Specialties
Point Defiance Tap and Grill is a casual neighborhood restaurant and pub emphasizing all things Northwest. All meat and dairy products are sourced locally; other ingredients are sourced locally whenever possible and practical. Specialties include grass-fed beef burgers, served on Macrina Bakery buns and accompanied by fresh-cut fries and house-made condiments and pickles. Craft beer lovers will enjoy our sixteen rotating taps, and wine enthusiasts will appreciate our impressive all-PNW list. Soups and desserts are made in-house daily.
History
Established in 2014.
Point Defiance Tap and Grill opened in November of 2014 and is the joint project of Bill Bonnie (owner of Tacoma Wine Merchants and Enoteca Wine Bar in Tacoma’s Stadium District) and Donn Frostad of North Slope Builders. Since its opening, PDT&G has become both a neighborhood favorite and a destination for those seeking to enjoy fresh, farm-to-table fare in a casual setting.
