Anytime Towing

I have been meaning to write about Brandon Jones. OMG was he great! I broke down on Interstate 95 and still had a long way to go to reach Tysons Corner. So we ended up riding together for about 1 ½ hours. He was just delightful to chat with for all that time! So concerned that I got my car where it needed to go and could not have made breaking down a better experience! :) Thank you Brandon! Management should know that he is such a terrific employee!

My family and I were driving on I-​95 by Spotsylvania, VA it was a rainy day and ended up in a 17 car crash pile up, luckily no one was hurt but my poor car was. The car wasn’t drivable and we were about 1 hour 30 min away from home. We called AAA and Brandon Jones from Anytime Towing came to the rescue. We were on the crash scene for 3 hours with 2 kids very rattled and just wanted to get our car and go home. It seemed everything else was going wrong, traffic back home was insane bumper to bumper so it took about another 3 – 4 hours to get home. Brandon was so pleasant to talk to on the ride home. We couldn’t ask for a better Tow driver to handle this terrible day with us because it was a long day for him too and he handled it very professionally. Thank you Brandon Jones and Anytime Towing for the superb service!

We contacted our roadside assistance company that we pay monthly for to get a tow truck to tow our vehicle. They contacted this company to come pick up our vehicle. The tow truck driver suggested that we have him take our vehicle to his tow truck company. At the time multiple things this tow truck driver said seemed odd however due to the things we were dealing with from the accident, I let the odd conversation go and told him that was fine.
While we were on the way home my husband called this business to inquire about storage fees and we were told over the phone that it would be $ 40 a day.
When we came to this business to pay the 4 days of storage fees, we were made aware by our roadside assistance company that this business contacted them and «cancelled the call» which indicated that they didn’t pick up our vehicle which they clearly had. The company then tried to charge us for the towing bill since they incorrectly assumed that they could bill our insurance company.
Unfortunately, the man in charge of the business became irate with us when my husband tried to explain to him that we never asked them to «cancel a call» to our roadside assistance company that we had initiated. He charged us double the storage fees since due to his incorrect assumptions he could not bill anyone for the towing fees anymore except us. We had no choice but to pay the fees since they had possession of our vehicle.
I am still in shock that someone would operate a business this way. Clearly, my phone call was not returned by this person. We have documentation of all of these actions and I am only sharing this story (as this still greatly disturbs me) so that others are aware of this companies business practices. I have also consulted an attorney and have been advised to share my experience on social media. I am Extremely disappointed that a business operates this way. Luckily, my roadside assistance company agreed to reimburse us for this companies charges.

Huge shout out to Matt. We experienced a flat on the side of 95 near Hanover exit. No spare as fusion’s only negative. AAA sent us to a Walmart that didn’t have a tire center. Sunday night and nothing open. Matt graciously waited while we determined to go to Fredericksburg location. As his own idea, he stopped first at hotel so we could check in and leave our luggage. Then took us to Walmart to drop off the car, show us how easy to walk there in the morning and then back to the hotel. That’s going over and beyond expectations. I wanted to propose marriage to him by the end. Their office also kept in touch with a time update while we were waiting. Thanks so very much. I hope to not need your service again, but highly recommend you to others! Blessings for taking such good care of my daughter and I.

To say it had been a bad day would be an understatement. We had our second flat tire of the day when we called AAA. They sent Anytime Towings’ Billi to change it and we couldn’t have gotten any better service. He was so friendly and had our donut spare on in minutes but after realizing that we were still 30 miles from our hotel, Billi offered to tow us to the hotel instead. Having no idea that this service was even available, we were very grateful to accept his offer. I’d recommend Anytime Towing to anyone needing AAA or towing services in this area of Virginia!

We had a flat tire on last tuesday evening right at the Thornburg, Va exit. It was a miserable evening… cold, rainy, sleeting etc. We called AAA and they sent out Anytime Towing. Johnny could not have been nicer, he was only able to fill the tire not patch it. He gave us some recommendations on where to get it fixed the next morning. We stayed over night, and had to have AAA send Anytime Towing out the next morning to fill the flat tire. This time Billi came out and we had prompt and professional service filling the tire. We could not wait for the tire to be patched at Xpress Tire… several hours and we needed to get back to NC. We did get it patched at Clem’s just down the street, and they were great also!
Considering it was not the best situation for us… everyone did their best to help our family during our travels. We just wanted to say thank you so very much!
PS– Johnny and Billi deserve a little extra in their paycheck… very nice and professional people to deal with!

My car malfunctioned at 7am on heavily traveled I-​95 when it was literally freezing cold — approximately 12 degrees with heavy winds. About 20 minutes after I called AAA (MidAtlantic), Stuart from Anytime Towing arrived. He quickly loaded up my car and cheerfully towed us to a repair shop about 10 minutes away. We’re very grateful for how quickly he arrived and how professionally he behaved.
Anytime Towing is apparently part of an enterprise that also includes Xpress Tire and Auto; they are next door to each other. I had my car repaired after the tow and will post a (positive) review about the repair separately.
