Shades of Pink Foundation’s Walk At the Zoo

History

Established in 2005.

The Shades of Pink Foundation, a 501c3 public charity, was founded in 2005 by Suzanne Krueger and Dr. Pamela R. Benitez, a breast surgeon at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak and Vice President and Medical Director of the Foundation.

Since its inception, the Shades of Pink Foundation has assisted hundreds of women and their families by helping to ease the financial difficulties they face after a breast cancer diagnosis. The foundation is volunteer-​driven and helps women living in Southeast Michigan.
