I read the other person’s review and I can agree with a few things: The location is one of the ONLY reasons to live here. The commute to NYC is super easy, the 190 bus is right outside your door. Access to Rt 21, Rt 3 and Rt 80 are all really close. The grounds/grass is always maintained and look nice. Now for the reasons NOT to live here… 1. The management company is horrible & unprofessional. I complained about a tenant who has 2 dogs(you are only allowed 1 pet) the management lady told me «maybe she’ll DIE soon» The Management company– Community Management Corp. Clifton, NJ also does not enforce rules either. Many unit owners have more then 1 pet and over the weight limit! Lots of big dogs and pitbulls! 2. The maintenance fee is over $ 410 a month! For ZERO amenities! Heat is included, but its ALWAYSHOT. The heat is «required» to be on from Oct-MAY! Even if it’s 70 degrees out seems the heat is ALWAYSON. I have ever radiator turned off and it’s still hot! 3. You only get 1 parking spot, there is NO guest parking. If you want a 2nd parking spot you have to wait on a 5 year waiting list. I’ve been waiting over 2 years… Utterly ridiculous. 4. There seems to be more renters then owners and they don’t «screen» the people who are renting. 5. The units are SMALL. 1 bedroom is 675 sq feet, 2 bedroom is 775 sq feet The closets are super small, there is NO secure storage. There is a big open storage area, not even in the same building, you can’t lock up your belongings. All in all Rutherford is a nice town to live in, but Rutherford Manor is not. They are literally old(1948) apartments turned into«condos». I will move out as soon as I can…
