in 2007. There he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences and a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2010. He always knew he wanted to come back to his hometown to practice.

Throughout his life, Dr. Sinawi has been very active and as a result, very interested in how the human body works. He had his first chiropractic experience after injuring his back during high school varsity football, and was later sold on chiropractic as a result of the treatment. Dr. Sinawi is a big family man, spending most of his time outside of work with his family.

Awesome all around, from the front desk to the adjustments. I’ve been to a few chiropractors in the area and Dr. Dave is the best. He is knowledgeable and actually knows how to adjust patients without any pain as it should be, the entire process is quick and is done in a relaxed enviroment.

Can’t say enough good things about Dr. Sinawi. He made me feel welcome the minute I stepped into his office. I recently moved to Royal Oak and started a desk job (which I was NOT used to at all) and needed to find a chiropractor to help me deal with the new neck/​shoulder pain that comes with a sedentary job. It’s been over 6 months now and I couldn’t be happier with his practice. He is knowledgeable, personable, and hilarious. We end up talking the entire time and catch up like old friends. Aside from helping me with my spine and upper back, he has relieved my TMJ and assisted me in a quick recovery from a foot injury (the podiatrist couldn’t even relieve the pain!) I think you get the idea… don’t look for another chiropractor, just go here. You won’t regret it.
P. S. The masseuse is wonderful, as well! I’ve had a couple relaxing and rejuvenating massages from him.

My journey with back pain was a long one before I arrived at Dr. Sinawi’s office. I slipped and fell when I was pregnant and managed to end up with severe disc narrowing of my L5-​S1. What is interesting about my journey is that I went to two back doctors, one at Beaumont, Royal Oak and one prestigious one in Bingham Farms. Both gave me the incorrect diagnosis; sacriolitis. I spent a fortune and a lot of time on physical therapy (for the wrong diagnosis), babysitting to get to these appointments and even I went to a very popular chiropractic center in Birmingham and nothing was helping. I had cortisone injections, tried a variety of medication and wore an SI belt (only thing that stabilized me to sleep at night). After feeling like I was walking on a broken pelvis with pain shooting into my hip, lower back and limited mobility trying to care for my 3 ½ year old and baby, I demanded an MRI. The MRI showed that I had disc compression. Thankfully, a very successful spine surgeon is in our family and he said not to have surgery on this to find a very, very good chiropractor and I did a ton of research and I did; Dr. Sinawi. He was the first professional to read my MRI results and tell me exactly with clarity what my issue was. The first time he adjusted me after two days of soreness (normal from the adjustment) I nearly cried tears of joy-​for once! I could walk again, pain free. I could bend over and pick my baby out of his crib, pain free. I cannot say enough great things about this practice. I was given my life back. When you suffer with chronic pain and can’t even swim or walk for over a year, when you dread unloading the dishwasher because you know you will need to bend, I can honestly say, he has been the greatest gift since I have moved here to metro-​Detroit. I know he has enough stellar reviews, but I just hope that in sharing my story I can give others who have been on a journey like mine hope that they too have a chance at life again with this amazing chiropractor!

Dr. Sinawi is fantastic! The entire staff is friendly and professional, and they’ve always been able to accomodate my last-​minute scheduling. I try to see him regularly just to stay «tuned up,» but he never presses the situation, and I always feel better after seeing him. Great price for an adjustment if your insurance doesn’t cover it, and he also knows a lot about nutrition, as well.

I can’t believe all these years I never went to a chiropractor office. I had really bad lower back pain for weeks and finally my wife (boss) made me an appointment with Dr. David. At first I didn’t trust anyone to pop my back bones but he really made me feel comfortable by explaining exactly what’s wrong and then adjusted my back. I felt better right away and It took 2 days to heel. Now that I know its safe to have my back adjusted I will definitely go back.

Dr. Sinawi is awesome! I tore my hamstring and popped my hip out and he has been working with me to get back to 100%. Very flexible scheduling and staff makes you feel like family. Prices are very reasonable and he does not pressure you to come back unless you feel the need to. Takes his time to understand completely what your issue is so he can get you on the right track to recovery.

About 3 weeks ago, I was working on a house and when I woke up a couple of days later my left hand and first two fingers and thumb were numb. I came into here and I have more feeling in my fingers and the numbing is almost gone. I can’t thank Dr Dave enough. He does great work.

I called early in the morning in severe pain and I knew just from the conversation on the phone with Krista that this place was going to be great. After several visits in a short couple of weeks I was feeling like new again. Dr. Sinawi and his staff are so friendly and he knows what he’s doing. Also, my insurance isn’t all that great and I was worried about the price putting a huge dent in my wallet but I was wrong. His prices are very reasonable which allowed me to go for several visits until I felt like new again. If I’m ever in pain or locked up again I will be returning.

Great little practice and love that I can walk in when I feel my back tightening up. I always feel better after a visit. Doc Sinnawi is friendly, works with your insurance (I have a crazy deductible), and really listens to your needs.
I have yet to try the massage therapist, but $ 50 for an hour is a great deal. That’s up next!

Dr. Sinawi has done wonders for my wife and I. He helped alleviate my pain after I pinched a nerve in my lower back. And he was able to rid my wife of her frequent headaches. Dr. Sinawi is very honest and professional. And he and Krista, at the front desk, are really friendly and make it an inviting atmosphere for everyone. Couldn’t ask for a better Chiropractor! My neck and back pain… Gone! not only is Dr. Sinnawi great with adults but wonderful with kids. With frequent visits, my kids (ages 4 and 6), have less allergies and illnesses. No antibiotics necessary in our household. Ongoing visits have shown to boost the immune system… so we don’t plan on stopping now. Reminds me… time to make out next appointment!!!

I’m pregnant and was having lower back pain. I’ve never seen a chiropractor before but decided to give it a try. I’ve been seeing Dr. Sinawi at Complete Spine & Joint Center for the past 3 months and it has made a huge difference. I haven’t had any lower back pain since I’ve seen him. At first I was scared to go while I was pregnant but his table opens up for a pregnant belly to go in. I would 100% recommend Complete Spine and Joint Center to my friends.
