Teresa has been a tremendous asset for me and my family. My son has struggled with ADD and it has caused a lot of power struggles around the house. We hired Teresa as our ADD coach.
For us as parents: My husband and I finally came to understand how some of the most exasperating behavior problems were not necessarily in our son’s control. She could see what we see. A bright kid who just wasn’t shining as bright as he can. She helped me understand the «hidden» symptoms like lethargy and hyperfocus. FINALLY I understand why he can focus when he WANTS TO! Even better she helps all of us notice the difference between excuses and explanations. She has a great article on it too!
For him: he was always so excited to show her how much he had improved. She checked in on him more often than we expected. It kept him on track and helped him learn new habits.
Her packages are 3 months long and Teresa is attentive to our son and us as parents. She is wonderful. We even extended Aaron’s coaching an additional month. He just seems so much more confident. We wanted to see more of an improvement in his grades but his teachers tell us his behavior and school work shows a huge change. We are optimistic for better grades next term! He is in the 6^th grade.
