Service was terrible. Underpaid and annoyed employees who rudely tell u they are out of pretty much everything but chicken strips. Ok so I’ll have the chicken strip platter and a bottle of water. «We don’t sell waters». Really? Ok well never mind I have an ice tea in the car. Food was not good im sorry. They use a sugary fry batter. I don’t like sweet tasting fried chicken. You can tell they use the same oil for the fries which is fine but if I can tell that by eating then what does that tell you? Old oil. Nasty.

Corn fritters & chicken sandwiches are delish! Made with 3 – 4 white meat chicken tenders, cheese, lettuce and mayo, it gives a simple but highly addicting rush to your taste buds. Guys be sure to order two, ladies 1 is enough =)
Their family feast is always plenty for a family of 4 and we always have left overs and remember to try their corn fritters with honey (remember to ask for it at window)

It is an ok place… Ate fries, shrimp and chicken. More of a fast food setup. People were nice and courteous… I will go there one more time… If better, I will update this.

Ughhh where do I start!!! Ok… I went thru the drive thru… a great experience. I needed to feed 3 people one being my 8 year old who requested chicken wings, the other being adults who weren’t so hungry but love fried chicken. I originally wanted the chicken and fish meal when I looked at the menu at home but decided against it when the woman at the drive thru said only one wing came with the meal. Oh… What to do? I told her my situation… She suggestion the 10 piece meal that came with 2 wings and was plenty of chicken for 3. I drove to the pay window and oh man, realized I only had $ 17!!! How damn embarrassing!!! Sooooo I played it off and said…“how many pieces am I getting??? Oh no, I’ll have chicken for dayzzzzz!!!” Lol… She was very patient with me as I kept asking her how many pieces in each meal until I had the right number of pieces I could afford!!! ANYWAY… Got home and the chicken was delish… Cole slaw… delish…corn fritter… Off the hook!!! next time I will check my wallet before leaving the house so I know if I need to hit the bank first as I don’t do credit cards!!!

I have not had a disappointing visit in all my years dining here. The food is prepared fresh and hot.
I had a craving for their shrimp all week so I was anxious for Friday night’s dine out. I visited the Lake Worth location after my retail therapy workout. I ordered the Chicken/​Shrimp Dinner and as expected I was well pleased and very full. It was so good I went back Saturday after not much conveniencing from my husband and sister. This visit I ordered the shrimp dinner with a side of buffalo sauce. Mmm good to the last fry. And did I mention the portion is more than enough.

Visit once a month always enjoy chicken finger quickie with fritters no fries and fish 1 piece with tartar sauce. Usually end up somehow with fries but I’ve become more apt at checking the order before pulling away. All in all service & food «A»…

It’s pretty decent, fried shrimp are a nice size and crisp, the cocktail sauce is yummy with enough horseradish. Chicken is good… lacks a little salt. Corn fritters are delicious!

I will always remember our very first meal after moving into our new home in RPB — Bud’s. Had never heard of it, but it was awesome! Mostly though, we frequent this place during Lent because their fish is sooo good for a fast-​food type place. Cocktail sauce, awesome. Fried shrimp, huge! Love, love, love — for a deep fried place! And the coleslaw is awesome too!

Chicken and seafood fast food. reminds me of any other fast food chain. Stopped in since Unilocal had high reviews. Yes, this is not a smart choice if you are looking for healthy, fried fried fried are your options. I ordered the lunch combo, fish sandwich with a tub of fries. It wasn’t bad, but not spectacular. I don’t see myself returning.

If you are looking for a heart attack to happen, go here. I remember going here when I was living at home and I don’t miss it. My mom’s request wasn’t one of my favorites, but anything for Momma prevails. Anyway, the 3 piece chicken meal I got was greasy and good. The macaroni and cheese was actually more healthier than the bird. I’m getting the conch fritters next time since I would rather eat that. Sorry, my stomach can only handle so much at this age… lol

This is another Palm Beach County exclusive. Their chicken, while not as zesty as say Popeyes, is incredibly crunchy on the outside and full on juicy on the inside. Their fritters are fantabulous. I’ve been a regular here for years and years (I’d come more often but this is the place you go to when eating healthy is not a major concern). Love me some Buds though!

You will NOT find a better chicken tender or piece of fish or Shrimp anywhere in South Florida. Been going here for years. My kids love the homemade corn fritters. All of their salads (potato coleslaw, etc) are very good, also. Their fish is a flaky, lightly battered fish. Their shrimp ~ the same way. Ditto for their fried clams and bay scallops. They know seafood, that’s for sure! Yummmm

Oh My God…
I can’t get enough of this hot grease down my throat. I LOVE BUD’s! Every time I go down to the Palm Beach area this is a must. I think I had Bud’s 4 times during the 7 days I was in West Palm. The staff is so friendly and helpful and the fried clam strips with tartar sauce is second to none. If you’re in the mood for some really good fried food I would highly suggest you get your rear-​end down there. The hush puppies are a fluffy corn filled heaven… oh man, I’m drooling again!
VERDICT: GET YOURSELF SOME!

EVERY time I go back home, I have to make sure I stop at Buds and pick up a seafood plate and a 2 piece white chicken dinner.
This place is a chain restaurant in South Florida. Buds Chicken & Seafood, by far is one of my favorite spots to make sure i get my eat on when I go back to West Palm Beach.
This particular one is about 5 minutes from the house in Florida, and I used to hit it religiously in high school and when Id return home from college.
There chicken/​Seafood is amazing, Fried everything pimpin… so go in there expecting to gain a few… trust, well worth it.
They also have great buffalo wings as well.
