Walid Fakhoury was named a Top 100 Trial Lawyer in 2010 by The American Trial Lawyers Association. He was named the 2002 Lawyer of the Year by Michigan Lawyers Weekly, because of his professional demeanor, legal ability and integrity. Mr. Fakhoury has been named Michigan Super Lawyer every year since the magazine was published. He has also been listed in «Outstanding Lawyers of America». Mr. Fakhoury was also appointed Magistrate of the 52^nd District court in 1989 as the youngest Magistrate in U.S. history.

Mr. Fakhoury consistently helps clients achieve multimillion dollar settlements and verdicts. Mr. Fakhoury is a member of the Multi-​Million Dollar Advocates Forum. In 2006, he obtained a settlement of $ 2,000,000.00, the ninth-​highest settlement ever agreed on in the state of MIchigan.
